First off, very good prices! Buy 6 bagels, get 1 free is a solid deal as it comes out to just under $10 for 7. I got there around 9:35 am and the line moved pretty quickly. Efficient, nice staff and smooth checkout process. Now onto the goods. While most places tend to serve medium (or small) sized bagels, Tulip comes through with the LARGE! These things are thiccc with 3 c's. They're a little inconsistent with freshness as a couple of older bagels got mixed with fresher ones in my order but you'll likely get more good than "bad" ones. How do they taste though? Awesome! Soft interior with a well defined crispy exterior. I warmed mine in the oven and I did find the crispy edges to be a bit tougher to bite through. Personal preference I know, but it was noticeable to me. The interior doesn't get soggy though and the bagel on a whole has a great chew to it. It doesn't get crumbly like lesser bagels do. If you know, you know. Overall, I'd give Tulip an 8.5/10 that can easily be a 9/10 on any given day. I knocked them down .5 because my free bagel was hard and looking real rough. Great bagels. Awful service. Super slow. Ordered a toasted bacon egg cheese with mayo. They gave me an untoasted bagel with no cheese or mayo. Not the first time. They consistently somehow get orders wrong and charge extra for it, which you won't know until you get home. read more

We came here to grab bagels in the afternoon and it was such a nice and cozy neighborhood spot. The man behind the counter was super friendly and patient while we decided what to order... they were out of whole wheat everything bagels by this time so I decided on a regular whole wheat bagels with turkey, egg and cheese. The bagel tasted fresh and the entire sandwich was very filling in terms of portion size. I would say they had decent affordable prices too. I used to drive two miles to My Three Sons for bagels. However, after trying Tulip Bagels, which recently took over a generic bagel shop, I can now save on gas. The first time I had Tulip Bagels, I ordered two bagels with cream cheese. They were average, probably because I had ordered them at 9:45 AM. However, I went on an early Sunday morning, and palate was pleasantly surprised. When you get these bagels fresh, they are squishy and spongy with a light crust on top. I loved it! The cream cheese is soft and cheesy fluffy. The juxtaposition of the crust, dough, and cream scream is Bagel Heaven. The guys at the counter really care about the success of this establishment. Came here for bagels and fresh Orange juice this morning. Although the place itself was busy, there was enough staff to keep the line moving at a decent pace. The food was decent and the portions were normal for a breakfast sandwich. The server I had wasn't necessarily the nicest and seemed disinterested. When she forgot to make my orange juice and I reminded her, she wasn't too thrilled. Other than that, it was a pretty average experience. Nice fresh bagels every day, the bagels here are large and can be a bit pricier depending on where you buy your bagels usually. But I still come here often when I'm on the hungrier side and the bagels are always delicious. I've gotten to know the workers and they're lovely people. They move quickly and service flows fast for the amount of people who come in. The line moves quickly during rush hour. There are two tables if you want to sit and eat, most people do takeout but you'll see people sitting and eating sometimes. My family has done it during off peak hours. I don't drink coffee and their hot chocolate is made from milk so I can't have it so I can't speak on the drinks. I usually get something to drink from the fridge. read more

I also recommend their iced coffee they have different flavors, the best part is you actually get coffee and not 65% ice in your cup. I get a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel from here about once a week delivered through ubereats. Bagel is good and it's always prepared correctly with my "special instructions", as well as my Snapple and muffin. The main reason for 5 stars is that it literally gets delivered to me in Bellerose between 12-15 minutes after placing the order every single time. They are so fast in there and continue to stay consistent. The iced coffees are good too and the two times I've been in there the guy behind the counter has always been super nice.
