I have also experienced the shipping and customer service "ghosting" from TrueShot. I ordered on December 22, 2023, was immediately charged and received notification last week that they are 2 weeks behind and sent a 10% coupon for "future" purchases. I have emailed customer service several days apart requesting an update/refund and supposedly I have a customer service ticket for my refund request. However, I get no response from TrueShot. I ordered ammo on 12/26/23 and still haven't gotten a shipping label on 1/6/24. I have called twice and emailed twice and I can't get a person on the phone or a return email. Pretty poor service, one more try before I file a dispute on the credit card payment (which they charged on the day of order). Buyer beware. read more

Bad experience buying ammo online with them. Waited over a week then emailed to get order status. And got an automated response saying someone will respond to your email in two weeks. What kind of bull is that. Waited a couple more days then called for status and every time I was told the some thing "your order will be shipped today". After 3 days of that, I just cancelled. I ordered Mag Tech 9mm on special, and did not notice they were steel case, which no shooting range will allow. My fault and more than willing to pay for return shipping. UPS, Fed Ex and USPS WIL NOT accept the shipment for return due to "hazardous material" but UPS said if the seller sends me a label to return they will accept it. I call True Shot AGAIN, they refuse to send a return label even though I said I'll pay you, or reduce my store credit for the return. Customer service has been good up to this point as I ordered 1k rounds of 5.56 then after placing the order was emailed a code for free shipping which could've saved me about $35 in shipping. Of course I emailed and requested a refund which was done and I went ahead and took advantage of the free shipping code. Fast forward to a week later when I just received my package. It has 50 boxes of 5.56 M193, or so I thought. 12 of these boxes are empty, and I haven't had the patience to make sure the others have the correct amount of rounds. I've already tried contacting FedEx with no response and also submitted a ticket through trueshots customer service email. With reading other reviews and seeing that this may be a reoccurring issue, possibly shipping ammunition in a box other than the literal one it comes in stating the contents maybe a generic one could prevent this from happening. Looking forward to a response but I hope this can be addressed and made aware to other potential customers. Photo below shows the condition of the box when delivered and also the empty boxes which just so happen to have been in the complete middle row with two additional empty boxes in random places. read more

I have no idea about the in-store experience, but the $99 annual membership is a waste of money. 1. I have orders (multiple) that are 21+ days old that the site shows as 'completed' but FedEx does not even have tracking information yet. -So "Completed" to TrueShot means they printed a shipping label. If it's a stock issue, you would hope that would be conveyed during the purchase process, or followed up with an email. At this point I'm buying ammo locally, since the TrueShot shipments are not here, which negates any savings from the membership. Better off paying the 60$/yr SportsmansGuide membership.. it's cheaper, they ship fast, any order over 50$ (any bulk ammo order is going to be 50$+) is free, and they have much better selection. - read more

Ammo, knives (pocket, OTF, clip, fixed blade, lock blade and so on, with brands like, Spyderco, Cricket, Buck) hearing protection, tactical backpacks,shirts, ammo cans, and much more. They now charge over twice as much as they did before COVID-19 for your average 9mm FMJ. Not only that, but they also started changing their prices from one day to another; no transparency.
