My experience with True Plumbing started with trying to schedule a call and the woman in the office who answered the call (sorry I don't remember her name) was so gracious, quick to respond to work me in and helpful. I'm on call for work and then had to call back and reschedule from a Friday to a must Monday. No problem she said! When I thought there was a chance that I could, after all, make it home (just later) she called her plumber and knowing I was driving called me back instead of texting. I had to ultimately bow out of the time as traffic was bad but WOW! So friendly the whole time. So then Monday, Chris the plumber comes out and seeks to assist in the issue in my home. LONG STORY! Anyway, he spent at least forty minutes, trouble shooting, moisture test, explaining my lines and where they go in the walls, etc.! After all that, no charge! I had even explained that my Home Warranty Company should reimburse he said "no problem!" You just don't see that kind of honesty anywhere! No wonder they have over 400 fantastic reviews! read more

I called and spoke with Jessica on a Friday afternoon and we had one of their plumbers Dave, scheduled for Monday morning at 8am for a shower valve install. Dave arrived promptly and was awesome. I had him do a few extra things while he was here and their pricing is more than fair! There was a bit of a miscommunication between Dave and I in regards to the valve placement, however when he came back on Wednesday to replace my toilet flange, he fixed the issue and now I'm on my way to completing my bathroom remodel. I walked in to the bathroom and nearly fell on the wet floor in the middle of the night. Apparently I had a leaky toilet that needed repair. i'm a fan super nice guy and did a great job for us and a very fair price. and, one of the few plumbers that knows how to install PEX (instead of copper tubing) PEX vs copper i've been told how great copper tubing is, yet the more i talk to people, i hear how their copper tubing had issues, leaks, pinholes, etc. (note: don't confuse copper 'tubing' and copper 'pipes'. copper tubing is VERY thin. and many times these days, the tubing that is used is the thinest possible. thin = greater chance of problems later. i know PEX is a relatively new product and the first generation of it had some issues, but as long as its used according to directions, i believe in some applications, it is the perfect solution. basically, PEX is super strong hose that is used in lieu of copper tubing. generally, must easier/quicker to install because you don't have all the connections, soddering, etc. you connect at one end, run the hose to where you need it, then connect at the other end. most new construction these days uses PEX. read more

Wow! We will always come back to True for any plumbing needs. Dave helped us with our hot water problem quickly and with professional kindness and honesty. We had ordered a special pump to get hot water faster, but after assessing our situation, he informed us (and we agreed) that the pump really wasn't necessary. I returned the pump to the manufacturer as he instructed, and expected the $387 refund. It never came. After nearly 3 months of emails and phone calls, in frustration, I contacted Jessica at True and told her about the problem. She promptly contacted the pump company and apparently realized that these people were not going to send the refund, so True sent me a check for the whole amount!!!! I felt that this was absolutely not their responsibility, but True felt, since they recommended the pump in the first place, and that pump company was so utterly irresponsible, they should be the ones to reimburse. Amazing!!! Jessica and True are caring, thoughtful, reliable and honest, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing help in the North County area. Called Mike a couple of hours ago on a Sunday. I thought I would just get a VM and would be scheduling him to come out during the week. He answered. I told him my issue (which was "minor" but we were without water until we fixed it). He told me that local home improvement stores have a tool which would solve my problem.
