2nd UPDATE: On a whim, I tried contacting TungstenWorld after Christmas through their web site and I not received a response, today (Jan 3, 2023), I received my replacement ring and a return label for the wrong ring they had previously sent. I don't know what was going on when this first happened, but this time their service was excellent. Kudos to Brandi for working through this with me! By the way, they no longer carry my original ring, but I found one that I liked just as much. UPDATE: After reading other reviews, I am realizing the chances of getting my correctly sized ring in the style I ordered is probably not going to happen. I have amended my review to one star, only because no stars is not an option. I am sure I could purchase the ring I want, but will never do business with this company again. I have purchased four rings from TungstenWorld.com and all of the purchases were smooth transactions with no problems. However, trying to get a resize exchange has been less than satisfactory. I sent my 6mm ARES ring in for a smaller size and was sent the wrong ring; it was 8mm and a different style. When I reported this to TungstenWorld, they had me send it back to be replaced. About two weeks later I received a a replacement for the replacement and it was exactly the same 8mm ring of the wrong style that I had just returned to them. Despite Tungsten World transitioning management a couple years ago everything for me as a customer has been seamless since my original purchase in 2015 and a recent purchase. I purchased my husband's wedding band in 2015. It has been absolutely perfect!! Unfortunately we are navigating some health stuff for him and he needs a size smaller to make sure we don't lose it in a parking lot somewhere. We did not want to take advantage of the sizing lifetime warranty as we want to keep the original ring we were married with since our bands were blessed at our wedding mass. I emailed to make sure the ring style was still 100% the same before I ordered a new one since the picture looks a little different online than my husband's ring and despite new management so I'm sure an entirely new system, they located my original order and got back to me within one business day confirming I could go ahead and order the ring as it's still the same one. I can't wait for us to get the new ring in the mail so he can wear his ring without worrying. His original ring still looks fantastic and I know the new one will too. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Tungsten World has been transitioning management for MONTHS without noting that on their website and still taking orders and returns as usual. EXCEPT they are committing THEFT. My roommate sent in her ring 3 months ago according to their return policy to get it resized. After the package sat at the post office for almost a week they picked up the package. Their number is no longer working. They say they are transitioning and that someone will be in contact by a date but all the dates they have given have past. The last was May 16. They should never have accepted the rings. Now we are out $150+ THEY ARE COMMITTING THEFT AND FRAUD. HORRIBLE COMPANY AND THE ONE THAT HAS ACQUIRED THEM. BBB will be notified and legal action will be taken. June 6, 2014-So if your order something from tungstenworld.com, they give you free shipping, but what they do not tell you is that if for any reason you need to return or exchange, they will charge you the original shipping fee of $20, then they expect you to return the item in a new box (Can't be the same box they shipped the item in) and YOU have to cover the cost of the shipping and the new box, about $24 at your local UPS. So basically, you will be out almost $45! What a ripoff! I wasn't happy with the customer service, upon calling they don't answer. Say they will call back in 24 hours, I never heard back after leaving 3 voice mails. Additionally they charge you a $20 return processing fee, below is their reasoning: There are many reasons we have a processing fee for refunds. First, we ship to the customer for free initially, then when we process a payment, there are credit card processing fees and bank fees that we pay and cannot get back, even to do a refund for the full amount, the banks charge us. We cannot get back shipping fees. The rings have to be cleaned, inspected, or recycled, etc. The $20 processing fee is what upper management has had in place as a small fee that alleviates our costs if a customer doesn't want to keep a ring. Tungsten World, credit card processing fees is a business expense that you can't avoid, like taxes. You shouldn't hold customers liable for these expenses. In addition to their restocking B.S. fee, you have to pay shipping back. So I paid $40 for nothing. Thanks for reminding me why I use amazon for everything. read more

I'm getting married September 12, 2015 and it came that time to get wedding bands. After doing a lot of looking online at different styles, I narrowed it down to a dark gray or black tungsten ring. Then from there I did my homework on different places to buy them, local and online. The places I've looked at around me just didn't have the selection I was looking for, so I decided the internet would give me the best selection. Now just like you're doing, I read review after review if online shops, and horror story after horror story of buying jewelry online, especially something that you're wearing for the rest of your life. And I'm not going to lie, I read a lot of great reviews on Tungstenworld.com and also some negative ones. A lot of the bad ones were about shipping costs, and the cost to exchange and blah blah blah like that, who cares, get over it. One lady was mad about the engraving of the company inside the band, again who cares, get over it. Its not on the outside for the world to see. So I decided to make my purchase through tungstenworld.com because the good far surpassed the bad and to me the quality and price was the most important. First off, their selection is the best I've found. Again, all I wanted was a dark, simple plain design, so yeah not too hard to please me but everywhere else I looked at one or two that fit my preference. I did order their free ring-sizer which came in 2 days. Throughout this whole process I had