I was looking for a same day appointment, which I feared would be impossible, but True Clean was kind enough to have a technician rush over for a home with 2500+ square feet! They definitely paid careful attention despite a last minute appointments, cleaned the entire home's carpets, and had a positive attitude. I definitely tipped. These guys were wonderful from the beginning. The complex I live in gave me a free carpet cleaning for renewing my lease...I called them and informed them I wanted to redeem my free coupon but had a couple questions. They told me they weren't sure about one and would have to return my call. I didn't expect to hear back from them that day, and they called me back minutes later! The day of my carpet cleaning, I called right when they opened to get an idea of when to expect them...they accidentally gave me a wrong time and had the integrity to call me back to let me know when to really expect them. They were on time, accurate, thorough, quick, and friendly to boot! They did a great job and my carpet looks brand new! I would highly suggest them to anyone. read more

If i could give this company a zero I would. Very disappointed. My property management set up the appointment for my yearly free carpet cleaning. The company didn't bother to show last year and this year they showed up 2.5 hours into the 1-5 pm window I had to wait for them. I spent the previous night and following morning picking up things off the floor (boxes, knickknacks) and watched the time go by. When I heard a loud knock on my door (scared my cat!), I asked who it was because there's an intercom down below in order to buzz them up, that they didn't use...no answer. Asked again, no answer. I peeped through the door hole and saw a man who was looking off to the left with both hands crossed in front. I opened the door expecting it was True Clean, and asked him how he was able to come up, and he said something unintelligible, and walked right past me like he owned the place and started touching and started to play around with the knickknacks on top of my fireplace. The second guy that came in was nicer amd muchore professional by waiting until he was invited in, so I asked him if he wanted me to move the three pieces of furniture in my living room out to the hall, or would they do it. He offered to, then went back downstairs while the other guy paced and was fixated on the ornaments I had. Really made me uncomfortable. As I sat back down on my couch, he asked me whether I would move the chairs and coffee table. I told him I had asked the other guy and he offered to move it for me. He then said something about liability and I responded to check with the other guy nut I didn't mind moving it myself (it was my stuff after all) At this point, he said something in Spanish from the balcony to the guy below and came back and said they'd do it but it's not their responsibility. I again told him I didn't mind and they had to get their story straight when he confirmed he was the other guy's supervisor and demanded I could do whatever I wanted. Sigh. When I called him on how rude he was being in my own home, he stated he would not do the job, and stormed out. I called my property manager to complain and she offered to come up to supervise and help move the furniture, but at that point I felt extremely uncomfortable and decided against having that man in my place again. I asked her to never call them for carpet cleaning service on behalf of my apartment and decided to do it on my own. Why waste more of my Labor Day holiday... Customer service has truly disappeared and I miss Stanley Steemer. When I lived in L.A., not only did they clean my carpets to make them look brand new annually, but they were respectful of others property, courteous, professional and worth the recommendations they get and receive. I had a late notice need to get my carpets cleaned in my rental unit. I called several different different companies recommended by Yelp but True Clean was the only one who could accommodate me on Monday which was short notice. After explained that this was a fairly small unit 1200 square feet total square footage with two bedrooms, a den, and a living room dining room combination that the cost would be around $120 but no more than $140. I was given the time between nine and noon for the service however I got call early Monday morning from the person who is going to be cleaning the carpets and he wanted to know if I can get there right away. So I hurried on over but it was still unable to get there at five minutes before 9 AM. It took the operator only about 45 minutes to do the job and when I came back the job did look professional and it did look well done. He told me checks would not be excepted which was fine with me and that I would have to give my credit card information to the operator at their office. When I asked what the amount would be she said $140. When I asked about the $120 fee she said that no it was $140. I told her that even at $120 they were the most expensive company that I contacted. She didn't seem to be impressed but pressed for the charge of $140. The other companies I contacted said they would charge between $70 and $90 for the same service which I felt was reasonable. The operator who did the work and gave me the receipt sensed that I was unhappy with the charges and offered to give me a discount for the next service. Two attempts to have these folks clean my carpets. The first resulted in an appointment that they did not let me know was scheduled. No acknowledgement, no confirmation email, and no phone call, so the day before the requested date I emailed to let them know that since I had received no confirmation, I made other plans for that day. Guess who apparently showed up, or at least called to ask where I was. The second time a four-hour window was confirmed, but they didn't show up or call. I have used True Clean since we moved here 3 years ago. I use them 2-4 times a year. The office staff are wonderful and Dawn always remembers me when I schedule appointments. She is always friendly and follows up when I need her to with pricing and things. The techs are always on time and I never have the problem of recurring stains when they clean my carpet. They are scheduled to come again tomorrow and I will continue to use them as long as I can! They offer really good stain lifting, odor eliminating and refreshing carpet services. Your house will not smell musty when they leave. I have used another company before we moved here and after they left my carpets smelled musty almost as if they used mildew water to clean the carpets. This has NEVER been a problem with True Clean! I am grateful for my unit offering free carpet cleaning when you sign up for another year with em. So I scheduled one for Monday afternoon around 2 so I can have enough time to vacuum and have my kids fed and have errands done before they arrived. Well they showed up at 10 am. Both of the guys were friendly so I figured I'd ask em if I could vacuum real quick and they said no they were running out of time to do another appointment. Ok, let's see how this goes. The guy didn't cover some corners in the dining room as well as the living room (mind you the area has been cleared) and by the time he was done, he just stood there as if he were waiting for a tip. I checked the carpet, nothing new, it still had stains like it's never been touched at all. So I sent him off without tipping! Never again! Rug doctor is the way to go from here on. read more

