My refrigerator was not cooling. I called several appliances repair shops but my call went into their voice mail. I called Trusty Appliance Repair and left a message. I was stressing out because my husband just passed away last Friday and his funeral is tomorrow, Saturday. Out of state relatives and out of town friends are coming to our house and having no refrigerator added insult to the injury. After few minutes, Lisa, the owner, called me. She said they are fully booked and the early schedule is Monday. After explaining to her the situation, (i don't know how she adjusted their schedules) she said somebody (that would be Pett, her husband) will be at my house today. To make the story short, my refrigerator is working again after Pett put a new "relay". And to top of it all he WAIVED the labor fee! I just paid the part. Lisa and her husband are wonderful and professional. Much cheaper than calling Whirlpool (in my case after warranty has expired.) My LED light went out on my fridge which also controls the lower light as well as the freezer light. Lisa did the research and her husband came out and showed me where to order the light as well as how to exactly install when I receive to save me additional money. Not many places/people would do that for you. They could have ordered it for me and taken my initial service fee off of the second visit for install but they did not. They chose to save my household money! I am awaiting the LED light as we speak... Very happy with how they do business so far. Light expected to arrive Dec. 4th. Peete and Lisa own the business. They are very thorough with all the repairs they have done for me,, they also call back to make sure any repairs they did are running good, etc. they are on time, and start right away,. Very professional and caring. I first met Peete because my home warranty company sent him out to repair my dishwasher. That appliance broke due to my negligence, but he found the motor had a old leak, so he got my warranty company to pay me sa little something instead of a total loss, which wasnt easy! I really appreciated that i had some help buying another dishwasher. They are very honest, fair pricing, caring people and I recommend them highly. These guys are great!! They came out in less than 24 hours and went above and beyond to fix my washer. I had 3 companies out before them and they all left saying it was fixed. However, after they left and I did a load of laundry it's still made that saying loud rattling noise every time the spin cycle came on. Christie Appliance was the only one that took the shell off the washer exposing the drum to correctly fix the problem. I will definitely call this company back in the future. I sought trusty appliance repair when my refrigerator stopped cooling. I checked it out before I called and could see my evaporator fan was running good but my compressor wasn't turnning on. Pretty had a busy day but he came even after hours because it was my refrigerator and they didn't want my food to go bad. They didn't charge any extra even though it was 7pm when he arrived. Wow!!! Within a couple of days (parts had to be ordered) our dishwasher was up and running. They took great care to protect our floors and counters while working.
