Small little shop on the corner that is just what was needed on an incredibly hot day. Staff is friendly and offered my pup a free pup cup. He did not decline and absolutely devoured it. There are some unique flavors and staff lets you sample the flavors. I got the Maple Walnut, and it did not disappoint. Would come back and try different flavors.

Walking in the ambience is so cute and friendly, the service is short and sweet. I got matcha green tea and strawberry ice cream 10/10 so yummy and my mom got mango and lime sorbet 10/10 she says the lime is really good. GO!

This place was right next to the cafe we walked to, and it looked like they had all sorts of delicious flavors of homemade ice cream. We tried a couple and got the Matcha and pistachio. Great service and price, $6 for a small cup with two flavors! Very cute place.

Very friendly place with delicious ice cream and many rotating choices. There are only 2 bar stools here and an outdoor seating area on the sidewalk.

OVERALL/WHAT TO KNOW: -Really good home-made ice cream from a lovely small business. The ice cream reminded me of gelato. ARRIVAL: -I came on a weekday afternoon in September of 2023. There was no line at all. -I only went here because I was walking by, I wanted ice cream, and I noticed that this was a small business that advertised their homemade ice cream. FOOD/DRINK: -I forget what it was called, but I got this dark chocolate flavor with coconut and caramel mixed into it. It might have been called German chocolate. -The flavor was mostly strong and chocolatey with the occasional variation from the little pieces of coconut and caramel. The coconut and caramel added a nice little crunchy texture too. SERVICE: -Server was really friendly and helpful! She gave me good advice when I asked what to get and let my try a few samples. ATMOSPHERE/LAYOUT: -I could not see the digital menu very well because it's very high and it changes every couple seconds so it was hard to see the full flavors list. I could read the flavors easier when I was looking at the labels in the glass display case. I still didn't know what ingredients were in each flavor though. For example, I think mine just said German chocolate and I only knew it had coconut and caramel in it because the server told me. -The layout was simple and straightforward. It's one room with an ice cream display counter towards the left that's connected at a right angle to a service counter with the register on it. -There is a bar up against the window with a handful of stools where people can sit and eat SUGGESTIONS FOR BUSINESS: -It would be great to have a menu that's easier to read and that has a list of what's in each flavor, like a print out or something.

I drove past this place twice before I stopped in. I love a small business ice cream shop. The girls that work here are super sweet. And the ice cream was amazing they had all unique flavors. The girls also said they make the waffle cones here... So I definitely go back to try them and try another flavor.

This new ice cream shop is a welcoming and fun presence on a street of otherwise nondescript storefronts. Employees greeted entering customers. Looks like they serve gelato, ice cream, soft serve. I ordered the below pictured soft serve, which was creamy and delicious, but seemed somewhat sad and dumpy in presentation. Price points seem somewhat high, but I would be willing to give them another try. But seriously, presentation matters!

A great addition to the neighborhood. The ice cream is homemade and you can definitely taste that (it's delicious). The staff was nice and let me taste different flavors. I went with a small matcha ice cream in a cone.

Great tasting ice cream and friend staff. The small dining room was clean and well lit. They have dipped waffles cones which is a fun treat. I had the peanut butter ice cream which had chucks and a dipped pistachio and chocolate cone. It tasted good. It was a little pricey and at the time they only had 6 flavors and most had no chunks.

The flavors were kind of unique, however not that strong. But it's not bad for the price, $4 for an 8oz cup

There are different types of cold treats: gelatos and more slushie like consistency frozen confections that are served in a cup. My vegan friend appreciated that he could choose from multiple vegan flavors, not just be limited to the one and only offering, which is what most places usually have. Melon flavor was incredible. Tasted like frozen melon was crushed with ice and chopped into an ice/smoothie blend. Super refreshing. Very sweet, though. All flavors are very sweet, so a small portion can be shared and you will feel satisfied. I personally enjoyed their in-house special flavor of gelato: honey cream with crushed almonds, pistachios, and hazelnuts. That was bombastic! Love how nutty the consistency was. I love nuts, so this almost reminded me of a chunky peanut butter situation: just more fine grained and smooth, with gelato being the base. Highly recommend trying this flavor! Focacia was okay. A bit too dry and bland for my liking, but still decent. My favorite item was the pistachio bombolone which is officially now my favorite dessert. This was magnificent! The yeasty dough was so light and airy--perfectly light and balanced. The filling of pistachio cream was very delicate and not sweet at all, which was such a nice surprise. I do not like saccharine dessert. The fresh raspberry jam was a perfect balance to the pistachio cream. I never like jams in my desserts, but this was a perfect complement. Woooow, what a treat! Can't wait to return for it and to try more of their other flavors--hazelnut & chocolate, coconut, white chocolate, tiramisu. You could taste the superb quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend.

I mean that flaky, instantly melting ice carved mechanically using some kind of drill motor with all the torque, off a block the size of a dorm fridge and then topped with syrupy fruits and condensed milk and such. And this wasn't that either, but I now need to find a place for this near me. It was more like regular ice cream at a soft-serve consistency, topped with all the things-- that part was as expected. Hubs & I were thinking of getting two different things but we both wanted the mango madness, and then the checkout person said it was the size of a quart container. So just one then. I wish we got to see it being made up but it was full in there (at 10p, after the theaters let out), and they seated us and gave us a buzzer that went off almost immediately. We almost didn't finish it even between the two of us. Absolutely delicious, just overwhelmingly enormous. It could be a low-grade food challenge to complete it! And with all that fruit, actual mango chunks and a banana, it's practically a healthy snack. Gotta find one of these closer to home!

There's just something special about their gelato--especially when topped with that rich pistachio sauce. On a previous visit to their Times Square location, I had one of their more decadent creations: gelato with waffle sticks and pistachio sauce. It was absolutely heavenly and incredibly delicious. This time, I didn't have room for something quite as indulgent, but I still wanted something sweet after dinner at La Basque. The closest Amorino was in Greenwich Village, just a 10-minute walk away. That walk alone is always a treat--Greenwich Village is charming, pedestrian-friendly, and full of outdoor dining and energy, especially on a September Saturday afternoon. I grabbed my gelato to-go and chose the amarena and hazelnut flavors, topped with the signature pistachio sauce. They poured the sauce at the bottom of the cup, and it hardened slightly to create a delicious shell underneath the gelato. I enjoyed it while walking through the Village, soaking in the late-summer atmosphere of the city with gelato in hand. Simple, sweet, and exactly what I needed.
