I haven't been here in years and the quality appears to have diminished. The service was 4 stars but the food was very subpar. I had the Sesame Chicken Dinner Box. The California rolls were tasteless. It had just a chunk of imitation crab and some avocado; no imitation crab mixed with mayo like other places. The Sesame Chicken itself was very disappointing. It was very oily but soggy on the bottom. One of my friends had the tempura combo appetizer and she also stated it was very oily.

The restaurant is pretty spacious inside and has a bar you can sit at. Came here for lunch and they have a lot of good lunch menu options. Toro sake Nigri: C- Was disappointed with this. The fish was bland and the texture was rubbery. And the sushi rice was not prepared with any seasoning. Kind of what you'd get at a sushi buffet. For $9 it was not worth it at all. Oyakodon: B+ Fortunately I did enjoy this rice bowl with chicken, egg, and broth much more. The chicken bits and scrambled eggs were tender and had a lot of umami flavor from the broth. Pairs perfectly over the rice. The side salad however was bland and watery and the dressing didn't have a notable flavor.

We went to Tsuki for my dear friend's birthday and we had a great time. Service was a tad slow, but the servers were so nice and accommodating. The food was good we had the Karaage for the appetizer (if you have read my other reviews you might notice I love Karaage). It was good crispy all in all very decent! I ordered the Rock and Roll it was good filling. My fiancé order the Five Star and River Cat he thought they were fresh and flavorful! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. And the icing on top of the night the whole restaurant took a sake bomb with us to celebrate our girls birthday!

This visit, the quality felt like it went down. One of the sashimi, tuna had a discolor like a cd disc reflector color that threw me off. Short ribs had a bunch of fatty meat. The sushi was just blah, not sure what happened. They all just tasted the same. Also, if you have 5 or more in your party, please expect an automatic gratuity 18%. It's nice to treat yourself and your loved ones, but I don't recommend bringing kids here if the don't eat a lot. You are practically throwing your money away because age 11 and up will be charged the adult price. And for them to have 4-5 bites of something and that's it, it's pricey. And a 5 year old was 15 dollars, so again if they don't eat a lot don't bring them here. Waitresses don't announce the automatic gratuity either. Server told us that it's stated in the fine print on the menu, which it is, but would be nice if they announce it before taking orders.

What a pleasant experience - sushi spot in mall spot. We ordered the tonkatsu donburi, salmon sashimi, tempura udon- all were delicious. The were kind to make some adjustments/ my neice only wanted broccoli and the instead of a combo sashimi/ we received all salmon. Reasonable price and excellent service. I'd come back here again.

It's decent. The food isn't the best but not the worst. Service was good and attentive. Staff were really friendly with customers so it looks like they have frequent repeat diners. The sushi was just ok. The rolls were plain and didn't have much flavor despite being drenched in sauce. Usually the lion king roll is baked and torched but the salmon was cooked and placed on top instead. I wanted some ramen and ordered the soup with ramen noodles. It wasn't exactly the ramen I was thinking of and the soup was more like udon soup. Great presentation of the dish though. They provide complimentary miso and that was good.

Met up with some family members for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were seated right away. The service here is excellent. They are attentive and friendly. They have extensive options of sushi rolls and food options. We ordered sushi rolls, sashimi, and appetizers to share. I forgot all the names of the sushi rolls. It was good but I prefer sashimi, raw oysters, and appetizers. I would come back and eat here again if in the area.

I've passed Tsuki Sushi numerous times but only came in recently. It's in a strip mall near Panda Express and Loew's. I was craving sushi but didn't want to drive far so I came in at 4:30 on a weeknight. The place was mostly empty but had a huge dining area. I got the California roll, chicken karaage and tempura stuffed mushrooms. The CA rolls looked very basic, but were delicious. I liked that the crab wasn't just the sticks of artificial crab with rice and avocado. Their crab mix was creamy with a slightly sweet taste, maybe from a little cream cheese added in the mix. It satisfied the craving. The chicken karaage itself was good, but the sauce they served it with wasn't the plum sauce I'm used to having with karaage. The stuffed mushroom tempura was the highlight of the meal. I chose to have it stuffed with crab. You have the option of having it with spicy tuna also. It was magnificent! Just the right amount of stuffing and batter so as not to overprower the other ingredients. I saw that they had reasonably priced lunch specials and came a few days after to try it. I got the sesame chicken bento box which came with your choice or CA roll, croquette and gyoza. I went with the CA roll thinking it would be the same as my previous order. It wasn't. It was your typical artificial crab strings, avo and rice. Next time I'll go with the gyoza or croquette. The sesame chicken was breaded thinly sliced breast topped with sesame sauce. It wasn't how I liked my sesame chicken (dark meat tossed in sesame dressing) but it was still very good. For $12.95, it was a good value. Their lunch rice plates and bento boxes were all reasonable priced. I'm glad I took a chance with Tsuki Sushi. I will most definitely be back.