questions, I used their online chat and the help was quick and insightful. Didn't interact too much with any humans but the times I did, it was great. My fiancé and I narrowed down our choices and made the purchase two nights ago, and for only $37, they got delivered this afternoon. For spending $300 on the rings, $38 for damn close to overnight shipping was well worth it. I got the Eclipse 8mm, size 8.5. She got the Classique 4mm. Both engraved. I'm not going to lie, I was extremely anxious and nervous about what to expect when they showed up. Was it going to be a complete rip off, were they going to be not as shown. But what can I say! I am completely satisfied with the product. My ring has great weight to it, is very clean and shiney, and just looks badass. The lines are tight and sharp. The finish shines and is very very smooth. It has great weight and feels veey manly and durable. The engraving is perfect and very easy to read on the 8mm width. Her ring is beautiful too, feels very nice and looks nice too. Only bad thing is that it being 4mm, the engraving is very tiny, but I knew that before it was purchased. And that's another thing people, read all the info on the site before you buy. Know exactly what you're buying, and about the company you're buying from. They tell you a lot of things before buying to help you make the right choices. So I knew they didn't recommend engraving 4mm, but they did it, and it came out fine, just small. Needless to say, we're both very happy with the product, the shipping and the experience we had shopping with them. Definitely will recommend anyone to buy with them. Cost me $30 to exchange a $80 ring that was never worn because you have to pay for priority shipping and a "process fee". I first ordered a large size but that was too big. I followed their advice and ordered a whole size down but that was too small. Now I'm returning the ring AGAIN and it's costing me another $30. Their sizes are way off so beware! My fiancé was fitted for 9.5 with their free sizer but that fell off his finger when he wore it. I'm so frustrated. I will never recommend or order from this company again. This review is from 01/07/15: I ordered a bracelet from TungstenWorld in November and after I asked about resizing, I was told at the time that they couldn't resize it for me because they got the bracelets from another wholesale retailer. But I was assured by an associate that any local jeweler could do the link change. So I ordered it for my husband and have been to six reputable jewelers who have all been unable to resize it. I then called and asked TungstenWorld if they could give me the name of the wholesaler they dealt with, so I could at least talk to them about just buying the pins, tools or whatever parts were needed to resize the bracelet. One of the associates, Carlos,just kept repeating himself like a bad recording, saying their wholesaler wouldn't talk to me. When I asked Carlos if they could just buy the parts that we needed to try fixing it ourselves, and that we would pay whatever they were worth at retail not wholesale price, he said no he couldn't do that. His tone changed to subtle sarcasm when I expressed irritation, saying they would have to break apart another bracelet and that it wouldn't do any good. I asked why then, had an associate told me it could be resized. (Not sure if it was Carlos himself or Brett).Carlos' response was that he knew several customers who were able to have their bracelets successfully resized. To which I asked if he could tell me the names of the jewelers and he answered by saying no he couldn't because they (TungstenWorld) had no parts, and then repeated his spiel about the wholesaler not selling to me. Needless to say I am livid, especially now that I saw the exact same bracelet from Zales back in stock for a much lower price if we bought the bracelet through them. It would be $54 dollars for a warranty and then they could resize it. But because we got it from another seller, they can't fix it. To be fair, when I placed the original order in November, Brett did price match for me after I purchased the Zales version, just in case TungstenWorld wouldn't price match and I had to send it back. I already had the TungstenWorld bracelet and it was just easier to keep their bracelet so that I didn't have to go to the mall to get it from Zales. I also wanted to avoid having to pay their ridiculous return policy prices- Shipping was free, but if for any reason you need to return or exchange, they will charge you the original shipping fee of $20, then they expect you to return the item in a new priority mail box with postage at your expense. So essentially I'd have to pay a little less than half of what I had for the bracelet to send it back. And now Carlos also told me I am past their 45 day return policy which is unfair, because it was a Christmas present and he and Brett knew that when I purchased the bracelet, because I've dealt with both of them during this whole purchase process. The 45 days should have started after Christmas to be fair to their customers who were ordering gifts, because there was no way of testing the size on the recipient without giving them their gift early just to fall into the 45 day return window. Shame on them. My husband has had similar bracelets in the past, so he googled the type of tools that could be used on a bracelet like this by checking many forums. We ordered the ten dollar tool and nope, no luck. Now the bracelet is essentially broken. I am currently taking slow breaths even to write this review because of how livid I am that I was lied to about the bracelet easily being resized by almost any jeweler. I should have eaten the cost of the return and kept the one from Zales. I feel as if I was scammed, both for originally telling me it could easily be resized, for TungstenWorld never returning any of the three voicemail messages I left since Christmas, and then lastly for the ridiculous conversation with Carlo. I never write nasty reviews, but we are now left with what is essentially an expensive paperweight. BUYER BEWARE! read more

