Here's my story: Just moved here in May and had my unit serviced. Guy came back to me with bad news: valve was cracked and would cost 3500 to fix BUT y compressor is also bad which he gave me an estimate of 8500. Needless to say I was sick. It was still working so I figured I'd just let it go until it didn't. I stopped blowing cold air on the saturday! I was calling around getting prices for a new unit. TSC Air/Don was the second call I made. Don quoted me a few prices then proceeded to ask my questions about my unit. Don wasn't convinced (as I was) that the unit was bad. It's only 6 years old. Don says to me "let me come over and see if it just needs freon". I told Don if he wanted to waste his time and come see it to be my guest. Don saw I was remodeling and immediately knew it was the air filter. Don serviced the unit (coils were frozen) and checked the unit. Compressor is fine and no valve crack. Don/TSC Air is THE BEST. Angel was my tech very professional and friendly and knowledgeable let me know what was wrong with my ac. he would let me know what he was doing listening to my concerns. Angel found the problem got in touch with is boss Matt so he could get the part I needed and keep my unit running sweet again Angel definitely has five star service plus. Matt called me let me know they had the part and the cost and would be out the next day to put it in. Don took all the time needed to explain the pros and cons of different sizes. Don was very knowledgeable and not pushing us to the highest priced unit. The install was very clean and efficient. Last summer, we had our air conditioner go out. We have a home warranty so I called to submit a claim. They approved my claim and gave me a company to call. I called the company they referred me to and they said it would take two days for them to be able to come out. Not ok in the middle of an Arizona summer. Jacob and his assistant trainee did a thorough job doing my annual maintenance on my 2 Trane heat pumps last week. Unfortunately Jacob discovered that my smaller unit was not working, but the replacement part was ordered promptly and installed today by another technician who's name I unfortunately do not remember. The cost was exactly what was quoted and all the technicians provided professional grade service. Josh called and let us know exactly when he would be arriving to our home. He arrived, asked a few questions regarding our air conditioning unit and knew exactly where to begin his assessment. Our AC went out at 5pm on a Friday. Don came out Saturday to evaluate. He gave us the news needed a whole HVAC system He gave us options. We decided. He set us up with a portable AC. Monday morning 8 am 3 of his employees were here. Very polite and hustlers. Considering the high temps no complaints. They did a fantastic job. Explained how to use new system. I recently bought a home with three separate AC zones. Decided to replace two of the three older ACs units last winter before they died this summer. Don quoted the best price and did the installs right on schedule at the quoted price. Easy process. My AC went out on a Friday night and I called TSC Air at 5:30pm. They said that Fernando was working Saturday and would call in the morning and let me know what time he would be out to the house. We had TSC air come out to service our air conditioner. If you have a home warranty and not doing maintenance they may not pay for the repairs.. Also while they were here I had them replace my old thermostat with a new state of state-of-the-art Nest thermostat, all programmable with my phone. Now I can make sure my solar panels and thermostat are working together! read more
