    Pork sausage link
    Sarah S.

My family went through the drive through for a family pack dinner around 7pm on a Thursday. It was our first time doing that. It included 2lbs of meat, 2 family size sides, and 1 gallon beverage. We chose 1lb lean brisket and 1lb turkey breast. They were sold out of ribs. For sides, the Brisket Beans, and Mac n Cheese, an a gallon of Lemonade, for $59.99. We additionally added a sausage link. Everyone liked the turkey breast the best. It's not necessarily kid friendly because it was so peppery... non the less, really good. The brisket was sadly a miss. I enjoyed the sausage as well. It was kid friendly. The Mac and Cheese was great! The kids loved it. The Beans with Brisket were awesome as well. Spicy again, but awesome. Side note: Bbq sauce wasn't included in the order, so if you go through the drive through like us, know that. We were surprised. I would order again for sure after exploring the menu.

I'm really surprised this place isn't getting the love! I've been here multiple times, and the only problem I had was fixed quickly. Originally you had to wait through the drive thru line if you wanted to pick up your app order. They now route you to the outside lane and run out your order. Way more efficient! Today I ordered a plain potato, 1/2 lb of lean brisket, and a Texas tornado. I like to get my potato plain so I can dress it myself at home. The potatoes are cooked well & easy to reheat if necessary. The lean brisket is my favorite, nice crust, smoke ring & juicy! This was my first time trying a Texas Tornado. It's a jalapeno stuffed with brisket, cream cheese & the outside is coated with bacon sausage. They cook the whole thing in the smoker & coat it with a cherry habanero sauce. Really good! I'm looking forward to trying some additional items!

Solid bbq option with a DRIVE THROUGH!!! The BBQ is all good. The beans and macaroni are great. Not a big fan of the greens. Potato salad is okay. Have not tried the slaw. Banana pudding is also great. They also have a dining room downstairs, a small dining room upstairs with a full bar, and a patio with tables on the second level.

This is the best bbq I've had in a long time. It's as good as any of the other Texas bbq restaurants I've been to, and is conveniently located inside my favorite H-E-B store. The restaurant is cute and clean, and pretty quiet. There's a full bar upstairs and patio seating if you're so inclined. The service is exceptional. While there, I witnessed about a dozen elderly with canes ordering, and when their orders were up Clara kindly and respectfully called them up and had their food carried to their tables for them. Good food, good service, good people. 10/10

Very good bbq, but not the best I've had. They have a great menu selection. The restaurant is two stories. The lower level is were you order and pick up your food, the upper level has a full bar. Both levels have a dinning area, and outdoor patio seating as well. Now mind you, this restaurant is attached to the new HEB they just opened up in Georgetown. It's the biggest HEB in Texas.

H-E-B has officially opened its new Wolf Lakes Village H-E-B in Georgetown. The store, which is twice the size of the location it replaced, provides customers with an expanded product selection along with more services and features, including a two-story True Texas BBQ restaurant with full-service bar (yes, FULL SERVICE with vodka, rum, etc). The ordering process Let me start with this, the food and service (at the bar) is outstanding but the wait and process for ordering is abysmal. When I came to this location, I waited in line for more than 30 minutes to place an order and waited another 35 minutes to get the food. Yes, over an hour for food. There was one cashier and one expeditor for the inside customers and one person taking orders for the customers waiting outside in the two car lines. If there were more people who were customer facing (e.g., cashiers), this would not make a difference in wait times only because there aren't enough workers in the kitchen to make the food. The food The brisket nachos were outstanding. The nachos were topped with juicy brisket, cheese sauce, green onions, sour cream and fresh jalapenos. To the restaurant's credit, every location like this one in the H-E-B family uses all-natural Angus brisket that is either choice or prime grade. H-E-B sells the same raw briskets in the store. The white turkey meat had a rich smoky pepper flavor and was tender. This same sentiment can be used to describe the sausage. The TX Torepo left much to be desired. This meat is stuffed with cream cheese and brisket, then wrapped in ground sausage and slathered with raspberry-chipotle glaze. This item was hard/over done and difficult to consume. The sides ordered were greens and macaroni and cheese. The greens seemed as if they were canned and lacked the acidity that fresh greens have. The macaroni and cheese... no words for this, in the trash it went. The peach cobbler was sweet with hints of cinnamon and wasn't dried out as many desserts like this can be when they are made ahead of time. Bar service The bartenders I had were great (so much so that I tipped them $20 each for a bill that was a fraction of that). The spirits served here are local spirits only. So if one is looking for vodka, rum or tequila, etc not made in TX, well one should look elsewhere. The bartenders were friendly, courteous and a riot! The time spent waiting for my food was spent at the bar knocking back gin and tonics with a friend! If coming to this location, it is recommended that you be prepared to wait and while you do so, head up to the bar and have a drink or go shopping for your weekly/monthly groceries because it will be a while.

