I drive the extra mile to this location because the other location gave me a bug in my salad, but I've eaten 10 salads and wraps from this location and all bug free. Nice service and good deals. Favorite is the beet salad and wrap. Tofu is marinated, not breaded and fried, not plain either. Tofu is good for the calcium... Cobb is protein heavy with blue cheese, eggs, and bacon plus the protein you pick. The wraps are so hefty, I can eat half but hardly the whole thing in a sitting. Think chipotle burrito heavy. I usually come here because my wife really likes this place, but after my last experience I won't be returning. On September 13th at around 4 PM, I went to pick up her order through the drive-through window. I didn't even realize there was a window until a female associate abruptly opened the door and told me, "go over there." When I pulled up, there were no other customers around at all, yet she rolled her eyes at me just for using the drive-through. She didn't greet me, was rude in front of my kids, slammed the door, and refused to answer my questions about the order. This was unprofessional and unnecessary. LOL This place was on my "to try" list for the longest time! I had just finished a later than usual session at Hotworx and I was famished! Ironically enough I remembered Salad and Go because when I had arrived to Hotworx the manager was eating the most delicious looking salad and he mentioned he had gotten it at Salad and Go and it's one of his favorite places. The Potranco location opened in early 2024 and although traffic in this area is very busy, it's the closest Salad and Go near me. There are actually several in San Antonio now including the Southside where healthy food options are rare. The drive thru is the only option here, and you get either a salad or wrap. I believe they also have a soup available. I went at around 1pm on a Thursday and was shocked to see how long the drive thru lines were. The cars just kept coming and coming. My experience was about 10-12 minutes in line before receiving my order. The chicken Caesar wrap was quite large and as reviews mentioned, the dressing is made with the wrap so you don't have dressing to dip into or pour on your wrap which I found odd. It was a very good wrap. Very good, but not amazing. I think the reason (or one of them) that this place is so busy is for the value. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a large wrap came out to less than $8 after tax. Now I know why the lines are so long! read more

CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING THE DRIVE THROUGH! I went all the way home to find out my salad was missing its dressing. I try calling the restaurant and no one answers. Called 3 times, no answer. So I go all the way back to the restaurant to get the dressing and they don't even recognize or apologize for their mistake. What's more, is that it almost seems as if they think I'm lying or something. At this point I'm hungry, and angry at the lack of remorse... and I tell the associate that the mistake should be at least apologized or acknowledged. She looks left and right, then says "oh I'm sorry" in a monotone voice. I ask for a second dressing (to see if maybe they'd give me at least SOMETHING for the trouble). She responds "oh that's gonna be extra". I was so mad, I just drove off with my one dressing handed to me on a napkin. I wish this experience hadn't occurred because I was so excited to become a regular customer. This is my second time here and I've already been telling everyone about it because the first time I came the wrap was so good... but now I don't know. I wanted to share this because, one... I'm upset and feel wronged... and two... so that others can anticipate this and not be as taken back as I was. UPDATE: I'm updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Since this last incident, I reached out to the company via email; they apologized extensively and sincerely, and they gave me a small gift card for my troubles. I shouldn't have applied the bad behavior of one employee to the entire restaurant, but I was angry and I did. Since then, I've come back 3 times. One of those 3 times the dried cheese was missing from my burrito, but it was still tasty and not a big deal. The other two times were perfect. The workers were kind, quick, and my food came out delicious. What's more is that even when I add double protein, the price is STILL under $10! I had a very horrible experience today with this place. I pass this place every day and it just opened and I thought it would be nice to have a fresh salad after my workout so I pulled in salad and go. The drive through was quick, but when I got my salad it was missing a fork. I asked the lady working there if I can have a fork and knife to which she rudely told me "you have a fork we don't give knives". I told her there is no fork in my bag. fist and last time we go this location :) my sister and i were at a different restaurant, where you drive up to window and place your order, before coming here so she accidentally drives up to the window to order. The girl working already looked like she didn't want to work and said we could just use the mobile order window to place our order. My sister got the thai wrap with extra carrots and chicken because they were allegedly out of cucumbers and I got the roasted autumn wrap with extra brussels sprouts and tofu, i'm trying to be a pescatarian, no sweet potatoes in mine cause they're also out of those, allegedly. By the time we got home and looked at the food we realized that no only was my wrap drenched in sauce while hers was on the side the workers decided to be vindictive and petty by putting extra chicken in my food all because of a small mistake that we made i wouldn't even call it a mixup because it wasn't she asked what protein i wanted and i said tofu yet she wrung the order up as chicken...had to pick it all out which was useless since the food doesn't even taste that good. Mind you while all this was happening they didn't have anyone else come in to order after us so that definitely tells you a little something about this location we both work in food so we get it but if you're going to act like that for one small mishap you shouldn't be working in the food industry period!
