I finally had the chance to try Papercup coffee the other day and it was amazing! The coffee was excellent- 10/10. I ordered the iced Spanish latte and the iced tiramisu latte with oat milk. Their Spanish latte is one of the best I've ever tried. You get the bold flavor of the espresso but also some sweetness and cinnamon in there. The tiramisu latte was also wonderful. You can taste the delicious tiramisu flavor as well as the espresso. I love the cold foam they add on top as well. Their avocado toast was also 10/10! Super yummy with thick bread, plenty of avocado, small cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, and olive oil drizzled on top. The café itself was lovely! There are plenty of seating areas throughout. The place reminds me of a greenhouse and it has a really cute vintage vibe. Some of their furniture looks Victorian and it was also very clean inside. The cashier was warm and welcoming. I just wish the place was open a little later on Saturdays. On Saturdays, it's open from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday it's open from 7:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. I parked in the metered street parking nearby. I will definitely be coming back to get their coffee again! I'm also curious to try other food items such as their Atlantic Smoked Salmon sandwich.

First time trying this place today. Contrary to all the modern coffee shops that exist today, this place has a vintage, old school feel which I love. It has plenty of seating and a selection of books that you can read while you sip on your drink. Ordered a couple Sage Brown Sugar Lattes with a Man'oushi cheese Pie. It was also my first time trying this "cheese pie" - to my disappointment, it was basically pita bread with melted cheese and herbs. It looked very basic but it ended up being actually pretty good. All in all, decent coffee and snacks at a reasonable price. The lady who owns the place was very kind which is something you don't get from many coffee shops these days. I recommend this place just based on her service alone.

    1. The latte had a delicious blend! I also really like the zaatar pie! 2. The spot has cozy casual vibes! The interior has cool decor as well as high ceilings! 3. There are both indoor and outdoor areas! There are a good number of seatings available! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! The drink was ready in 5 mins, and the pie was ready in less than 15 mins! 5. Paid Street parking is available as well as paid parking garages down the street! Note: There is a single restroom available for customers, and it requires a code! The bathroom is very clean! Photo: Honey Lavender Latte and Man'oushi Zaatar Pie

The Civic Center Plaza Towers' public parking garage is $2 per 30 min. If you purchase $10+ at the cafe, you can get a validation sticker for up to 3 hours. The garage entrance is on North Parton. There's also street parking if you can find it! I saw about 2 outlets on the side of the cafe, so I highly recommend arriving topped up if you plan on cramming/working here. The chairs are cozy give off grandma's dining table vibes, unlike the hard plastic seats that you typically find at new, modern-style cafes. This is such a huge consideration when choosing a cafe to work in for a few hours. The atmosphere is still warm & inviting, and the tables by the side window allow you to get some much needed sun in the winter. There is a little library with a variety of books from comics to Shakespeare. I appreciate cozy, home-y atmospheres like this and wish there were more like this cafe. Feta & mozzarella boreka (5.0) Perfect for savory, salty pastry lovers. It takes about 10 min because it arrives to you freshly baked. It's her homemade puff pastry with salty feta and creamy mozzarella. I really want to try the potato & mushroom one now! Sage brown sugar latte (4.5) I was worried that the brown sugar would overpower the sage, but this late was pleasantly bittersweet! I could taste the sage more than the brown sugar, which is really nice because I prefer drinks half sweet.

A lovely space with even lovelier owners. Mervat was so kind and warm. She welcomed me in a way that felt like I was visiting her home. She answered any questions I had and kindly guided me through her uniquely curated menu. The ambiance is super cozy and not boringly modern like a lot of coffee shops nowadays. I cannot emphasize enough how gorgeous the window area is. Such a nice spot to spend your day. There are plenty of tables and outlets and the WiFi works great. I tried their iced cardamom brown sugar latte (quad). Perfectly balanced. The cardamom worked really well with the sweetness. Def recommend. Can't wait to try their other drinks! For food I got to try two of their middle eastern pastries. One stuffed with meat and the other cheese. The name escapes me, but they were both SO GOOD. Toasted to perfection with a comforting warm savory center. A must try! Since I spent most of my day there I got to try two sandwiches. Roast beef and cheese croissant for breakfast and their pastrami pesto on ciabatta for lunch. Both were very yummy! Perfectly toasted. Everything is made fresh that day and the lunch items are made to order. Delicious! I can safely say I didn't have not one thing that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Thank you again Mervat for your wonderful hospitality. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about your beautiful establishment :)

