Here to update my review! So we went on opening day and of course they are always trying to work out the kinks! With that being said I will say the actual food itself was delicious. I had the two meat plates and I defintely loved the turkey and sausage. If I'm being honest the sausage was the best thing! The potato salad was not my favorite but the cream corn was good! The service was a bit slow but that's not normal for them so I'll give them grace. The atmosphere was so fun! We were excited to be there and so was everyone else. The 2 meat plate comes with 2 sides, bread, pickles and onions. ( they had a coupon if you spent 15$ you got a free banana pudding) def worth it and I believe the coupon is still ongoing. My daughter has the ramen and she said it wasn't as good as expected which I can agree. Total cost for everything was 32$ ( drinks are not included with the meal and cost about 2ish dollars extra!) Definitely want to come back to try out their chili and some other stuff they offer.

We dined in on day 2 of opening. Everything was delicious. Baked potato was fluffy. First time trying the queso and it was delicious. Dining area is a great size. There was a line to order, we didn't mind. We are really happy to have this location near by.

Large brisket sandwich. Inedible fat removed.

The ingredients were all farm fresh. The wrap was full and plentiful. My wife could only eat half. The area we found for improvement would be to offer salsa on the side for the wraps. They do not heavily salt the food, which I think is a good thing. It allows the flavor of the fresh ingredients to shine. However, without salsa, you feel the wrap needs salt. As for the wait time, it was longer than we are accustomed to. This is not a fast food restaurant. This is a quality specialty restaurant. If you plan to visit, understand that your food is being made fresh with fresh, healthy, natural ingredients, not food that has been sitting under heat lamps. It will be worth the wait. Just be sure you plan for it. I will definitely be back. Gotta try the burgers.

My husband enjoyed the PH burger, definitely felt like we were getting our money's worth, which a meal is 18 bucks or so. Caution on add ons/exchanges! The cashier asked what rice I wanted and she told me the options, so I said Ill try the turmeric and didnt think to ask if there was extra cost, but it was a dollar extra.

PROTEINHOUSE - Staff. Not busy at the time we went. Why'd it take up to 15 minutes to deliver? Not a fan.

We started with the Embattan and Zaatar Honey Wings and I was very impressed with their flavor and presentation. I also loved the Arabian Nights mocktail. My family shared the grill platter for 2 and gyro Wrap. The fries and garlic aioli were divine but I didn't try the meat. My dish was their fish stew . It was exceptional. The sauce was flavorful. It was more protein than anything. It had some delicious potato too and baguette . Everything was spectacular and we will be back. Shout out to the lovely owner, the staff, and our server Xavier.

What a beautiful little restaurant on this side of San Antonio! We found the food very well done…read moreand the setting was nicely decorated. Perfect for a date night or lunch. We tried the babganoush appetizer, which is an eggplant dip, served with pita. I wish the pita had more of a crisp or toastiness to them. It was very bready, but still went great with the dip. The eggplant doesn't look appetizing to most, but I love its flavor and it was seasoned nicely with some acidity/brightness to it. For our entrees, we had the falafel plate and a gyro wrap. My gyro wrap was a good serving size, and I opted for no fries/side salad since we had the appetizer. It was a traditional gyro, but I wish there were lettuce and tomato in it to cut the saltiness. I ate the leftover babaganoush with it for balance. The falafel plate was great! It came with 6 large falafels that were very crisp! Everything else in the bowl complimented it nicely. The menu has a lot of other options we'd love to try! We wish we ordered a tea or chai pot to go with our meal, or tried one of their specialty coffee. Next time! The service was great when we came, but it was in the middle of the day so we were the one ones there. Regardless we felt very welcome and looking forward to coming back!

My son had the Athenian burger. He was not impressed at all. It was supposed to be an Angus burger topped with what would normally be on a Gyro. It left him, wishing he had just gone straight for a Gyro instead. He found the meat dry and flavorless. He also wasn't a fan of the feta fries. He said all he tasted was too much salt. I ordered the classic Greek salad. I guess I should have read the ingredients before I trusted this place to make it. It had more Romain lettuce ribs then anything else. I was not expecting any lettuce at all. They need to take the word classic off of it. It was supposed to come with pita bread. It came with those little flat rubbery pieces of tortilla - like pita. I also ordered a spanakopita for us to split. What they served us was a very soggy pastry with almost no filling. Once again, not impressed. There are too many great places to get Greek food in San Antonio. We won't be back to this one.