I was pleased when I purchased my wedding band 7 years ago. However I didn't realize that the inside of my band would say "Tungsten World" in large letters. Most frustrating is that my wedding band recently snapped in half. I have attempted calling four times and emailing customer service. I have not received a response. Buyer beware! I bought a tungsten ring from them in April and it just cracked on me only 4 months after original purchase! They tout their Lifetime Warranty, however when I called them I was told it will be a $50 deductible to replace it! That's not a warranty, that's a scam! I dropped it on the floor and it cracked in half. They claim that's because it's such a hard material that it's prone to cracking. So they know they're selling an inferior product prone to breaking at the most common of impacts, which is why they are charging $50 to replace it, because clearly they cannot stand behind the quality of their product. If you buy a tungsten ring from them, expect to be replacing it. $50 every time you drop it. read more

I am VERY unhappy with the service and the product I got from tungsten world. I bought a tungsten wedding band for my husband, he wore it for 13 days and it broke! I contacted them to find out what the heck happened and they told me that the ring I bought was in fact not a tungsten ring but a ceramic ring. And even though he only wore it for 13 days and it broke that I would have to pay a deductible to get it replace. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! First off, I was told that the ring was tungsten which it turns out it was not. And second he wore it for 13 days!! After asking about getting the deductible waived, I have not heard from them since. I wanted to have an engraving on the outside and knew it had to be done by a professional engraver with special tools. I found Tungsten World online and was informed I could bring in my own ring and they'd take care of my special font request. (I wanted Greek letters). It took about 20 minutes and he answered all of my questions while I waited. Was able to check out other Tungsten rings and styles. First, I want to say that I rarely leave a review. I have to be thoroughly impressed or disappointed to take the time to write up my experience with a business. I purchased a ring for my husband 4 years ago. The ring cracked, possibly because my husband is a man's man and fixes everything in our home including remodeling the bathroom from the ground up, building a deck for the pool, blah blah etc.... So the ring has taken a beaten. I expect to get some grief from the person on the other end of the phone about getting a replacement ring. Surprisingly, the guy, named Carlos, was very helpful and even asked if I wanted the same engraving on the ring, to which I replied no actually, I would like to change it, after a moment of slight embarrassment, I tell him I want it to say Sexy Beast instead of the initial engraving which was Mio Amore. He complied with the request and at no extra charge. I will inform you that if you have a ring replaced there is a 50.00 deductible, but to replace a 200.00 dollar ring that endured years of abuse, that is a pretty great deal because I do not have to pay for a new ring. He said he will ship it out and I will have it by Friday. Just three days from now. That is pretty amazing service! Honestly, I wish returning something at Walmart was this easy. read more

One star is being generous. One of the worst experiences yet. I ordered a custom fingerprint tungsten ring on December 14, a full month before the wedding. They advertise a "1-2 week" processing time for orders, so seemed like plenty of time. I just received the ring, almost a full month after ordering. They confirmed with me that the fingerprints had been received and were acceptable for engraving. There are NO prints engraved on this ring. I am SO DONE with this company. They charged my card as soon as the order was placed, promised a shipment in two weeks, and did not ship for almost a full month. My husbands wedding band broke within 2 weeks of wearing it. I purchased the Prometheus ring 01 December 15. We were married 07 Feb 16 and last week, Thursday 18 Feb, he noticed a chunk missing around the diamond (see the picture I attached). I was embarrassed and very upset. I called and the first girl told me that the metal was sensitive around the diamond. I called back and Carlos told me that it is a hard metal and if it hits something it will break. What?!?!?!?! This doesn't seem to be what their website preaches. Since it was just outside the 45 day return policy and the extent of the lack of quality, I asked him to waive the deductible. He said I still had to pay the $20 processing fee because they have to send it back to the manufacturer. That's not much but why they heck wouldn't such a supposedly customer oriented company not waive it for this situation. And what's to say this doesn't keep happening? I tried arguing him down but Carlos just kept repeating himself and tried to say we damaged it by hitting it against something. Even if that was the case, is this ring really that delicate?? My wife ordered my first wedding ring from this company in 2012 and everything was good on it. I ended up losing the ring and she ordered me another one for our anniversary this year in June. The ring ended up being too small but the engraving was spelt correctly. We spent $20 to have the ring re-made with a new size and they ended up sending us an engraving that said "Your are my world". Obviously it's supposed to say, "You are my world." We sent it back again to have them re-do the engraving. They sent it back to us with that exact same engraving AGAIN! After calling and informing them that they can't seem to spell, we sent it back. We just received the ring for the 3rd time now and the engraving is correct but now they messed up the size. So we called and requested a full refund as well as the processing fees we had to pay to send it back each time. They said they won't give us the processing fees but will reimburse the ring money if they receive it before the 45 day mark from the original purchase. So now we have to rush deliver the ring to them which costs us even more money just to get our money back. What a waste of time and money. The wife and I are absolutely furious and customer service couldn't care less about their customers. I will tell everybody I can to avoid this company. read more
