First off the salesman are a joke, you buy the vehicle from some clown behind the glass... once the truck was purchased it came from make ready with tire dressing dripping off the tires.. salesman's went and got 3 paper towels to attempt to whip it off... I took my truck in for warranty work due to it throwing a service locker soon code. This place has a horrible service department. the guy behind the counter is basically worthless.. they don't communicate to their customers about the status of the vehicle repairs. They don't carry any inventory of parts bast oil filters I don't believe, looks like every part comes from the Dallas area. So far my vehicle has been their since 01/19 and as of this review (01/21) we are still waiting on parts... oh yeah, don't think they will have a loaner car for you... Guy told me loaner cars was a privilege and not an obligation on the dealership... Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.. I wish I would had read this before I bought my truck there. The biggest issue is no-one cares, Ive talked to service director and sales manager with no results. Looks like to me their fine with one time customers.. Anyway once I get my truck back they will never see that truck or me again. read more

Worst mechanics...total ignorant uneducated service department. All about up sales not fixing original problem. Purchased a battery from them when they worked on my car. Took battery back today to get new one. Battery dead. They said unless i purchase a new battery..drive car up there (then disconnect new battery) put in old dead battery they originally installed, let them run test to verify battery dead. They will not stand behind warranty. Unbelievable...without going down a rabbit hole in any further information and experiences there in past two years. NEVER EVER GO THERE....NOT EVEN FOR AN OIL CHANGE....TAKE MY WORD....EXPERIENCE THERE AND. its just the Crosby Tx location only. Nick, Debbie, Bryan, David AND Mark (I haven't had the pleasure of meeting the rest of the team), are phenomenal people. HUMAN people who don't try to sell you on tall tales and empty promises. I was hit by a drunk driver and thought my driving days were over and these wonderful people were patient while I compared them to just about every dealership in a 100 mile radius. It bothered me that everywhere else I went the sales representatives were just trying to get me out the door or in the seat of some overpriced car. I came back and Nick sat with me while local banks had error after error. I left that day with a gorgeous 2021 Nissan Maxima and it is such a smooth ride. I love it. Horrible customer service! Had to call multiple times to get an update on my truck. Was told I'd get a call back.. never did. When I did get to talk to someone they couldn't tell me what was wrong with the truck just said it was being looked at. They had the truck over a week. Finally I was told the truck was fixed that it was the tires were unbalanced. So I send someone to pick up my truck and at that time was told the tires were balanced on a machine but that it didn't correct the problem. So when i asked " what does your diagnosis consist of " I was just told " well sir we looked at it " and we have some quotes here for you new tires being the tires are the issue.( just trying to sale me somthing) NOT correcting the issue with my truck. They couldn't go into detail on what they did or didn't do to my truck while they had it but wanted to charge me 185$ for diagnosis fee that wasn't covered under warranty. I was lied to multiple times by the service advisor. Not very much knowledge in this service department and poor communication. This is the 2nd vehicle I have bought from Turner chevrolet and WILL BE THE LAST one I buy. I have sent quite a few people here to buy vehicles but will never do it again! read more

I took my truck in for warranty work after the work was done I continue to have problems. I reached out after 6 trips back and got the run around about how they put me in a loaner for so long even though that has nothing to do with my complaints. It was my fault because I didn't do a fuel system cleaning for $200. After having the motor replaced under warranty I continued to get a check engine lights they said they couldn't figure it out so I should do the fuel cleaning why would I do that when they couldn't figure it out it was leaking oil it had a ground wire loose so causing electrical problems those two issues I found. part of the steering issue is still bad I just talk to the dealership general manager and he flat told me on the phone that he wasn't willing to help me because I left a bad review on Google.10 out of 10 do not recommend. read more

Had my truck serviced about a year ago for an issue covered under warranty. It was fixed in a timely manner and no problems since. However, once this place has your phone number they WILL NOT STOP CALLING and harassing you asking you about your recent services, oil changes, why you didn't use them for your last oil change, etc. read more

