So I've ordered their pad Thai once before and it was delicious! This time I ordered pineapple fried rice with extra vegetables and peanut sauce and the fresh rolls. 1) the delivery was fast 2) the fried rice clearly says shrimp, chicken, and egg. I received no chicken or shrimp in my rice only the egg and some vegetables. 3) also, the rice was very soggy, flavorless, and just not good. 4) the rolls were okay; the rice wraps were under cooked and terribly crunchy. 5) some of the lettuce in the wraps were brown 6) explaining to the lady on the phone what was wrong, she kept arguing with me that I didn't specify that I still wanted the shrimp and chicken in my rice. -_- With all these bad things though, I guess, the manager got on the phone with me and I told her what was wrong, she said that she'd make another one and for me to save the wrong one. She just left with the wrong one and gave me a new one. Even with the manager coming back and correcting the wrong, the kitchen still forgot the chicken. -_- The only reason they got 2 stars was for the speedy delivery driver. It was my first time in Downtown Santa Monica with my husband and we drove by T's Thai and decided to try it out It's such a cute location although very small and only seats 30 max (I counted haha). Anyway, it wasn't busy so we were seated right away. I ordered my go-to Chicken Pad Thai and my husband got Yellow Curry which was reccommended by our waitress. I asked what their level of spiciness was for their Pad Thai and I was suprised that they serve it with no spice at all. I didn't mind though. After ordering, I went to use their restroom and once I got back a couple minutes later, our food was there! Super fast service. Maybe since we ordered popular dishes they already had a huge portion of it made in the kitchen? Having the food out so quickly was a huge plus for me! The Pad Thai was probably one of the best I've had even if it wasn't as spicy as I would like. It was drenched in sauce, the noodles were soft, and it was just amazing! First time coming here with some friends for lunch. We shared the crab fried rice, spicy fried rice, spicy thai noodles, yellow chicken curry, and an order of mint leaves with pork. We all agreed that everything was not bad, but not great either. The only thing everybody enjoyed was the crab fried rice, because it had a good amount of crab meat in it. I have used their services a hand full of times since I have moved here and have never had a bad experience. I recommend trying their mongolian beef, egg rolls and pad thai. While I am not an aficionado on Thai cuisine I have been around the blocks enough times to tell you what is good and what is bad. Sorry! Was really hoping I'd find another thai place in the area but alas was not impressed. We usually order from another place and wanted to try something new in case we were missing out. We ordered delivery and they definitely arrived on time which I appreciate. Their staff were very friendly too. Rundown: Chix pad thai - dry. so dry and lacked any flavor. it was mostly noodles steamed thai dumpling - tons of ground chicken, almost a meatball actually and hardly any wrapper left on it. fried wonton - the tiniest amount of ground meat in this. wish that had used some of the meat from the dumpling. it was just fried wonton yum-woon-sen salad - this was actually pretty good! The noodles had a good punch of flavor tom yum goong - omg sooooo full of sodium! I woke up incredibly puffy this morning and they overdid it with the lemongrass flavor chix fried rice - it was ok but I can make ok fried rice at home Sadly we were incredibly disappointed and will not be ordering again. Their food is so excellent! I thoroughly enjoy their Shrimp Pad Thai. It is delicious! Being a pescatarian, I really appreciate that I can have this entree prepared using shrimp, because ordinarily it is only made with chicken everywhere else. I have never dined inside at T's Thai but I have ordered food here off GrubHub 3 times, and each time the food has been great! I always order the pad see ew and my husband gets the green chicken curry with steamed rice. The pad see ew is delicious, and sometimes I get extra egg for $2. The delivery always comes earlier which is always a nice surprise, and the portions are big. I can always get two meals from one serve. Hoorah! I will continue to order from T's Thai - and if you order on GrubHub, they have a promotion at the moment where you get a free Thai Iced Tea if your order is over $20, so that is a nice addition. Beware of this place. I ordered on DoorDash and nowhere did it say that the curry doesn't come with rice. When it showed up without rice, I double checked the app just to make sure there were no instructions or prompts I missed. So