I've been frequenting this place ever since new owners took over. The meals are far better than any convenience foods I've ever had, and nachos are not to be forgotten with any of the meals. My new favorite restaurant in Leesburg! We had two pulled pork platters, pulled pork sandwich and the Reuben and everything was excellent. The platters come with two sides and corn bread, the potato salad with fresh dill, Mac & cheese with jalapeños and ginger carrots were all excellent and made with the freshest ingredients. There was so many great items on the menu I can't wait to go back and try them along with the soups and desserts which all sounded so good! Great selection of beers with tastings offered to us with outstanding and friendly service in a relaxed setting. Will definitely be returning, highly recommend! read more

OK - in fairness I went to see a show, and I don't know what their typical service/food/drinks are like; and I really do hate to give a review that is low for a place in downtown Leesburg because... well... I love my little town. But as Washington said, "I can not tell a lie". First what's good: Casual cool, almost throw back to a western saloon type atmosphere. I like it! Seeing a show there, the place was packed (though it didn't feel too crowded). It's a very intimate (read: small, cozy) place to hang out or see a show. I may be back for some kind of entertainment. It's awesome that they are working with the production company and doing shows. I love it when local businesses support one another. The service was good. Friendly, happy.. and pretty attentive, too! I thought they handled the serving & clean up flawlessly (everyone ate at the exact same time... if you're in food service you know how hard that is!). And then some less good.... I appreciated that there were appetizers (cheese, crackers, fruits and veggies - nothing too fancy) when we arrived (because I was STARVING, and dinner didn't come until intermission). Appetizers were good. I wish I had gotten the name of the tiny little peppers I was convinced to try. They were like a berry and a pepper had a baby. Oddly yummy. I hear dessert was good too, though I didn't try any. It was small... had hubby been there he would have complained. Dinner...Dinner was the big problemo. They were serving only 3 meals. I had the chicken salad. It was edible. It tasted like smoked chicken, and I just didn't care for the recipe. There was a bean salad side which I didn't eat, and shredded carrots that I thought tasted lemony by my neighbor said it was ginger. Whatever. It was edible and I was starving, but that was about it. The gumbo was apparently the worst option... one person couldn't eat, the others all said it wasn't what they were expecting, and they were hungry so they'd eat it. The pulled pork which a few people had was apparently good. If you like pork...I don't, so that wasn't much help for me. I will give them kudos because when the one lady said she didn't care for the gumbo, the server promptly offered an alternate dish without any hesitation. She declined but that isn't the restaurant's fault. Lastly, I had one drink - hard cider. It was good. It was big. But it was EXPENSIVE. $16 for one bottle. So, all in all, I won't be back for the drinks or food. I guess that means if I find myself there it will be for another show. (Shrug) read more

I loved the atmosphere and the food! We stopped here on the way to Hagerstown after my daughter and son-in-law picked me up at Dulles. My meat-eating son-in-law had the bratwurst, and vegetarian me had the kale salad and vegan gumbo - it was amazing! Daughter loved the cheesecake for desert. We are from out of state and in town for a wedding. Yelp reviews led us here and did not disappoint! Simple and clean menu. Their unique cooking style for their meats resulted if a flavorful and moist pork sandwich. The grilled cheese pork sandwich was a delicious twist on a classic dish. We happened upon this place for a lunch date and it did not disappoint. The service was great, the food was tasty and we had the opportunity to meet the owner. I had a salad with pulled pork on top. The room is spacious with comfortable wooden chairs and tables. As vegetarians we had several choices. One diner had delicious chick pea gumbo which was a generous portion served with quinoa. Delicious tomato sauce. The other diner enjoyed the kale salad with some barbeque shrimp added. Water is served in mason jars. They serve coffee (or decaf) made to order in french press pots. Check the days and hours of service before going. It's not open daily now but this could change quickly. read more

Food was great. Service was horrible. It wasn't that our server was bad but that apparently there weren't enough servers. Ours told us how busy the kitchen was and we were prepared for a wait, however our food came out in a reasonable time. Problem was our server never came back. I had to go to the bar to request our check and then had to go back to the bar to pay even though our server gave me our check at the bar. I guess she forgot about us again and never came back to our table to pickup payment. Hopefully you can take this review as advice to get more servers. read more

What a great place. My wife and I were at the outlet shops and wanted to try some BBQ in the area. The food was amazing and the owner came out and talked us for about 10 mins. The wife had the grilled cheese with pulled bbq and I had the bbq platter. The grill cheese with bbq was awesome. I had mentioned we were out for my wife's bday and before we left he brought out a mini cheesecakes with a candle. I'm not from Leesburg, but we will definitely be going back. read more

Trungos was great! It's more of a sit down BBQ place and you can smell them smoking meat as you walk down the street. Plenty of seating and great staff. The food itself is great. Their Mac and cheese with candied jalapeños was ridiculously good! Their meats were all awesome. I will say portions were a little small for the price, so be sure to get sides or an app, but I'd definitely go back! read more

