Upon joining, I was an unhealthy 357 pounds, had low self-confidence, a negative body-image, and, at 31 years old, had already begun feeling the physical effects carrying that much unhealthy weight had on my body including joint and back pain, elevated blood pressure, and sleep apnea. Since then, I have lost 90 pounds, greatly increased my strength and energy, and gained self-confidence along with a more positive body image. I know, kind of corny but as of today, I have kept off my weight loss of 50 lbs for one year (and counting). Man o man what I've learned in this time...again I can really say this has changed my life and all around me. This time for the better :-). I kept up my initial routine; my 3x weekly personal training and nutrition counseling with Dan plus cardio on my own. Dan really helps me stay or get back on track. One year later and I'm still journaling - crazy like that. Not only have I lost and kept off my weight but I'm stronger and more confident too. I can do things now that just amaze me; would have been very difficult a year ago. I have met so many wonderful people working out at Body Solutions. We are all working towards achieving and maintaining good health. I love it there and look forward to each session. No matter what the day was like or your weigh in delivers, it's a fun, supportive, non-judgemental place. They hold me accountable, help me and the results show. The workout ...... first off Sandler is baddass! I loved how motivating and no nonsense she is. She pushes you and challenges you with every block. She's also very personable and fun! Everyone is moving at there own pace but it still felt very competitive which I loved. I'll definitely be coming back. It's a good balance of cardio and weights. We moved every 6 mins and the floor block was lower body and abs which I loved. Everything is monitored via HRM - giving you this cool stat report after.

Everything is monitored by a heart monitor and is displayed onto a big screen along with the other participants. That honestly helped me stay motivated and on track with everyone else and made me feel a little competitive too (hehe). The lady at the front desk was also so helpful and welcoming - I forgot my instructor's name but man she was so energetic and so encouraging! She calls and praises everyone out by their name which makes it feel a bit more personal. She kicked my butt so hard, but it was so satisfying. After an hour of HIIT training, I lost 700 calories. We put him through multiple PT sessions, but he would get hurt again. Finally a friend of mine recommended Alton. We did a trial session for an hour and my 16 year old came out saying this was the best hour he spend working out ever. Alton had not only provided physical adjustment and plan on how my son should work out, but he also offered a mental adjustment and attitude on how to perceive his participation in the sport that he loved. Throughout the months of work my son has been looking forward to every session with Alton because it not only aligns him to make his body feel safe and secure, but mentaly he is prepared to tackle another week of work. My older son who is in military also, had one session with Alton and said it was life-changing. He said that whenever he has an opportunity to be in Atlanta, he would love to meet with him and work out with him just to make sure his body is recovered from the stress of training. I think Alton is an amazing person and amazing trainer. I could not wanna come anymore although being selfish as I am, I wish we could just keep them for us else so we don't run into a conflict of scheduling the training with him.
