I know I don't have much experience when it comes to cars so I went there for a oil change, tire rotation and general inspection since I was hearing a weird noise and they said my car was in perfect shape. But a month later, I discovered my drivers side fender liner has a gaping hole in it and is about to fall apart (very obviously had been an issue for longer than a month). I'm disappointed that this wasn't caught and when I called to ask about why they wouldn't have noticed it while working on my tires, the response is that they don't really "work on body stuff". Like most places you go to you have to know who you are talking to and dealing with. Started off being a real honest and up front place to take your car. Sadly the assistant managers that work there now try to up charge and sell you services that aren't called for. Sad when they are the ones that did the service just a year earlier. What a disgrace to all the honest mechanics out there. I've never felt more disappointed, taken advantage of, and mad when dealing with a "mechanic". Honestly, JULIO should be called a thief instead. Julio is the owner that gives this industry a bad name, took my minivan in with my 3 kids to solve a check engine light problem. Did a diagnostic and was told that the spark plugs and one coil needed to be replaced. Paid $453 and took it home later that day, only for the check engine light to come back on the next day. Took it back, and after looking at the car again, was told that the issue would be covered under warranty if we took it to Dodge. So basically, he did a diagnostic, chose something that he could charge us for that could have something to do with the check engine light, knowing that wasnt the actual issue. He basically changed spark plugs that didnt need to be changed, and then told us to take it to Dodge to actually be fixed. Totally unacceptable. When we called after leaving Dodge, he basically told my husband that he had to make money on us before sending us where the warranty would cover, he tried to act as if he saved us, instead of ripping us off by charging us for a job that didn't need to be done. Had he told us when he did the diagnostic that the issue would be covered by the warranty, we would have paid the diagnostic and gone to Dodge. But he chose to lie to us, to tell us he could fix it by changing the spark plugs and a coil, to charge us, and then to tell us that Dodge will be able to fix the problem. They are to expensive, is the first time that I see I bought a set of tires and need to paid for the installation.

Short story: Running a scam. I thought Tuffy would be trustworthy because it's a chain. Not so. Long story: I brought his car in because some lights were on. Tuffy told me a few different things they were going to do and that it would be about $400. I said great and accepted the work. Three days later even more lights are on. I brough it back and they say he needs a new transmission. I just spent $400 on this transmission with them this week. So. Either they expensively serviced a part that they knew needed to be replaced or because they didn't do everything they said they were going to do they broke the transmission. I wanted to believe it was an honest mistake that could be worked out. When they guys here started telling me the $400 service they did was a gamble with all these long detailed analogies and that they explained that to me (which they did not) I felt they were scam artists. They claimed they told me it was a gamble. Absolutely not. After an hour of going back and forth with these guys, I told them we were going through a lot and it wasn't worth it to argue our points anymore. The manager then played a disgusting line and said to my wife when I left the office maybe I didn't remember them saying it was a gamble because he has so much going on... Terrible way to take advantage of someone at a low point. And then threw an offensive one liner about the hurricane coming when my wife heard when I left earshot again. I have never experienced an auto shop scamming people out of their money like this. The manager continued to try and bargain me into getting the transmission fixed here.. which was more money than the car is worth. They said $1700 on the phone then it was $2600 in person. Terrible people out to make money however they can, not owning up to miscommunications or paying for their mistakes. I'm working to get the message to corporate and the Better Business Bureau so no one else can go through what we went through here. read more

Final price came in $50 over estimate, except they never said it was an estimate. Service was done on an emergency brake, although the odometer magically gained over a mile between drop-off and pickup. Is there any reason to road test an emergency brake? A six or seven inch tear magically appeared in the carpet, the shifter knob was not replaced properly, and the center console was left unsecured. STAY AWAY. read more
