    Best Roast Beef Ever!
    Sara P.

If you like roast beef you need to come here. Period! I don't say things like this often but it is hands down the best roast beef I have ever had. The meat is thick cut and oh so tender, and generously portioned. The kimmelwick buns are homemade every morning, so fresh and gooey. I could literally eat one everyday. Don't believe me, head out there now, and try one. You will not be disappointed. The establishment itself is near my parents house and has changed names many many times, but with this sandwich I hope it stays. It is a small place, an old house I would imagine, with seating in a couple different rooms. It is decently busy at dinner time, we waited about 20 minutes at about 5 PM on a Friday night. They have free popcorn in the small bar area, it was somewhat stale, but hey it's free. Great service, fast and friendly. I didn't love the fries, they were cut really cool, but they were thicker and more potatoey so if that's your thing you will enjoy them. They were also $2 extra, and the sandwich itself is $10.95, but so good that it was so worth it. I prefer crispier fries so these were too mushy for me, but the roast beef was so delicious, and the fries were good, just not my style so the 5 stars is well deserved.

Every Friday my family goes to get fish somewhere. If not at a restaurant, we get take out. Usually when we get take out, the fish is soggy and not as good as in the place. So we decided to try here since it is a lot closer to our house. The fish my family got was Cajun baked. They say it was delicious. They want to go to the actual restaurant and try it there. We went when it first open, but never returned. The fries were different than most places and were slighty crispy. The non-seafood lover (me) ordered wings and onion rings. The onion rings were crispy and delicious! They were my favorite part. The wings were good, but not anything different from anywhere else. Some were a little overcooked. It was Fish Fry day, (and Lent) so I am sure the fryer was going nonstop. The other time I went sometime last year (I think) I had a burger. As someone who likes it well done (no pink in my burger please), I was pleasantly surprised when it came, that it was cooked perfectly. Most places burn it. I would definitely get the burger again. I am not sure if I would get the wings again, but the other experiences with food my family has had, I would return to try something else.

This was our first visit to this nearby location, and I am sure we will be back! I ordered the cajun chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was quite thick and mildly cajun spiced. I have never seen fries cut in this shape before but they were very good and fresh cut. My wife ordered the beef on weck and she liked it so much she asked to speak to the manager just to say how good the sandwich was. The wait staff also did a very good job.

Niagara Falls was just the most convenient one for my trip at the time. Truthfully, I don't know if the wings are better at the Buffalo locations or not. But I know this much. These were legit better than Anchor. They were crispy without being overdone. They were more tender. They felt like the cooks took extra care to make sure they were perfectly timed. I felt like I could get Anchor Bar wings in Philly. I don't feel that way about Duff's. I feel like they're doing the special thing. And if there are better than this, then someday I hope to find out.

I've eaten at this location twice and had good experiences both times. One time I had a slight wait (under ten minutes) another time they were able to seat us right away. The dining area was clean and had a variety of seating options. The menu is pretty straight forward. Wings (standard wings along with boneless), some appetizers and a variety of drink options. The wings are the typical tasty and decently sized wings served at the other Duffs locations. They offer a variety of sauces and serve the wings with celery and blue cheese. Servers are attentive and this location is family friendly.

It was not busy and we didn't have to wait for a table which is a plus. I ordered smoked turkey, with salad and sweet potato fries and a pg13 which was ginger beer, mint and I added a shot of vodka. When our food came out I had to question what was going on with the sweet potato fries because they had a thick coating and looked beer battered, not at all indicated on the menu. I asked the server, Kelsey W., and she paused and said yea I don't know for sure but if you can't have gluten I wouldn't eat them. I was annoyed at the situation and just took them off my plate but I understand this can happen. The server seemed annoyed and goes on to blame me and says I should have told her. Now will say I did have to go through the salad ingredients and pick most of them out, she didn't ask me about allergies either. And it's not common to add a beer batter coating to sweet potato fries without indicating it in the menu. The menu should be updated asap for other guests. Any other server would apologize for the situation and ask how they can make it better and not blame for a customer for a misunderstanding. After that I realized there was an extra sauce on the tray, I asked her to check with the kitchen to see what was in it, is it safe for me to eat? She came back 15 minutes later and said she will check and have an answer soon. It was not busy, this was not acceptable. Again clearly not showing any help for your guest with a food issue. This showed me she had zero concern or care about this or trying to smooth it over. Finally, towards the end of the meal I realized my water was leaking, had thought it was condensation as it was hot out. My glass, water cup had a huge crack in it. You would have hoped that someone would have seen it before serving it to someone. Clearly a safety issue. I hope I didn't ingest glass. I handed it back to our server and told her this glass needed to be tossed in the trash. Her response was another blank look, she didn't really care and just gave me another shallow I'm sorry. The rest of my meal was tasty and it was a large portion. Everyone else at my table had nice looking food and was happy with it. I will personally not come back here. District 37- it wouldn't hurt to update your menu and add what is gluten safe and indicate what kind of coating is on your sweet potato fries because a lot of people who choose these have special dietary needs. You should also train your staff to help bring up allergy issues with your guests and have more empathy if an issue arises. If this is something a server isn't able to work on they might consider an alternate employment opportunity.

We were served right by the windows with a great view of the car and parking lot. The food was served after about 15+ minutes. I thought the salmon portion was quite small but it was good, tho tiny in my opinion. Wife had a chicken breast but probably a bra-size too small, but sez tasted healthy. She also thought that we could have ordered yet another meal each, due to our portions' tiny size. She wonder why the portions were so small, but I guess the neighborhood's cutting down on its portions. She also mentioned how we did not even get any bread! To me all the portions seemed tiny for the price. Not happy at all.... We even searched the menu for a healthy organic or non-beef burger, but did not find it. But the biggest let-down was the very tiny portion sizes. They did honor a military discount - thank you - and that was greatly appreciated!
