Advertised as a deli and market, the "deli" was just a counter with aldi ingredients behind it. We waited for 10 minutes, there was one cashier in the entire establishment who was also the person behind the deli counter. There was quite a language barrier when trying to order, in the middle of making our sandwiches she would leave to go cash customers out. While she was gone the bagel basically lit on fire in the toaster. We got one breakfast sandwich and two deli sandwiches, the egg and breakfast meat were all microwaved. I had asked for a lettuce wrap because I cannot have gluten, she quite literally cut a head of iceberg lettuce in half and put toppings on top. Mind you I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich, and I never even got meat... Literally mayo, tomato, cheese, and pickle. I also noticed she never added the cheese so I had asked for it which is the only reason it made it on there, had I known she did not add turkey I obviously would have reminded her, didn't think that would have been an issue. Had lunch here the other day and it is as good as always. I like the way you can customize your sub or sandwich while you are watching it being made. Everything is super fresh too. Since this is also a convenience store, you can pick your chips and beverages from a huge variety. They have a very well stocked store and some things here you cannot find in the big box supermarkets. There is very little parking and pretty much a take out only shop. Excellent sandwiches from a small mom and pop convenience store. I went in out of curiosity having visited the beach nearby. I was planning to get a beverage and eat elsewhere until I saw the line at the sandwich area. The food was really fresh and the work area was impeccably clean. I ordered Tuna fish on marbled rye bread. They added chopped green onion, lemon, lettuce tomato, black olive and banana peppers. It was fresh without too much mayo. I sat in the parking lot and ate half with a bottle of Clamatto juice. After the beach it was the perfect fare. Next time I'm trying their roast beef with bacon and tomatoes. read more

As of March 2023 Seaside came into new ownership and it is not the same. The stock was old, and the sandwich making station is just plain unhygienic. Gone are the days of freshly made bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches; the girl behind the counter (sans hair-net eek!) literally used a plastic container of pre-made room temperature scrambled egg that had been sitting out for who knows how long! The sandwiches were also poorly wrapped and soggy and they used a microwave to heat them. If they want to be successful in this neighborhood, they need to follow strict rules of hygiene, use fresh foods, improve their stock, be more attentive and friendly to the clientele, and hire folks who are more professional and attentive. It's not hard, just look back at the last owners who handled the place so beautifully. read more

Decided to stop here on our adventure ride north on AIA. Had stopped here about a month ago, and Dennis went in to buy bottled water and get a Lotto ticket. This is a neighborhood deli and convenience store, and I am certain they don't get many non-neighborhood people stopping by. So, they knew I wasn't one of their regulars, and that didn't matter. They were as receptive and sweet as one can be. Natalie, when I asked her about the breakfast sandwiches, responded that she makes them to order, will toast the fresh croissant on the grill, and uses two fresh eggs in each sandwich. And yes, I could substitute any cheese that I wanted. In the time it took me to walk around the store and snap photos, the sandwiches were ready. I asked for sliced tomatoes, after seeing a bunch on the counter in their ripe glory. I paid for my sandwiches and water, and returned to my car parked in their roadside area, and started to feast on those sandwiches like I had not seen food in days. They were delicious! And then Natalie appears and walks to the car, with a plastic container and says "I'm sorry, I forgot the sliced tomatoes, here they are". She noticed SuperSato Bori sitting in the backseat, and asked "oh, let me go back inside and get your dog a treat, you should have told me you had your dog with you." I thanked her profusely, and explained that I had treats for him, and appreciated her concern. For $4., that was one tasty croissant egg, bacon and cheese croissant sandwich. They are not far from the Northern border of Delray Beach, and yes, when I take another ride in that direction, I will definitely return. They had fresh squeezed orange juice, all sorts of homemade soups, and other prepared foods. What a great find.
