This company came out twice and gave incorrect diagnoses, ordered the wrong parts, and, after weeks of waiting, we still don't have a working fridge. We had them come out to fix our microwave and they were fast and came out quickly. The part was warrantied so that was covered,but I still had to pay for the service call and labor. I didn't know the previous company I called didn't do warranty work,so I paid for a service call twice. read more

The appliance store we purchased from gave us Turner's shop to call for a frig/freezer not cooling. We had Turner's out and they said it was the "sealed unit" not working. They informed us to call GE since it was only 2 1/2 years old. We called GE and they were helpful and told us they would pay for parts and labor to get it fixed. Turner's got the case number from GE and ordered parts. A few days later they came out and replaced the "sealed unit system". The repairman told us to give it 24 hrs to completely cool. We did!! After 24 hr the freezer was only down to 36 degrees. We called back and low and behold Turner's closes tickets after 48 hours and we would again need to call GE. I finally talked to the office manager and she is now sending someone out again. With the holidays and scheduling, it has now been 2 weeks and still not a working frig/freezer. Requested repair person to call me before heading to my house so I could be sure to meet him there. Left my mother at the hospital! He replied to my text "okay". (I still have the text to prove it but I couldn't post it here.) was between 11 and 1. Got home about 11:20 so I would sure and be there when he got there. Got home and there was a door hanger on the door saying he was there at 11:15 and now I would have to reschedule. Called the office and after the receptionist asked the tech, he said there was no such arrangement about calling ahead. Told them I was calling someone else if their techs would lie. We scheduled an appointment for a repair on a new appliance that was not working for warranty work. The owner was very rude and condescending when asked what time they were arriving for our appointment. Would not let Me complete a sentence when speaking without cutting Me off. The tech came out and did not complete any work said he needed to order a new part. When we called back to ask about the timeframe there was not a part ordered and the service was marked as complete. Seems to be no recent reviews, so let me update to 2022. At Kansas City, NFM I purchased a SpeedQueen W&D in 2014 @ $1,700 . Purchased several extended warranties through ASSURANT, purch the last one in 2018 for 5 yr at $650, so still valid & exp in 2023. Assurant hooked me up with Turner Svc Repair. 1st appt, I missed the texts; 2nd appt they didn't note "afternoon only to" the tech; 3rd appt, got tech to the house for diagnosis. I'd watched youtubes on S.Q. dryer repair. It was making a chirp sound intermittently, I thought it was a loose belt but the [rather young-ish] tech said sounded like the rollers.Waited about 10 days for the parts. I called to tell him about the video and asked that as long as he was going to tear into it all the way, could he just replace the belt while he's in there, also the idler arm? He refused on the belt, but did get the rollers and idler arm. He mentioned not being very familiar with SQ which gave me concern. I called to tell the company receptionist what he said and that he looked very young. However, I agreed to let him "learn" on my machine if he needed the "exposure" on SQs. I had no idea what I was signing off on and what the end result would be! When he arrived with the parts, once the front was off, he didn't have the right tools so I had to loan him 2 of mine which were not the actual tool needed, but he was able to make it work. Inside the machine, he had to pull up a video and from that point on hardly turned a screw without watching the vid. When he removed the idler arm it did not compare in design or size with the new one. He "explained" it was to "do the job better." An hour and a half later, he was closing the dryer front, plugged it in and the most horrible grinding sound came from it which was immediately replaced with a sound of strong resistance rubbing. When he opened the door, the drum was turning counter-clockw; but I think it's normal turn was clockw. I was just weary from running for tools for him (I'm in a walker) so told him he was NOT going to tear it down again! I reminded him what he said last time about not being familiar with SQ, but he told me what he'd said was, that the company he USED to be with did lots of work on SQs but that the one he's with now (Turner) does almost no work n SQs. Again, THIS was the company selected for me by the ASSURANT Warranty Contract I signed. I called Assurant and was told they would find another service provider for me and would send an email within a few hours. It's nearly 24 hrs later and no word yet from them. I next called SQ.com's Contact Us # and got 3 referrals of certified SQ dry repair companies. #1 soonest was April 5; #2 soonest was 1 week; #3 soonest was 3 days. It also had the highest reviews so I will pay OUT OF MY OWN POCKET in order to get a qualified repairman to fix the incompentent young man's screwup. The parts he ordered are on the machine so it will be easy to tell if he knew enough about the SQ that they had a design change a few years ago which probably is why he got the wrong idler arm. He obviously didn't know enough about them to know which tools to bring/buy for the job because I mentioned to him in a joking tone, "Looks like you didn't watch the video all the way to the end because they showed how to do [that]." This was the first time I ever bought an extended warranty but if I can't get connected to a qualified dealer, then the $650 dollar warranty is not worth the paper it's written on....literally!!! And Assurant has just lost a customer! read more

