I don't think Tula Bene deserves these low reviews. My husband and I visited last night and while it wasn't perfect, it was quite good. We both started with salads. I got the Caesar and my husband got the Strawberry Burrata. It also came with warm dinner rolls and a whipped garlic herb butter. To be honest, I wasn't super crazy about my Caesar. It was fresh, but there was just way too much cheese on it. My husband really liked his Strawberry Burrata salad though. We each order the Shrimp Ravioli with Grilled Pesto Prawns. It was a generous serving of large ravioli in some sort of rich lemon sauce. The prawns on top were large and perfectly grilled with some really delicious pesto on top. I liked that while the sauce was rich, the ravioli was stuffed with shrimp and not a ton of cheese, so it was a nice balance. It came with some small stalks of asparagus mixed in. My husband ordered a Blue Moon that was on top and was served cold and delicious. Our bill came to $111 before tip. For the quality and amount of food we got, this felt fair. Our server was Uno and she got everything right. At times I felt like she was the only server for the whole dining room. She was really hustling but always had a smile on her face. I do not give five stars because we initially felt a little rushed to order before we were ready, we saw our beer sit at the bar for a lengthy amount of time, and I really wanted black pepper on my salad, but it wasn't offered so I wait to eat it and had to ask the host. He was very sweet with assisting me, but it was also clear that he wasn't sure what to do. Nothing was catastrophic though and everything ended up great. They did seem understaffed. I felt like I saw more managers walking around doing nothing than worker bees who were struggling to keep up. All in all, it was a nice experience and I will return, but I would encourage them to have more service staff and less people not helping. Cheers! read more

They stumbled a touch with our entrees as they lacked flavor overall and my fish tasted just a touch too fishy, but came back with great desserts and drinks. read more

We tried Tula Bene at the casino this weekend, and it was amazing! Such a cute restaurant with upbeat, friendly staff who made the experience even better. We started with the calamari, which was to die for! I've tried a lot of calamari in my time, and this was by far the best. I ordered the 14-layer baked lasagna, and it was absolutely divine. My boyfriend had the braised short ribs with a side of linguine pesto, and everything was cooked to perfection. I tried Tula Bene for the first time last night before a concert at the Tulalip Amphitheater, starting off l liked that you were able to make/edit reservations on open table. All the staff were very friendly, ambience was classy but welcoming and food was delicious! I found the menu reasonably priced for a fancy dinner out in a casino. First they bring you out some warm buns with a beautifully seasoned butter that was very good. We started with their calamari (so delicious we forgot to take a picture) super fresh, very tender and the dipping sauce was perfectly flavorful. For our main course My friend and I decided to share the 16oz Ribeye that came with red potatoes. It was cooked just as we ordered it, love that! We also each added on a side of broccolini (could have shared 1, they give quite a large portion) as well as we shared the mashed potato add on. Server never let our glass go empty (of Diet Coke with a lime). Great meal, friendly staff and lovely ambience. We split the bill and it was $50 each (don't forget to use your players card for 10% off!).Will definitely be going back to try their other menu items, everything looked delicious as it was going by to our neighboring tables. read more

Bruscetta appetizer was delish although be aware they used olives which isn't standard. Fried calamari was amazing and the sauce was to die for. I could leave the fried lasagna though it was one person's favorite appetizer. The piccata was decent but I like a more lemony sauce. The pasta needed just a little more salt but that is easy to fix. My bf wanted to eat at Journeys East, but there was a 2-hour wait, so we came here. I got the Caesar Salad and Calamari. I didn't think that'd be enough food for me, but I was pretty full when I finished it. My bf got the Crusted Chicken Breast Parmesan, and added a side of Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Everything was good, it all hit the spot. My bf also struggled to finish his food; he was pretty full. The mashed potatoes wasn't the best to me, maybe it was the texture, but my bf still really liked it. I was really happy with my choices. The Caesar Salad had the perfect amount of dressing, and the dressing was good. The Calamari had a nicely-seasoned batter, and went very well with the salad. I recently went to Tula Bene. The food was good, but the overall experience was disappointing. Our server seemed friendly at first, but the service quickly declined. The food took a long time to come out, and no one informed us about the delay. Tables that arrived after us were already done eating while we were still waiting, and no one checked in or gave updates. The server was also talking loudly and standing too close to our table. At one point, I felt something from her talking land on my arm, which was very unpleasant. She later explained the delay, but by then my appetite was already gone. read more