I had a great experience buying from Turner Chevrolet. I have probably purchased 20 vehicles over the years...not a good idea, financially!...and have experienced some decent dealerships and a ton of terrible ones. This was my best experience by a wide margin. Price was fair, negotiation was painless and easy, no "tricks" or any BS that you get with a lot of other places (looking at you Ron Carter). I have never seen a dealership with a customer service department that cares so little about there customers. If there were a way to give negative stars, I would be one of those to use them. This is the third time I have attempted to do business with the Turner Chevrolet Service Department and this was the third time that they acted like they could care less about helping me with my vehicle issue. I would not recommend this dealership for their service department and since the service department is the money maker at a dealership, I assume their sales department couldn't be much better. Here is how my visit played out. We had a flat and when I tried to change the tire, I discovered that the local tire shop had stripped out the key for our locking lugs and I was unable to get the wheel off of the truck. I tried to call Turner customer service several times all within the hours of service. No answer. The call would ring and go to voicemail. I aired up the tire and drove to the dealership and walked in to the customer service reception area. I told them the problem and was told that they didn't have any master keys for the locking lugs. I asked how I could get the wheel fixed and the rep said it would have to be stripped off. I asked how would they do that and her response was, "I am not a technician, sir." I then told them that I tried to call and that nobody answered, her response, "my phone hasn't rang." So I pulled out my phone and called and showed her it was going to voicemail. She shrugged her shoulders and repeated that her phone isn't ringing. Ron Craft Chevrolet in Baytown is the place to go for CUSTOMER SERVICE in the service department. I left Turner and called Ron Craft and they told me over the phone that they could take my vehicle in immediately and fix the problem while I waited. When I arrived, they told me that they have a set of master keys as this is a common problem with locking lugs. They pulled in my vehicle and the customer service manager told me they would take off all four locking lugs and replace them and with new locking lugs and key. That is awesome customer service. From the moment I received a phone call from Robbie Turner I knew I was going to have a great experience. I drove to the dealership and began working with Robbie to come up with a number that would fit my situation. Unlike the first dealership I went to Turner was willing to work with my situation. The other dealership was Ron Craft. They just blew me off without even a return phone call. David in Finance worked very hard to find me the deal that would work for me. Kudos to him also. The Sale Staff and Financing Dept. actually treat you like they've known you as a friend or neighbor. I honestly felt like they were giving me the same deal they would give their next door neighbor or family member. I shopped multiple dealerships before I walked into Turner Chevrolet, 5 minutes after meeting the staff a Turner Chevrolet, I realized I spent a lot of wasted time walking hot parking lots. I bought my "New" 2018 Camero SS in June/July of 2018 and the car has been in the shop about 5 times in less than a year!! Now, I have to take it back for a problem that was supposedly fixed on one of the other visits to the service department. This time, there are no loners. Well, I have to get to work somehow to pay for this car that has been in the shop more than all my other vehicles combined! Geez!! So. I asked the girl should I have the car towed there after the front end goes out and leaves me or someone else injured or dead? She very politely says "Yes Ma'am"!! WTF????? I would get fired it I said that to one of my customers! Look, I can understand no loners available, but I dropped over 40K on a car at your dealership, one that has been in your service department several times, and no one can at least help me find a dealership that can accommodate? It's nice to walk into a small town dealership that actually focuses on the customer and not how much money they can make. Maybe it's because the salespeople aren't on commission, I just don't know. I contacted Turner Chevrolet wanting to place an order for 2017 Volt. Paul was upfront about Turner not receiving a 2017 Volt order allocation for a couple months yet. He then astounded me by looking into which Houston dealerships DID have allocations so that I could continue my search more efficiently. Paul had no incentive to go above and beyond, but he did, and it saved me a lot of time. This is a smaller dealership, and in the end I didn't buy from them, but I wish I could have. They treated me with respect and candidness that set them apart from the other dealerships I interacted with. read more

This place is either incompetent or sleezy. I brought my 2011 Traverse in there for steering whine at low speeds. GM has an extended service warranty for the power steering pump. I determined the problem was either the pump or rack/pinion. I informed them of this when I dropped it off. I even gave them a copy of the 10yr warranty. They called back 2 days later and said it was the rack. I decided not to get it fixed there because I thought it was too expensive ($1530) They informed me I was responsible for the $150 diagnostic fee. No problem since this was addressed at drop off. Of course they have to add a $7.50 misc charge to this. I pick the suv up but the dash it lit up with stabilitrak and airbag lights. I bring it back and then they determine the problem is the clock ring. (Steering wheel). I was responsible for the $176 part because they didnt break it. Go back to get the car and make it clear I wasn't happy with the new charge. Service mngr proceeds to admit the tech disassembled the column/steering but of course he says he didn't break the part. So after owning the suv for 8 yrs and 75k miles somehow this part just coincidently just fails while it's in their possession even though they disassembled the steering column. To top it off, the $176 quoted over the phone by Carolyn (167 plus tax) turns into 199 with more misc charges. I sure hope they put my money to good use. Every time I have to communicate or deal with the service department it's pure chaos! Called for an appointment over a week ago and showed up today w 4 people ahead of me at 8am cause "they don't make appointments on weekends!".....seriously! Apparently the girl who offered it, took my name and info didn't know not to do that. Well that's "not my problem!".....and they didn't even honor the appointment to make up for THEIR mistake! This is one of say 4-5 times the service department has over promised and under delivered. Whoever is running that department should be fired as their service and communication is terrible. Only reason I come there is because of the warranty. After that BYE Turner Chevrolet! You'd think after spending $60k on a purchase they would treat you much better!!! read more
