This happened a couple months ago and this is long overdue. I was across the street at America's Tire to get a replacement spare tire for my old school S10 Blazer. The service rep at America's Tire was not able to remove my current spare tire and so, I went across the street to my mechanic at Advanced Auto. When I got there, I found out that they are no longer in business. The current owner was busy and so I waited. I couldn't wait any longer and so I went a couple doors down to TS Classics and met Tim. I explained to Tim the situation with my spare tire. He willingly checked it out and found that there was a lock on it. I realized that my Dad must have put that lock on there a long time ago and I didn't have a key for it. Tim went to get a steel cutter and he tried to cut the lock off. It was tough because of the lack of clearance and position the lock was in. Luckily, his business partner (I'm sorry, I forgot his name) arrived and was able to cut out the lock using some sort of electric metal cutting saw. They didn't charge me at all. I did pay them what I had on hand (I insisted) to show my appreciation and to support their business. They helped me out a lot, more than they know. Because of their kindness, I was able to get my spare tire replaced. If my Blazer needs any repairs in the future, it's great to know that I can call Tim. read more

I dropped off my valve cover and inlet manifold to be painted and installed in my car but after three weeks of waiting just to get it painted I got frustrated and went to pick it up. I was completely disappointed to see this kind of work on the valve covers and charge me over $500. I took it to another shop and they could not stop laughing when they saw the quality of work and to be honest I think my teenager could've done better. I'm just glad I decided not to get more work than this done and got out in time. It's people like this that give the industry a bad name. read more

Found TS Classics on Yelp and decided to give them a shot at fixing my oil leak to my 1969 Mercury Cougar . Worst mistake I ever made. $2800 and 2 trips back and forth to them my car still leaking oil . Smh they need to retire over there because they work to slow , and charge you for everything. They charge me $80 to go pick up a part !!! Who does that ??? No car shop EVER has charge me to pick up a part !! Please stay away from this classic car Auto Shop !! Beware !! Tim Sullivan took advantage of my wife, took his sweet time and never communicated progress on anything she asked to be done. This guy and his business are a joke. They lost her air filter and oil cap....said she brought the car in without them. What work he ended up doing was horrible and it needs to be fixed. He will not answer nor return any calls either. My wife loves her 72 Monte, it's her baby, but she's furious!!!!! Mr. Sullivan should step up and and remedy this horrific experience my Wife had with his business. read more

He's very welcoming, down to earth, and he definitely knows what he's doing. I took my 1972 Monte Carlo to Tim Sullivan in September of 2022. He was referred to me as someone who knows how to work on older cars. The main reason I took my car was to have the air conditioner fixed, it also badly needed tires and an alignment, the stem that holds the review needed to be replaced (I had the part), I could not get the passenger side view mirror to tighten. Tim said he had to take the door apart to tighten the mirror. I said fine. I also said I wasn't in a hurry for the car, just wanted the work done and done right. I also requested to have my car garaged while it was there. I called weekly to check in and see how things were progressing. After 3+ weeks he said my car was ready to pick up. When I got there my car was outside and was pretty dirty considered it was garaged. The first thing Tim said is "we have a problem". He took me to my car, raised the hood and said I brought him the car without an air filter or oil cap. Total lie, I don't know a lot about cars, which is why I contacted TS Classics. But I do know that I took it to him with both those items. If there was no oil cap, there would have been oil all over the inside of the hood and engine, there was no oil. Long story short, he just happened to have an air filter (just like mine) that he would let me have, as he had a lot of filters sitting around, he said. However, I had to use electrical tape to cover the spot where my oil plug was. He charged me $160.00 to fix both mirrors. He also charged me $110.00 to change my oil (not on my list). He did not fix my air conditioner because he said it would cost to much money, however, he never called me to discuss. He did not get new tires, therefore no need for an alignment. He gave me a piece of paper with tires he thought I should get. He told me to order them, have them delivered to him and he would install them? I thought that is what I was paying him to do. So it was a hot day when I picked up my Monte Carlo, so since I had no air conditioner....Thanx to Tim...I opened the passenger window until I got onto the freeway. I put the window up and low and behold the passenger window was all out of alignment, the window was not on the tract at all. Got home and found that the passenger door had not been put back anywhere close to the way it was when I took it to TS CLASSICS. I could slide my hand right down into the middle of the door. I addition, as I'm driving home I feel something crawling all over my legs, as it turns out I have thousands of ants living in my car. I called Tim Sullivan, to address these issues and see when I could bring the car back to get the door put back the way he found it. I called him many times, He never picked up or returned any of my calls. On top of everything else I paid him cash, he did not have change so he still owes me $33.28. I will be revisiting TS Classics to hope that he will be an honest man and fix the things he screwed up. And maybe by then he will find my oil plug, as I have not been able to find the correct plug yet. read more

