We arrived around 1:00 p.m. My daughter and I always enjoy ordering the fried green tomatoes and crab claws. We originally planned to order two individual servings of crab claws, but our waiter suggested that we order a pound instead because we would get more for our money. She was absolutely right! I was really surprised by the amount of crab claws we received. They were a little pricey, but everything is expensive these days, and most importantly, they were excellent and we received plenty! There were so many that the two of us couldn't finish them, so my daughter was able to take the rest home to enjoy later. The crab claws were cooked to perfection--crispy, flavorful, and delicious. The fried green tomatoes were just as good. They tasted like fried green tomatoes are supposed to taste! We even had some of those left over. My wife ordered the grilled white fish, greens, mashed potatoes, and other sides, and I could tell just by looking at her plate and watching her enjoy her meal that she was very pleased with everything. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, and I especially appreciated him recommending the pound of crab claws instead of simply allowing us to order two separate servings. That was good customer service. I very seldom give a restaurant a full five-star rating, but based on this visit, The Wharf Casual Seafood - EastChase gets 5+ stars from me! My daughter lives in Montgomery, while my wife and I live in Demopolis, Alabama. Before we left, I told my daughter, "I can't wait to come back!"