The barista was very friendly and welcoming. I got the sage brown sugar latte and my friend got the rosemary honey latte. I liked that they have a lot of unique flavors. They also open early, which is nice if you want to get work done during the morning too. The space is clean and aesthetic, with a few outlets. Best of all, they have delicious food and it doesn't get crowded here. The cafe is tucked in a big office building, so I recommended parking in the public parking structure or to do street parking. Excited to come back to try more of their food and drinks

I wanted to check out a knew local coffee shop and I'm so glad I stumbled in and checked this place out. The owner is so sweet and kind, she helped recommend pastries as they had such a wide selection from traditional pastries to middle eastern pastries. I had most delicious zatar pie, so much flavor packed on warm pita! It looks soo simple but wow, packs a punch of flavor. This pairs perfectly with my Spanish latte, it was a tad on the sweet side for me, I'll order 1/2 sweet next time. This is a comfty little coffee shop nestled in downtown Santa Ana caddy corner from the civic center. This place is kind of hidden, and parking is either at a parking meter or the lot is required. I believe they validate parking. Definitely recommend checking it out and grabbing a unique pasty with your coffee if you're in the area!

new favorite spot!! I came last monday and had to come back today to bring my family! the owner is so lovely and brings a unique menu of different mediterranean inspired food! I LOVE the feta mozzarella borekas that I literally dream of. highly suggest the honey rosemary latte, the best i've had!! this place has tons of seating, lots of sunlight, and an overall warm and cozy vibe. I'd definitely bring a friend here for a nice long chat and some delicious coffee!

    Homemade Hummus Sandwich

Love this place! Great coffee. Great service. Inviting atmosphere. And lots of yummy selections on the menu. So today, I decided to try the hummus sandwich and it was beyond extraordinary. Very smooth and light. I asked for just the hummus so I can't speak to any of the other things that are on it. The bread was really good. Expect to have your teeth fighting with it as it is crunchy on top hut very light and fluffy on the inside and extremely tasty. Bravo!

Walking in the place had a cool vibe! They had outdoor seating as well as indoor seating! We were greeted when walking in! We took some time to look at the menu! They had food items as well! Prices were great! Not expensive at all! We got a Cold Brew, Hibiscus Tea and the Turkish Coffee Cold Brew 5/5 Was great tasting it definitely was a little more on the Darker side but I enjoy that! Hibiscus Tea 5/5 I love hibiscus tea and this one was very good! They have it unsweetened and you can add sugar to it if you would like! Turkish Coffee 5/5 I've never had Turkish Coffee but wow I was obsessed! It took them a while to prepare it but worth it! When they brought it out the aroma of it was so nice! The taste was also great, seemed like some spices in it I'm not sure but it was definitely something I would come drink again! I enjoyed this place! I stayed for about 45 min! The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation! I was lucky enough to find parking at a meter. There is however a parking structure and I'm not sure if they validate.

Awesome little gem I almost don't want to give away this secret little cafe I've discovered!! The owner seems like a beautiful black haired fair skin exotic strong woman named Mervad. She has made this place into a beautiful little getaway as if you have drifted into another world. Beautiful eye pieces to look and talk about the WiFi is free you can charge your devices and write or read without being bothered by huge crowds of people. And the prices are very affordable!!

Matcha latte, spinach, Potatoes and Mushrooms Bourekas Potatoes

This place is a true locally owned coffee shop. The owner and her daughter do everything from taking orders, making drinks, preparing and serving food. Some of the pastries, the owner herself bake in the morning. I had matcha latte and we had a couple food items. All of them were great especially the sandwich! The interior has a charming character and definitely not your cookie cutter coffee shop.

The baristas were friendly, and I appreciated the variety of matcha offerings on the menu. I ordered the Double Pistachio Matcha, which was incredibly creamy and had a rich, authentic pistachio flavor. While I enjoyed the nuttiness, the cream was a bit too heavy for my personal preference so I couldn't taste the matcha as much. I also tried my friend's Einspänner, which was absolutely delicious and something I'd definitely come back for. Another friend ordered the Hojicha Latte, and it had a perfect balance of roasted tea flavor and sweetness. My only downside was that it was quite warm inside during our May visit. The AC didn't seem to be running, which made it uncomfortable to stay for an extended study session or hangout. Hopefully that's something they address as Orange County approaches the hotter summer months. Overall, I'm excited to return and work my way through more of their drink menu. The atmosphere, drinks, and friendly service made for a great first visit.