If you are even considering it... GO. This place is amazing. My brother had the pork chop and I had the Short ribs. They were both juicy, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. But it didn't stop there. This is a place that cooks with love. The sides were just as amazing as the mains. You can taste the quality and time put into these dishes. My husband and I found ourselves in Leesburg on Saturday night looking for a new restaurant to try. I always go to Yelp -- and LBC had an average of 5 stars -- so I thought "why not? Let's give it a try!" We entered through the back (just because of where we were parked) and it felt like we were entering a frat house. There were about 12 people (early 20s) sitting in a circle drinking beer (really with no table, they looked like they were "hanging out"). The only other occupied table in the restaurant was 6 people for a birthday party. We couldn't find a hostess to seat us -- and finally someone waved to us from the bar and told us to pick a table. The menu is mostly smoked meats -- which is fine and what we expected. My husband has a smoker and likes to smoke something 1-2x a month, so I know how delicious smoked meat can be. Their smoked meat was very good -- but not life changing (as one reviewer wrote) and not any better than what my husband smokes at home. I got the pulled pork and grilled cheese -- it was good. My husband got the tri-tip meat sandwich -- he said it was okay. The side of smoked sweet potatoes was very very good. The mac n cheese was eh. Oh, we had an app of hummus and naan & veggies. It was just okay. I know this is a beer place. I don't drink beer, but my husband does. He was not overly impressed by the beers. I had a glass of wine. It was okay. Oh -- once the 20 something group cleared out, it felt more like a restaurant and not the basement of frat house. We may be back. But maybe not read more

I came here on a whim while visiting family last weekend. I don't really love beer, but I read the reviews and was hungry for dinner. I had some wine and set up shop at the bar solo. The bartender was very familiar and comfortable with the menu...you can tell she is a local and loves the place. I ordered a half Ceaser salad and a half of their special, the Reuban. No complaints. Everything was fresh, real, and delicious. The owner was beyond accommodating and kind. It was very obvious thay he was proud of his place and loves what he does. It's not a big bar area, so families and larger groups will work for sure! I had the advantage of sampling some food, and it was ALL so...freakin...good. Go! read more

Love the short rib platter and the piquante sides. Teenager loved the chili and the 11 yr old didn't think the 30-day aged beef burger was good. She thought it was GREAT! We started with the charcuterie a great way to peak your appetite. We also started with the Cajun bbq shrimp and they were tremendous and its sauce a piquante delight. If you can catch them when their open, and are visiting a few places on First Friday, you may want to throw this one on your list just to have another place to go. For being a brewing company, I've never seen any of their beers listed. What they do offer are craft beers, but nothing out of the ordinary or anything you couldn't find on another 30 beers lists around the area. Not and overwhelming amount of selection either. Food was good, as most smoked meat tends to be. Pricey and it won't blow you away, but not bad, Atmosphere (or lack there of) is blah. It's a big room with tables... everything is clean, but you just don't that special old town vibe you get from the rest of the downtown. Location wise is phenomenal, and there could be a lot of potential here... but right now it's just not on par with what it should be. read more

Surprise - you CAN get the highest quality food at a reasonable price in a place where you can hear yourself talk. These guys do the foodie work for you, sourcing great meats, wines, beers, and core ingredients. The short ribs, pork chop, and pulled pork are fabulous. The bacon-wrapped dates - Good Lord! And they have different, interesting, tasty sides, like smoked sweet potatoes and colcannon. I love the fact that an unassuming, neighborhood place can have such high quality. Decent selection of beer and wine. The food was very good but not worth the wait. It shouldn't take over 40 minutes to bring out a burger and a pulled pork sandwich. The waiter apologized and said that the kitchen was backed up because a large group had come in right before us but it was only a table of 11 and 3 of them didn't order food. I don't know how this place can stay in business if their kitchen can't handle a group of 8 without backing up all other orders. Accidently found this rare gem while exploring historic Leesburg one beautiful early fall afternoon. The food was incredible (turns out they only smoke three days a week and the wait is worth the salivating!!!)...We enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and jalapeno corn bread which was unreal (uses a candied pepper so the spice isn't intense at all) and then about fell off our chairs after tasting the delectable desserts (ale infused cheesecake so creamy it melts in your mouth, creme brule with a perfect sugar crackle top and a delicious spin on the tiramisu classic). And as if that wasn't enough, we couldn't believe it when the Owner himself came and sat with us to talk cooking, knives (he even,showed his faavorite piece!) and life. He made us feel like family. The wait staff is so friendly, warm and very attentive, the decor rustic and comfortable and local artists' work hangs on the walls (we took one home to add to our own collection and commemorate our incredible visit!) taking you back to a time gone before when neighbors were friends and time wasn't just a rat race. Absolutely, hands down, one of our favorite and most treasured experiences in this area. Always good food. If you liked meats/ veggies smoked try out this place. The falafal is yummy as is the smoked sweet potato. The chicken salad has a nice smoky flavor as well as a tart essence from the cranberries. It is a nice and light option. Not too filling. We happened upon this location by accident, parked in the garage to go to tally ho for a concert and ended up coming out the back door and saw a little chalkboard sign saying it was A brewing company, I immediately yelped it and saw that the reviews were great. So glad that we went in! Once we found our way to the front, the Decour was charming, the staff was extremely welcoming and I automatically got a great vibe! Didn't hurt that the windows look out on the main street and it was snowing, so beautiful. Our waitress Sam was very knowledgeable about the beer and the food, we tried the Porty City Optimal Whit, it was incredible, light and fruity, super refreshing! We Also tried the shrimp appetizer and the pork barbecue nachos, incredible! I'm fairly new to being gluten-free and Sam advised me on things from the menu that would work for me, I decided on the bean soup with kale and a Fried egg on top, the best soup I've ever had, and Lord knows how they made the egg that perfect but it was so good. The hubby had the gumbo and loved it and our best friend had the homemade pasta that made me wish I wasn't gluten-free! After our lovely meal the owner came out and took time to chat with us, he was just the nicest person and made us feel like we were friends not just customers.