True clean is an awesome company! We use them at my work and they're always so nice and courteous. They are punctual, professional and kind. I called them to clean my carpets at an apartment I was moving out of as well and I made an appointment, they showed up right on time and got done within an hour- pet seal and everything! Pathetic service .. The team arrived late and without notice. They said they are "running late" and want to wrap up the carpet cleaning job. One person was listening to music (with headphones ON all the time ) while second one barely was doing the cleaning work. They didnt even allow us to move sofa to clean underneath. On top - they knocked a hole in our wall when they accidentally removed door stopper and opened the bedroom door. To summarize - worthless service .. I've done business with True Clean off and on over the last 5 or 6 years. I've had them clean carpets at properties I have managed as well as in my own home. A few months back I was preparing to move out of an apartment in Kent and being in the industry I knew I might end up having to replace the carpet because my dog had had a few accidents from my kids forgetting to walk him. They also spilled RED Gatorade on the carpet in two different spots. True Clean cleaned the carpet, and did an enzyme treatment and stain remover. They even came back to check it after it dried to make sure they got everything. I got my entire deposit back thanks to their hard work. read more

I would not even rate this place one star and I will tell you why. They were late, the lady when asked when the driver would arrive became frustrated with me over the phone and said "its not like I am with the guy in the truck, I have to call him" because I was simply saying that they had a few minutes until their "window" that they gave me expired. I am a professional and took the first half of my day off to make this happen, and they were late. The lady then became even more frustrated with me when I said they had a few minutes till the cut off (mind you I need to leave) and said "I am just going to cancel since you are being snotty"!! SERIOUSLY, why is it acceptable to call a customer a name when they are requesting something from you - its not as if I was being rude, just requesting a service in which I am paying!! Never have I been called a name by a company or treated with absolute disrespect while just expecting a service from a service oriented company (non tangible). The lady cancelled on me, probably because I had more colorful words for her as a result of her attitude towards me. NEVER do business with a company with an attitude, especially when the FAIL to show up when they say they will and then give you grief as if you have nothing better to do with your life than wait around for carpets to be cleaned. Do not use this company. They were supposed to come to clean my carpet between 9 AM and 11 AM today. I did not go to work. They did not show up, so at 11:00 AM I called them to ask if they would be coming or not. I explained to them that I could not wait any longer and had to go to work. They charged my credit card over the phone and I left the key for them to enter. They never showed up, no phone call, nothing. Now I have to go through a hassle and contact my bank and dispute charges. And by the way, I made an appointment with them 3 weeks in advance. It was not a short notice request. read more
