It was overstuffed all right, but the shrimp were hard as rubber and tasted like they had been cooked in week old oil. It was an hour before closing so maybe that was it but that is not an excuse. I'll still think about that delicious crawfish étouffée that I had years and years ago, and try my hardest to forget this terrible meal. The Poboy itself was around $15 and the fries were two dollars extra. To their credit, they were crinkly fries, which are always my favorite and they were delicious. I wish I would've never went back and kept my memories, but I did. Perhaps I'll give it another shot one day. I hear the gumbo is good, which was the special of the day, but it was too hot for that all the day I went. Lots of interesting things inside, it looks like a roadside attraction almost. Our server, Sarah, was an absolute legend. She had us stacked up on drinks and food the entire time and provided excellent service. The menu is amazing. They had so many great options.