I'm sorry if you get referred to this company. For almost 45 days we worked with this company to fix a brand new GE Dishwasher. In those 45 days there was an extreme lack of follow-up on the ordering of parts, scheduling, 1 lost order of parts, a promise to escalate to GE to get parts overnighted and no concern of fixing our appliance. After two visits by Turner's we asked them to contact GE to replace our dishwasher that they could not fix; Turner's declined. We promptly contacted the retailer and they understood our frustration working with Turner's and they made an exception to take the broken appliance and exchange for a brand new one. Please do what you can to avoid working with this company. read more

We've used Turner Consumer for many of our appliance repairs. They have always been courteous and professional. It has taken a long time to get parts so we thought that we would go with another company. What a mistake! We now realize that the problem isn't with Turner, getting parts for appliances isn't in their control. It took the other company 6 months rather than 2 weeks. We had a difficult situation with our dishwasher this summer. It was leaking water on our hardwood floors. They scheduled a call for the next day. They did a great job. Everyone was polite and helpful. The technician, Dave, went the extra mile and SAVED US SOME MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't had a company do that in years. Good reviews are bogus! Turner's "service" is Terrible. Came to repair a leaking freezer three times now, every two months, and did THE EXACT SAME thing each time (blow the lines), even though each time they said "we'll try something different if this doesn't work". The technician is either incompetent or is looking to get done as quickly as he can. He told me "good luck" on getting the fridge replaced because there is nothing he can do to deem it not fixable. Professional and prompt. Called for Bosch Dishwasher needing repair. Came out for diagnosis 2 days after my call within 2 hr window, part ordered and as promised, 2days for them to receive. They called when part was received and arrived at 8 am for repair the following day. Have used them in past for recall & repair. Recommendation from Bosch 800#. I will definitely used this Lenexa company in the future for repairs on all appliances. Wish you worked on LG. read more

We were directed to Turner directly from the Maytag web page as an authorized service provider. This was on a Sunday and booked the soonest available on the following Tuesday. TCS called me first thing Monday morning and verified the call to take place the next day. Early Tuesday morning I received a call from the actual tech refining my time slot. All of this communication was much appreciated. Dave was on time for the Tuesday afternoon call but unfortunately the fix required a part not on the truck. He worked us in for the first slot the following morning to complete the fix. This was our first experience with TCS but we will gladly use them for appliance repair in the future. They were professional, courteous, competent, and generally a pleasure to work with. read more

I'm only giving one star again because I can't give less than that. I called last Monday to see when the part would be in. It was set to deliver on Wednesday, Turner told me they would be by Friday (today) after calling me by 7:30 a.m. to set up a time. I called them at 8:30 after never hearing from them. They accidentally ordered the wrong part, and the new one won't be in until next Monday. Maybe. So they can fix the DW next Friday. Probably. I don't even have the energy to hate Turner anymore. My experience with Turners was nothing short of shocking and entirely unacceptable. The service tech, office manager and the business owner are unprofessional, rude and brash. I am appalled at their level of unacceptable behavior. I have provided feedback as such to the national manufacturer to ensure others are not subjected to this poor behavior and negative treatment. I cannot tell you about all of the bad experiences we have had with them, but they are the only ones who service Bosch and they are the JennAir repair people... solution. Not buy Bosch or JennAir. They did not install our cooktop correctly TWICE! And they broke the dishwasher at our old house Twice. And the second time they wanted to blame us saying we removed the kick plate... well, up until that moment I didn't even know what a kick plate was!!!! We have a 13 year old Bosch dryer that started making noises when first turned on. We called Turner's for a service call which was scheduled a few days from my call. The tech let us know that morning that he would arrive between 8 and 10 am. He arrived just after 8, diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate, then ordered parts. Less than 2 weeks later, while I could still use the dryer, the parts arrived, and the 2nd service call was scheduled for the next day. Another call that morning to let us know he would be here between 10am and noon, and he was here just after 10. He set to his task, was finished in around 1 hour, and the bill was just under the estimate. From the lady who answered my first call to the tech that serviced our dryer, I was very impressed with the courtesy and efficiency with which our problem was handled. Our experience was nothing like the reviews that spoke of rudeness and inefficiency. read more

