After we ripped up the entire carpeted space and treated it--I wanted info from a professional to see if there was anything else that we needed to do before getting the affected slab ground down and polished. I spoke with several companies who were unhelpful over the phone or charging ridiculous fees just to come out and provide an estimate. Mathew, the owner of Puget Sound Water Rescue was timely in his responsiveness over the Yelp App (on a Sunday afternoon) and ultimately provided us the perspective and information that we needed to determine whether or not professional remediation services were warranted at this point. Ultimately we determined with his help that they were not. Despite the fact that we did not end up hiring (anyone), his knowledge, honesty, and helpfulness were 5 stars worthy. Highly recommend talking to and/or Mathew for your remediation needs!

So, when my portable AC leaked onto my flooring last night, I knew who I was going to contact. I called when they opened, and found out that he was booked for the next week. I decided to send him a message to see if there was a company he would recommend to me. He actually responded immediately and said that he'd be able to squeeze me in! You have no idea how grateful I was to hear that. He gave me two time options, and called me when he was on the way. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. I've had quite a few companies do various types of jobs for me, and there are only two who I'd recommend. Mathew with Puget Sound Water Rescue is one of them!

Around midnight on July 4th, my family experienced one of the most terrifying and devastating events of our lives--a house fire. Thankfully, we all made it out safely, but we stood outside completely horrified and heartbroken, watching our home burn while knowing our two beloved cats were still somewhere inside. While the firefighters were still at our home, I received a phone call from Owen Guape. In the midst of complete chaos, Owen introduced himself in a calm, reassuring voice and simply told me that he could help. I was overwhelmed, distraught, and sobbing, but something about his demeanor gave me enough reassurance to say yes. Within 20 minutes, Owen arrived at our home with water for our family and immediately began offering comfort and support. By 9:00 the next morning, Owen and his team were back at our home, tarping and boarding it up to make sure it was secure. But what I will never forget is that Owen spent hours helping us search for and rescue both of our cats. Miraculously, they were alive, but terrified and hiding. His willingness to stay and help us find them meant more to our family than I could ever put into words. The kindness did not stop there. Owen personally delivered several of my husband's suits after they had been cleaned at their facility so that he would have clothing to wear to work. In the middle of everything we were dealing with, that level of thoughtfulness and personal care meant so much to us. Within days of the fire, several members of the Pacific Northwest Restoration team met me and our insurance company at the house to begin assessing the damage and inventorying both the structure and the contents of our home. They have worked seamlessly with our insurance company throughout the process, which has helped take an enormous amount of stress off our shoulders. On the contents and project management side, I have had the privilege of working closely with Rieley, Lana and Amanda, who have truly been by my side throughout this process. They consistently keep me updated on what their team is working on, explain the next steps, answer my questions, and have even coordinated multiple deliveries of our belongings to the rental home where we will be living while our house is rebuilt. Meanwhile, other members of the team have continued working at our home, removing debris and handling the ongoing cleanup. I often think about what would have happened if I hadn't answered that random phone call in the middle of the night during the scariest experience of my life. I am incredibly grateful that I did. Pacific Northwest Restoration has given my family something that is incredibly difficult to find after experiencing such a devastating loss: peace of mind. This is more than a restoration company. This is a team of people who understand that behind every damaged home is a family whose entire world has just been turned upside down. They are communicative, responsive, compassionate, professional, and, most importantly, they genuinely care about the people they serve. Without hesitation, I would recommend Pacific Northwest Restoration LLC to anyone who has experienced a fire or any other devastating event in their home. During one of the darkest and most overwhelming moments of our lives, this team stepped in and helped us begin putting the pieces back together. If you ever find yourself facing the unimaginable, you want people like Owen, Rieley, Amanda, Lana and the entire Pacific Northwest Restoration team standing beside you. You are truly in good hands with this company, and my family will forever be grateful for everything they have done--and continue to do--for us.