Logan is to simply put, freaking amazing!!!! My truck battery died, called Logan to help me put it in. He stayed at the shop, and put my battery in for me. Not only did he put the battery in,he tested the truck out, checked everything, made sure it was secure in the right spot, and he showed me how to replace the battery. Just in case it ever happens again. Logan has worked on my truck before and I will keep on coming to him if anything else happens to my truck. I also referred my boyfriend to him. My boyfriend has since taken his vehicle to Logan 2 times now. Logan is very approachable and has an amazing personality. He knows what he is talking about and clearly loves his job. Seeing his dog Troque is also a plus when i go to the shop. And the best part of all this, his services are all reasonably priced! read more

I have taken my truck there multiple times hoping to stop it from leaking and every time, they pivot the conversation on what to work on and end up not fixing the issue and making something new leak. This shop is busy for a reason: They are everything an automotive/mechanic/repair shop should be. Logan and his team are honest, reliable, qualified, well-trained, professional and understanding! (Easy on the eyes is also a bonus! ) My stepdad's 1940 Ford had several minor issues such as a heater & a/c that were installed but never completed so they were not functioning; an e-brake that did not function; a speedometer that did not work; missing wiper arm; few rattles here and there. The major issues were it was overheating and It also had a suspension that made it a not-so-pleasant ride. I had it towed in to TS Classics and Logan went down my list, checking each issue off one by one. I knew he had a busy schedule but he accepted the job with no appointment and with open arms. I am thankful to be so lucky to have such a trustworthy tech; it's not easy to know (being a female) when you are getting fed a load of BS by people in the automotive field! Took my car to him this morning w/ needing both front axles replaced & picked it up this afternoon with it purrrring like a kitten (more like a tiger). I was so pleasantly surprised by how humble everyone was despite being one of the BEST places to take a car to be repaired. Usually with success comes attitude - not here. Logan and his crew are awesome, down to earth, honest, and perfectionists. I didn't feel like I was getting the runaround for even one minute. My car is running like a dream and I have found the only place I'll take it to from now on. I was going to Mt. Diablo to go on a hiking trip, when my engine overheated and stopped running. Turns out there was a leak in the cooling system somewhere. We stopped by one of the other auto shops in the area and it cost 130 dollars, just for the first hour of inspection. We thought we could get a better deal, but all the shops were closing for the weekend so we decided to look for another place to take the car on Monday. I saw TS classics on Yelp, and it had all five stars, so I decided to come check it out. I came in and Logan diagnosed where the leak was for no charge. It turned out that one of the screws was loose, so we didn't have to replace any parts. So basically he fixed my car for free and saved me a bunch of money! I have been going to Logan for my automotive needs for the past few years and I can honestly say, you are not going to find a more honest and fair dealing person. I actually went to another auto shop once to and they told me I needed to get new breaks. I called Logan because I wanted him to do the job, when he took a look he laughed and said I didn't need new breaks for a while. He just saved me $200 + on the spot by not having to get that done. I spoke with a gentle man named Wogan, or Logan, I forget which it was, but I could clearly understand him even with his thick accent. He explained EVERYTHING clearly like sparkling water (lime flavor). Although my repair bill was expensive due to my neglect, I left Smiling . I had to have all of my brakes replaced, my thai ming belt, and also my radiator. When I went into the shop I was greeted kindly and I almost had a panic attack because i knew it was going to be expensive. Seneca( Shop Manager) offered me candy and walked me through it making complete cents. when i looked to my right i noticed a dog, this dog was so nice and i just wish i could have taken him home, but his paw was hurt :( . Another employee was a tall bald guy that was super kind offered me the old parts from the job in a new box to hold them, his same leg as the dog was hurt and i found it to be funny.