I ended up with curry soup...When i called the restaurant to fix the error they were unapologetic and said I'd have to place another door dash order to get more rice. I really wanted to like this place because my coworkers go here all the time. But my lunch was a big disappointment. I'm a bit apprehensive toward curry (I'm warming up), so I went with spicy Thai noodles with chicken. I ordered the lunch special; $7.85 seemed like a good deal for a soup, salad and main dish. When I called for pick up, they said my dish would be ready in five minutes. I was impressed by the quick turnaround, but I also wondered why they were able to cook it so quickly. I arrived to a packed restaurant, so that was a good sign. Although I knew in advance and was prepared, it's kind of annoying that they only take credit cards for checks more than $15. Then came the disappointment: There was no soup to be found in the takeout bag. I had already walked back to work, though, so I wasn't going back and I wasn't sure anything would come out of a phone call. The stir fry consisted mainly of congealed (overcooked perhaps) pad thai noodles. There were only a few pieces of chicken, and even fewer pieces of bell pepper and onion that were supposed to be mixed in. The dish was bland. Yes, it was spicy, but it didn't have a lot of flavor. For a stir fry, it was pretty dry, no visible sauce or saute. This also created problems when it came to eat the rice: two dry starches do not go well together. Part of me wants to give it another chance with a different type of dish, but a greater part of me would rather spend my lunch money on something i know I'll like. T's Thai is down the street from the hub's office - So if i'm over in Santa Monica we occasionally wonder over here for a quick lunch. They have killer lunch specials.... we're talking $ 7.35 and you get soup, small salad and steamed rice and their selection of lunch entrees is pretty diverse and large so you will likely find something you would enjoy. The restaurant itself is clean and minimally decorated. Service is fast, friendly and efficient and the food is always really flavorful and yummy. I always get excited when I get the choice of hitting up T's Thai over Wahoo's! Definitely worth checking out if your over your normal Santa Monica lunch routine.... I also know they do deliveries to offices in the area which is a major plus for those days when lunch just seems impossible. read more

The food is middling, a little worse than most Thai places around here. The prices are outrageous, and NOT what the website menu says. This is also the only restaurant that does not provide rice with an entree order of curry. They will likely screw up your order, so make sure to check it closely if you do take out. I hadn't eaten anything for over 5 hours and I get extremely bitchy when I get low blood sugar, which generally kicks in around 3-4 hours after a meal. So I was essentially breathing fire by the time I ordered my delivery. Within 40 minutes, I was happy chowing down on what is now my favorite Thai delivery place. Which is not to say it's amazing Thai food, but it's actually quite good & I can order three separate entrees for less than $25. I'm a pig, what of it? What I like most, though, is that if you order something "extra spicy," they believe you and actually make things kick-ass hot. I dropped by this place with my husband for lunch because we wanted to avoid the overly crowded Promenade. The place is pleasantly decorated and clean. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food here is average at best. I ordered the noodles with egg and chicken, as well as the yellow curry chicken. The upside is I think the service is really trying to be good. Our waiter delivered water when he noticed we were downing our beverages, without us having to ask and politely cleared the dishes. Other reviewers are correct about the chicken being overcooked. I'm not sure if it's from the reheating process or what, but you'll find the meat on the tough side. The noodles weren't bad, but not remarkable and the curry is a little strange. Great for takeout! Last night we came in to the restaurant (as opposed to ordering takeout). The food is solid, the service is incredibly fast, and the price(s) are cheap. The restaurant itself is small, nothing fancy, and uncrowded. That being the case, I would recommend this as a takeout place only. Stick with the comforts of your own place/environment, and enjoy food from T's Thai. Our favorites include the pineapple curry and pad thai. The other curries are tasty as well. We tried the papaya salad last night and asked for it a little bit spicy. Apparently, a little bit spicy means hot (so keep that in mind). I've been here quite a few times