A year later when selling our house they found unrealized damage from that fire. The presure from the fire hoses soaked the plywood and created mold in the attic. This left my husband and I in deep stress and helplessness. Quick Dry was quick to respond, bringing in their expertise, guidance, and highly-skilled knowledge to ensure our floors and walls were free from water damage and mold! Every week they would contact me to schedule visits to check on the progress of our dryness level. They never disappointed as they would show up at the time that they were scheduled. And they would work around our us whenever they wanted to schedule a visit. There were times when I was out of town for work and they would be so accommodating to me and my schedule - and their communication was on point!! And not to forget the amazing personalities and respect that they gave me and My Husband. They would come into our house with scrubs on (ant our request) and would be respectful of our property. And all the guys were well-mannered and very respectful - Something small, but impactful! Each and every person who came into our house for visits (there were several) were so polite! I took down as many names as I could, but If I forgot anyone, I do apologize. But some of the names of our technicians were: Mick, Jonathan S, Tyshawn, Genesis, Alexander, Jessie, David, Gavin, Nathan, and Tony. It took us over a month to find any contractor willing to repair post-demo and it was more difficult than necessary because the demo was far more extensive than required based on the small amount of water damage. The demo cut out the walls all the way to the edge of the shower, making the replacement of drywall extra difficult. They removed more floor tiles than necessary, claiming it would save from breaking tiles, but they still broke the adjacent tiles around the demo. When I called to inquire about what compensation there may be for the demo extending beyond initial and agreed upon area, the male supervisor patronizingly told me he "understood I was upset." As if only a hysterical woman would be frustrated with the demo work extending beyond the initial agreement and causing further damage and repair costs. This manager had zero interest in my complaints and was sexist as he did it. I kind of can't believe Seatown recommended this company. I have previously never had any complaints about Seatown, but by recommending this water mitigation service, they lead us into a $6000+ mistake. And now we have mismatched tile in our bathroom because the tile the Quck Dry representative said would be "easily replaced" cannot be found in the store and we couldn't afford to also rip out the entire floor. Do not work with Quick Dry Restoration. Do not believe recommendations. They will take your money and peace out. They don't care about the fallout.

They abandoned the project half way through, we believe because of the way they were handling their sub contractors. This was hands down the worst business experience we have ever had in the Washington area. The employees lacked basic business etiquette, and the Project Manager and Finance Manager were incredibly rude to both me and my wife. Key Issues: Mis-diagnosed the issue big time even after we repeated telling them the root cause and area of the problem. We feel they intentionally did that to increase the scope of the work. They tore down upstairs bathroom completely without even properly checking the root cause. There were no issues with the upstairs bathroom. They did not tear down the actual place where it was leaking, this was unbelievable to us. Drove us completely nuts. Abandonment: They left the job halfway through and never bothered to check back with us, failing to complete the work they promised. Hostile Behavior: Instead of resolving the incomplete work, they threatened us and sent a lien letter to our house. This aggressive approach is unacceptable. Project Manager yelling and screaming on the calls with all filthy, profanity and inappropriate words. Staff Turnover: They fired more than three employees who had been dealing with us very nicely, which further disrupted the project. Subcontractor Issues: Even the subcontractors they hired seemed unhappy and difficult to work with. Advice: Do not trust these guys with any big jobs. If you value your peace of mind and want a project actually finished, look elsewhere. I have the pictures and videos of our project to prove their Incompetency and also the threatening letter they sent us Hope you guys understand. I was all ready to file a case BBB. I will soon post the photos of the sloppy job they did.

The water proceeded to run down into our basement damaging insulation and adding a layer of water to the basement floor. Once we were able to stop the water from continuing to flow onto the floors, we immediately called Washington Water Damage. Jeff came out that evening to perform a high level assessment of the damage. The very next morning he had an entire crew at the house and they began the process of recording the damage for our insurance, performing the demo work needed to remove the damaged flooring and preparing the damaged areas for the drying process. I could not be happier with the performance of Jeff's team. They were efficient, clean and extremely professional. They constantly kept my wife and I informed of each step so that we always had a solid understanding of the process and what to expect next. Once Jeff's team had completed the demo and drying process, Mike came directly out to the house to assess the restoration stage of the process. He handled everything from ordering new flooring materials to providing the proper paint for the drywall areas that had to be replaced. Once the materials for the flooring arrived from the manufacturer, Mike's team promptly began their work on the restoration. I was blown away by how quickly the team was able to bring everything back to the way it was. The quality of their work was excellent. The new hardwood floors that were installed looked so much better than they did prior to the damage. The drywall and exposed insulation looks great. They took care to make sure that all of the molding was reinstalled and repainted. Their workmanship really speaks for itself. They even handled most of the paperwork with our homeowner's insurance. The only part they didn't handle was what the insurance required me to complete. I'm very appreciative to the entire Washington Water Damage team for all of their help through this stressful time. I strongly suggest you consider them if you ever find yourself in need of a damage mitigation and restoration service.
