This means the filters were never actually filtering water from the time the system was installed. Leaving the filters wrapped completely defeats the purpose of the RO system and potentially exposes to untreated water while giving a false sense of safety. This is a serious installation error. Most customers would never think to open the housings to check, so this could easily go unnoticed until time for replacement. I have photo documentation clearly showing the filters still wrapped in plastic inside the housings. And Awni, I know what I am talking about.

First, a few years ago, when we had moved to Pleasanton, we were shocked with the quality of water. We learned that we get hard water here but the worst part was the weird taste of the water. We reached out to a few vendors. Adli responded quickly, set up an appointment and showed up at our door. Adli did not try to sell us. Instead, he informed us of our choices. He made his recommendations. He explained patiently why his recommendations are good. After Adli left, we did our research and turns out he was right about every recommendation. The shocking part though was that Adli's pricing was reasonable compared to other vendors. We installed a water softener that does good work. Unfortunately, recently, the flow of water reduced so much that there was minimal to no flow of water. We had reached out to a few vendors ands hockingly, some of the vendors suggested replacing the whole unit, which didn't make sense to us, not to mention the ridiculously high cost. Then, we remembered Adli. And he came to our rescue again. He said he would send Steve the next day. Steve came to our home, inspected and immediately identified the issue. Steve suggested a solution, went back and talked Adli about it. Adli gave a pricing for the job that was customer friendly compared to other vendors. Adli's guys arrived, replaced the tank in a few minutes instead of just replacing the resin, charged us a low price and left. The water softener unit is back to working normally. It's always so overwhelming trying to decide which company to trust for these things. It was so frustrating even getting a quote for other companies, they all required an in home visit first and it just took too long to even get an appointment. But Trevor was able to give me a quote after I gave him all the information he needed over the phone. He still came by for an in-home consultation to confirm everything, and we scheduled the install for that same week on Saturday. It's impressive that Trevor does everything by himself, from the calls, in home visits, to the installation for both plumping and electrical! That's probably how he's able to keep the costs down, while other companies have to pay so many different people. He also offers a few other discounts, such as referral, military, first responder, etc. I love that it's just one person I talk to vs other companies where there's too many different people to handle different things and how hard it is to get a hold of anyone. Trevor is great with his communication, he has always picked up every phone call. Although there are some times when the call doesn't go through for some reason, might be due to no reception in some areas. Trevor was able to explain everything in detail and explained how the Clack system is super efficient and one of the best. I can confirm he's correct after doing my own research. He even provided the concrete slab that the water softener has to sit on. He installed the sewer drain line and an outdoor electrical receptacle. So far, everything is working great. I wish we installed the water softener system sooner. I still get water spots on chrome, but it's easy to wipe off. Probably other kids of residue and not minerals anymore. My hair and skin feel so much better. Also, I was concerned about watering my many houseplants with the softened water since there's now salt in the water, but Trevor reassured that the sodium amount is super minimal and won't harm my plants. Our water is night and day better than it was before. I can drink from the tap with no mineral taste. I can wash my hands without a gallon of soap. I can rest easy knowing my home's plumbing is better protected. The price of the full install was very reasonable and Trevor made scheduling easy. From start to finish Trevor was super helpful and easy to work with. He made an initial consult visit to make sure he knew the house layout and all the materials he would need for the install, and then came out a couple of weeks later to install the unit. One thing I liked is that he is also a licensed electrician, and was able to pull wire directly for the unit and he even installed a new, unused outdoor outlet near the unit solely for our convenience and use. This shows an attention to detail and quality that I really appreciated. The install went smoothly and Trevor gave us a nearly one hour long in-person training on all the things we need to know about owning the water softener. He allowed us to record the video which gave us a ton of peace of mind. Within the same day our water was vastly improved.