I asked for a seaweed salad.

My order was very simple -- a six-man sushi roll and a seaweed salad -- and it was still wrong. The "seaweed salad" was almost entirely cucumber with barely any seaweed. If I wanted a cucumber salad, I would have ordered one. Really disappointing, especially for such a basic item.

It has been a while since I have been back here. We order the G.I Joe, Black & White, and 6th Man. All of the three items were delicious. I am normally in the downtown Sacramento area for sushi, but this is a good local spot for sushi. The service was good, and they are always alert to make sure you are taken care of. Many of the locals come here. I need to come back to check out the happy hour specials!

Tsuki sushi is a large open restaurant with a beautiful sushi bar along the back wall. I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday while running some errands. There was no wait, which was great because I was HUNGRY! The server quickly dropped off a miso soup, which was a pleasant surprise. It was very delicious with a light flavor. I ordered Jan's Special Roll and it was so so so good. The deep fried eel was delicious. I will definitely be back here.

    Menu

Absolutely delicious! The menu option for rolls is very extensive from hand rolls to specialty rolls. A lot of the rolls come with salmon but if you aren't a fan there are still plenty to choose from. We did the mixed tempura appetizer, edamame, pork fried rice and a variety of rolls. The table service was fantastic with our food coming out very quickly and our waiters being attentive during the entire time. The restaurant has a large seating area at the sushi bar as well as plenty of tables and booths. If you are looking for a fantastic sushi spot give this place a try!

This had the perfect balance of sweetness. It was light and refreshing and balanced the rest of the flavors of the meal. I started with the seaweed salad. It was a solid seaweed salad. Good seasoning and texture. It was a good portion size as well. Melissa and Jonathan had the gyoza. They were stuffed full of meat, but I felt like the seasoning was a little less than and also they were unevenly cooked. I still tried one though because a gyoza is a gyoza. As my main, I had the karamiso ramen with a spicy miso based broth with seasoned ground chicken, veggies and chili threads for an extra kick. I enjoyed this bowl of ramen. It was the perfect level of spice. I am partial to ground meat in ramen, so I liked that this was an option. The veggies were cooked al dente which I appreciated, and the broth was filling and flavorful. The noodles were thin which is my favorite type. Attentive service here. My wife got the Aka Red Tonkotsu ramen, the broth was definitely lighter, and the spice level was abut the same as the one I got. I got the black ramen garlic which came with the usual toppings: roasted pork chashu , corn, green onions, bean sprouts, soft boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and actual fried garlic. The whole garlic cloves were plentiful and so much flavor. The description says fried, but they are so buttery soft, they taste more like they've been roasted or baked in the oven. I will 100/100 always order this ramen. Very flavorful broth. My husband got the chicken ramen, which I tasted, and it too had a flavorful broth. You choose your spicy level. I got medium which was basically mild. The portion and price make this a great deal for a quick dinner in Midtown. I love the late hours and the speed of which our food came out. We ordered the geso (fried squid) and the veggie tempura. I do not recommend the tempura. The batter was thick like carnival onion rings. They need to use panko for breading. The geso was ok, and served with an aioli sauce. Stick with the ramen. No need to waste stomach space on their appetizers. The right half of the restaurant is for Ramen 101, and the other side is for Orchid Thai. You order at the counter and get a number, find a seat. The servers came around and checked on us and helped us with any requests. The nice ambiance from the Thai side carried over to the Ramen side, but both casual.