for lunch and I always end up going back to the curry. The lunch special comes with a small salad, bowl of soup and a huge thing of rice. The restaurant is not very big so service has always been quick and they are good with water refills. There is a parking garage near by which should give 2 hours free parking Recommended: Green and red curry. I always flip flop between the 2 and cannot decide which I like better. My coworker likes the Green better though. The only issue with the curries is that it feels like all the ingredients were boiled then had the curry sauce poured on top. I cannot believe the staff have the nerve to give me attitude because apparently I was "asking for too much." Let me start off with the waitress attending me didnt let me tell her the condiments I needed kept walking away because she was eating, excuss me but if I go to a restaurant to dine in I expect at least proper attentiveness. That's when I told him this is bad customer service and I didn't have to eat his food I was in complete shock and awe, like this guy thought I was going to be allowed to get yelled out. I told him did he have a problem apparently he did. I have never felt so disrespected in a restaurant. I told him fuck you. I told him I would never be coming back here and he kicked me out.l The star they get is for the food but bad customer service. Well, that was weird... When their delivery guy showed up he sarcastically said "Thanks for the big tip!" I didn't believe I had really heard what I just heard, so I asked "Did you say something about the tip?" and he repeated himself. Sure, it was raining...but I didn't ask him to stand out there in his sopping wet plastic poncho at the open gate. He ought to have walked his little tushy to the door and out of the rain to deliver my order. My friend and I decided to check this place out on Mother's Day due to the fact that there was a 45-minute wait at PF Chang's right around the corner. Plenty of tables were open at T's Thai... we soon discovered why. The service was fast and friendly (seeing as we were the only ones in the entire restaurant!) and our water glasses were refilled practically the second we took a sip. The prices were very fair, ranging from $6.99-14.99 for a dinner entree. We ordered pad thai with beef, green curry with chicken and thai iced teas. So disappointing. The pad thai was orange, greasy and tasteless. It came with a tiny crumbling of peanuts and no limes - what Thai restaurant neglects to serve their noodles with limes?? A small cup of limes were brought out to me when I requested them but that didn't help the taste much. The green curry with chicken was okay, nothing to write home about (but something to write yelp about - pass!). The Thai iced tea was standard (I don't think you can really mess that up) and when we ordered sticky rice with mango for dessert, we were dismayed that the rice came out super hot (it's a dessert, the rice is supposed to be cool and refreshing along with the mango - not scalding hot!). Definitely not worth the $7.99 price tag. The location was excellent and the prices were more than reasonable but T's Thai was a Total letdown in terms of the quality of food. Our disappointing dinner was only $35 (we tipped 20% because the service was good) but next time, we'll wait in line for PF Chang's. I miss Noodle Planet, Sak's, BrewCo, Enzo's, Jose Bernsteins, Lamonica's, Philly West, First Szechuan... etc... I iss those places! Now being in Santa Monica on 3rd St. Promenade, I have to find new places to call 'my regulars'. So today, I was craving Asian food... There's a few places here, most of which are TERRIBLE or too ritzy and fufu (that Buddha place? PF Changs? no thank you). Where's the authentic at? Apparently no where... There isn't even a PANDA EXPRESS in the area. The only thing close to it is a mediocre place further up 3rd st. Walking around during lunch has become somewhat routine, since I don't want to be interrupted during my lunchbreak is I stay in the office during my lunch hour. I noticed this Thai place up on 4th along my walk. Today, I decided to check them out, since ASIAN was on my palette today. Plus, the idea of PAD SE EW sounded REALLY good at the time. Since I don't have a NOODLE PLANET nearby, T's Thai Restaurant will have to suffice. It's not bad at all. The prices are cheap, and they take credit card (minimum $15, so be warned!). It's not on the tier Noodle Planet is on, but it does fulfill that craving. Pad Se Ew w/ Beef, and some Thai Fried Dumplings. The food wasn't bad at all, pretty tasty... The beef could have been better cuts (more tender at least), but it was fine. They have lunch specials served from 11am to 3pm, so if you want a deal, I suggest you visit them during those hours.