This restaurant is inside the Tulalip casino and one that you can actually make reservations. I haven't been to the casino in about a decade. I don't know what my friends and I were thinking to choose the casino for dinner and without reservations. The wait times were 1.5-2 hours long on a Friday evening. This restaurant had the best front desk customer service and the most accurate wait time estimate. The restaurant felt cozy & welcoming even though slots machines lined the views. Our waitress was also amazing. Now the okay part, the food. I dined with three other people and we were not too impressed with any of our entrees. I got the braised ribs and the ribs were little small cuts, or I just got unlucky, but overall I felt like it was braised too long. Tula Bene was one of my favorite restaurants prior to it shutting down due to COVID. They recently re-opened and I have literally been waiting to return for YEARS. It was a little disappointing BUT I find it understandable as they have apparently faced staffing difficulties for a long time until now to be able to start to be up and running again so I want to give them more time to get back to where they were prior to COVID. My husband and I shared a Calamari starter and a 26oz bone in ribeye. The calamari was delicious, a little on the greasy side but the sauce!!!!! The sauce was amazing! It had a little bit of spiciness to it which was a game changer. Recommend!! The steak was cooked to perfection medium rare and tasted amazing. HOWEVER it may have rested almost too ling to the point it did come out a little on the cool side..the marinara pasta that comes as a side was also kind of cool too so I think their timing can be improved on when to serve the dishes. Service was friendly but a bit slow as you can tell the server was a little overwhelmed with the restaurant being at almost full capacity. The menu is significantly reduced compared to pre-covid as well. They no longer serve the delicious black olive flakey fresh baked bread it is now just a plain white bread with some olive oil. It is the same decor and same ambience as before - classy fine-dining paired with jackpot and bonus background music which I love Overall the flavors are still spot on but the timing and overall cohesiveness of service, as well as food selection can be improved. The potatoes were cooked in burnt oil and COVERED in herbs. my food, short ribs, was bland and tasteless, fatty, and the potatoes were gluey. For the price go to McDonald's. We took clients to Tula Bene in Nov of 2025. I had eaten there a few years back and it was good. This last visit, the waitress was really good. Our group ordered, the food showed up cold. The pasta was literally cold to the touch. The steak was also cold. When we complained, they took one steak and reheated it but told us that nothing was cold and it had just come off the grill. (Had it not been for that comment I wouldn't have bothered posting.) I felt embarrassed as we where having dinner with clients. We will choose a different place next year. Too bad. read more

A friend of mine reserved a large table for a birthday party so it wasn't my choice to dine here last night. Earlier in the week I had checked out the reviews and was really disappointed to see so many negative reviews, so my expectations were not high. But I have to say, first of all, everyone was right about one thing, the service was amazing! But so was the food! My husband and I had the ribeye steak, the pesto veggies and split the wedge salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and well seasoned! And their house made blue cheese dressing is fabulous! I really want to give a special shout out to our waitress, she was so kind and patient with many of us playing musical chairs and messing up the order arrangement, she just laughed and rolled with it. We also got a visit from the Chef, which was super special! When it comes to the prices, yes, they are a little higher then a place like Outback, but not by much and the quality was so much better. We wanted to use our rewards points (at Tulalip) to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday! All the restaurants had a long wait, except for Tula Bene and, we soon realized why! The food was terrible! My husband had a $50 rib steak and I had the chicken piccata... His steak was full of gristle! When I mentioned this to our server, she said "sometimes rib steaks are like that!" I wish I took pictures of all the inedible, chewed up pieces that my husband left on the wooden, serving board! My 2 slices of chicken breasts came with greasy pasta and tasteless piccata sauce! One slice was so rubbery, I couldn't cut it, let alone, eat it! Next time, we will know better and wait an hour plus to dine at one of the other restaurants! read more