The new H‑E‑B building here in Georgetown is awesome. This BBQ place here is also really great looking inside. I wish however that the food was equally impressive. My potato salad was the best part of the meal. I really enjoyed that. Coleslaw tasted like most other coleslaws out there. The turkey had that desired pink smoke ring with was nice, it also had a good flavor, but it was really tough to chew. I really hopped it would have been more moist and tender. The service is friendly but slow. There were no one in line yet it still took quite a bit to get our food.

I was visiting my besties in Georgetown and they wouldn't let me visit without feeding me as well…read more We decided to get takeout BBQ and this was their local spot close to their house. I was excited to try it because we all know, the Hill Country has some of the best BBQ in the state. The restaurant itself sits in a huge shopping complex and can easily be missed if you're not paying attention. The restaurant is counter service and not too big. It seemed like they did more pick up orders than actual people dining in. They have quite a few locations scattered around Texas so they must be doing something right. My friend did the pick up so I can't speak on the customer service. My friend ordered a smaller family pack which was a perfect amount of food for the amount of people eating. It came with 2 pounds of up to 3 meats and 3 pints of sides. It also came with all the fixins' like bread, sauce, onion and pickles. We got brisket, sausage and pork ribs along with mac & cheese, green beans and potato salad. The meal was not bad by any means, but it's not that top tier BBQ you come to expect in Texas. It's more of the backyard cookout BBQ. I've been spoiling myself and checking out the Texas Monthly Top 50 and Michelin star spots recently and this is not that. Respectable 'que though! The brisket didn't have that delicious bark or a prominent smoke ring, but there was flavor. The ribs didn't fall off the bone and these days, everybody is talking about that tenderism. This didn't have that, but again, tasty. The sausage was probably my favorite meat. It was sliced super thing which isn't my favorite kind of slice, but it packed flavor. The sides were ok, nothing to write home about. If you're looking to satisfy a quick BBQ craving, this place can be a great choice for your local neighborhood spot. I wouldn't go out of my way to get back here but would happily come back if in the immediate area.

When I opened the platter I was shocked to see how little meat was in there and the quality of the meat was a bit scrappy. :( I was also disappointed to see that the pint of potato salad that I had paid for was missing a whole scoop off of the top. I was looking forward to having all of the potato salad that I paid for. I'm not sure if it was because it was towards the end of the day or if the quality and service have just declined that much, but I don't think I will be ordering from smoky Mo's again, unfortunately.

Usually, I get the chicken and dumplings. I was celebrating getting a new job so, I got the ribeye. I ordered it medium rare. Unfortunately, the cut wasn't good. It was thin and had thick gristle, throughout. I assumed that I would need salt. I asked for flakey salt. The sweet waitress/bartender, brought me kosher salt in a nice container. The salt helped! However, the steak was too far gone to help. It was closer to medium and, again, the cut was bad. (Note: I didn't complain! I'm sure that if I would have, they would have done anything to correct it!) The positives? The green beans were AMAZING! Still a bit crispy and tasted great! The mashed potato's were good. I ordered an Old Fashioned. It was wonderful! The service couldn't have been better! I love the bar side of Wildfire! The seating can be private or meant for people watching. It's very comfortable! All in all, this is the place to go! The service is always amazing! I didn't enjoy the ribeye but, I'm a steak snob. Wildfire will always be my "go to" spot! Sit in the bar area and you will get the best service! Edit to say that the regular bartender is fantastic! He always has been!

Awful customer service. Especially when making reservations…read more I go here a lot, because I like dry aged steak, but I can't get over the customer service around reservations. As a combat vet, I feel uncomfortable AF eating in the middle of a tiny and cramped dining room. The dining room is so small and packed here that I'm surprised that the fire marshal even allows that many people to be sat in there. Still, when I ask for a booth and say that I don't want to eat in the middle of that tiny dining room when I make a reservation, I find it odd to be sat in the middle of the dining dining room only to see that there's multiple parties that were just sat in booths and haven't even gotten their drinks yet--like, they were just sat before us (and we were on time for our reservation). I think you could have a little more respect for your customers is all. For that reason alone, you're not worth the price of your half-baked pretense in my opinion. You get a one-star for that reason alone. On the quality front, the ribeyes I get are more and more consistently riddled with connective tissue and are hard to eat, with a lot of waste. Not exactly the quality of meat cut one expects for the price. Sometimes they nail it, but I'd say at least a third of the time my ribeyes are almost half scrap. The quality seems to be diminishing since I first started frequenting this place. So, perhaps your supplier sucks. Idk. Pick your meat better if you want to demand higher prices. I think I'll stop coming back at this point. 2020 Market has good steak, too. Only I haven't dealt with so much connective tissue in my steak there. And also, I haven't had issues with my reservations there. So you lose me to your competition after having gotten so much money out of me. Consistent quality and customer service could maintain such consistent regular customers in your sales. What a weird way to lose customers. Your whole business is customer service and cooking food well. Do better.