Mushrooms I was so excited for tasted really weird and like they had sand in them. Pasta served in cheese wheel I was so excited for had absolutely no flavor at all so I had one bite wasn't worth the calories. Cocktails were really great, the lavender martini was amazing!!!! I miss the old Tulalip Bay where the food was good and atmosphere classy. I'm not sure what they were thinking with Tula Bene - it's an open space exposed to the casino noise. I came here for the first time and had ordered a steak medium rare...and it was well done and damn near inedible. Last night I tried to give them a second chance and ordered the catch of the day which was the halibut. Came in some very salty and disgusting sauce with a pasta. So much such sauce the halibut was basically still swimming, I got more sauce then pasta or halibut and the taste was rancid & just not good at all. Service is terrible also, with hardly anyone even dining there I still waited over 30 min for a nasty order to go. They need a new menu & chef cause the food is nowhere near where it should be. Well we came here for my birthday dinner. Normally in the past we have gone to the buffet that they have at the casino however that is now closed. Anyhow it took forever to get our drinks. I had a Bloody Mary and not sure if the bartender possibly has not heard of those but the drink was terrible. I did't drink more than a couple of sips. Should have sent it back but it took too long to get that one. Then the salads were bad. Never had a salad that was not good. Then everything is ala carte so I ordered a side of vegetables. What was that? These big chunks of zuccini and tomatoes? Yuck. I should have asked what the sides of vegetables were when ordering I guess but I have never had to do that anywhere else. The only thing good was the steaks were tasty but my husbands was really fatty. We get that it is good to have some fat for flavor but this was a bit much. Then over $200.00 later for this dinner I was absolutely mortified. The waitress was nice. THEN the final ending on this is my husband was sick in the middle of the night from the food. When I plan to do a Yelp review, I always take pictures. Alas, this time, I neither planned to review (too hungry), nor took pictures once I realized how exceptional this meal was going to be. I just wanted pasta for dinner -- we live 2 miles from the casino, so I was thinking Olive Garden, but my husband doesn't like it there. A quick Yelp search showed me that there was a new (to me) restaurant at the casino that was a 'pastaserie'. Well, sounds like something to try! Finding the place in the casino was a bit of a challenge, but once we got there, we were seated immediately next to a large party. It wasn't too loud though, and the ambiance was fine dining without being stuffy. There is a striking Chihuly chandelier in one alcove that is well worth admiring during dinner. The chairs are artfully mismatched, lending to the comfortable feel, while still keeping the fine dining elegance. Our server, Chris, was a work of art in himself, in that he was able to walk the line between delightful enthusiasm for the food and obnoxious overselling -- he was just the right balance and made the experience especially enjoyable. He described the highlights of the menu and answered questions like he was introducing his favorite child. It was impossible not to look forward to the food. The house "bread" was a lovely surprise, as I was very hungry and a little concerned about the usual long wait for food in fine dining. It was served promptly, and was delicious. Chris described it fully as he set it before us. We ordered the crab cakes appetizer on Chris's recommendation, and though I'm not a huge crab fan, it was just as tasty as he'd described. No fishy taste that can sometimes mar crab cakes. It was light and moist with a lot of crab and little filler. The sauce went well. I ordered the pasta assembled tableside, which Chris described as similar to fettucine alfredo. As he assembled it, he described every step. The pasta itself was very good -- clearly fresh and toothsome. The sauce was a good balance of rich without being heavy. I found it was better to stir fully before eating -- the cheese was a little too assertive to eat a lot of in one mouthful. Spread throughout the dish it made the mild sauce more interesting. My husband had the lamb, which he ate all of and enjoyed. Chris mentioned how fresh the peas in the puree were. We had the fritters for dessert, and ate every bit of it. Overall, while we were not planning to have such a nice dinner, nor spend quite as much, there was nothing left to regret. The Campanella was extremely bland, the chicken confit was mushy yet somehow dry at the same time. No where in the dish did I taste pesto, not even the goat cheese or extra parmesan could help make this dish edible. I've had better pasta at Olive Garden. The lobster bisque tasted of a combination of being burnt and over seasoned with cinnamon and cardamom. The flavor was absolutely horrendous. The Wagyu, cooked great however you wouldn't know because the sauce was so overly sweet I wasn't sure if it was dessert or dinner. Completely missed the mark on all these dishes. The special was a pork belly with the same sauce as Wagyu, had the same problem being overly sweet and the fat could have used more rendering. The dessert thank god was a saving grace, the ricotta fritters were delicious and perfectly cooked. However, not at all worth the $160 dollars minus the wine because that was, along with the service was perfect. I don't know if I'll give them another shot, it's very disappointing to have this restaurant representing Tulalip. I hope they step up there quality. read more

Went here for my daughter's 20th birthday. She loves cheese and pasta and this place is known for this dish that they make at your table in a big cheese bowl. Pretty fun to watch. We stuck with pasta because the steaks were just too expensive. I'm not going to pay 40+ bucks for a ribeye. My lobster ravioli was OK, in fact all of the food was OK. Not great, but all was overpriced. I have to say though that the staff and service was exceptional. They got high marks from me on that. Now if they could just lower the price a bit I might be back. But, being inside a casino, I get it. You can draw the crowd because it's right there. They are only open Thursday - Sunday so I'm sure they are packed on the weekends. read more

First to review! Yay me. First of all, this is our 3rd time here and they have only been open since June. If I could give this place six stars I absolutely would. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by hostesses that are actually engaged and experienced in dealing with a very busy restaurant. Then you have the pleasure of being waited by wait staff that know the menu backwards and forwards to make amazing recommendations. There is nothing on the menu that we have tried that we have not absolutely love it. The crab legs are my favorite and the Cacaio de Pepe is the best Italian dish I have ever. We sat at a table where the kitchen entrance was, the restaurant is well decorated with a nice Chihuly chandelier. We stared out with calamari appetizer and an antipasto ( I wish I took photos) the calamari appetizer was very good the calamari was not super chewy, The antipasto was horrible couple a few pieces of cheese very small couple of pieces of prosciutto and mustard and liver and a few thin slices of bread. Also with your meal you receive a small loaf of bread the top had a lot of salt on it. But baked I believe to order. I was the only one that had a Caesar salad and it was about 6 to 8 pieces of small Romain with anchovies and light dressing no lemon wedge no fresh ground pepper. I also had spaghetti with meatballs and that dish was so salty I couldn't eat it. My wife had a hamburger and said it was very good but also very salty the fries were fresh cut with garlic on top very good. The couple that came with us both had steak one came with a baked potato and the other gentleman ordered a side of mushrooms they both loved their dishes and said nothing about salt.... oh and I love salt haha. Well to start the bread was really good and the server tried....food very small portions I ordered the short ribs came with 2 small portion for around $30. Potatoes I am going to assume where instant. (All 4 agreed) came with 4 the waitress forgot to take the 4 person order so he ate by himself. Lobster bisque was very bland no offer of pepper.