So if your appliance fails you can count on these people fixing it and it's a guarantee your stuff won't be fixed for at least 2 weeks. Rude, awful customer service. They initially give you an entire day to set aside for them to come out, and refuse to narrow down the window until the day arrives. I ordered a factory-warranted part for my washing machine. The service man called on the day and gave me the window. I waited around my house, only to receive a phone call 10 minutes after the window saying he was on his way. I told him I'd already left, and then he LIED TO ME and said he'd given me a 2.5 hour window. I had the voicemail, and argued the point, but he insisted on his lie. He never called me to reschedule, so I called customer service. The woman on the other end was very rude, and stated that since I'd canceled the appointment, there would be no priority on my service. I explained that the service man was lying, but she took his side. A week later, I finally got my part installed. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. read more

30 day saga: 1st visit: 1st man: this is a 2 man job, be back next week. 2nd visit: 2 men including same 1st man, diagnosed needed fridge evaporator, heat exchanger, compressor (all warrantied items); 3rd visit: 1st man, unable to pull built-in fridge from wall; said 2 man job; 4th visit: 2 men including 1st man: you must remove the cabinets above built-in fridge; let us know when you have done that and we will be back; Interim: woman moves fridge from wall in less than five minutes--alone, never seen above a built-in fridge before, no tools or force required; 5th visit: same 1st man, installed evaporator, heat exchanger (both under warranty) and light bulb (bulb not warrantied $5.07); $885 bill; Customer declined to pay until confirmation that fridge works. 1st man says "dont' call us again"; office staff hangs up when asked to speak to owner. Next day: still not freezing or cooling to safe levels of 0 and 34 degrees. Billed manufacturer for compressor. Do you want this company on your service project? read more

This company is the worst company we have ever had to deal with. Our Frigidaire refrigerator that was 38 days old was not cooling (freezer was at 65 degrees). Frigidaire sent us to Turner to have them fix it. Between February 2015 and June 2015 they were out NINE times to try and fix this, more than half of those times it was their service tech's blaming each other for not knowing what to do. We called several times and asked to speak to the owner Nick Turner to only be told every time that he doesn't have time to deal with customers. After it quit cooling again today 6/22/2015 we finally gave up and called Frigidaire and asked for a different service company that knows what they are doing. I would recommend if you ever get stuck having to deal with this company to ask Frigidaire for a different company so you don't have to waste countless hours dealing with Turner. read more

The Turner serviceman was on time, as promised. He was friendly, competent and efficient. The call was for my refrigerator. I thought the freezer was not working properly. As it happened everything was working okay. He cleared up some information the the last company (A & E Factory Service) failed to inform me of. It took 2 A & E techs a total of 4 trips to fix the refrigerator. Meanwhile I lost over $200 worth of food. They failed to notice the Maytag dishwasher sitting right next to the refrigerator on each of the 4 trips. This is the dishwasher that could have caught on fire due to faulty heater units. On the first trip the service tech., Steve, noticed it and asked if I had ever had the heater replaced. When I said no he asked if he could return that afternoon and replace it. Since it was a factory recall there was no cost to me. He returned as promised and completed the job in about 10 minutes. Can I give zero stars?? Our dishwasher's pump broke in April 2016, which was covered by the extended warranty we purchased through Lowe's. Turner replaced it in April but it broke again in January, 2017. We called to make sure the part was still under the one year warranty we were told we had when we had it replaced. Lori from Turner Consumer Services said yes, it was a one year warranty. We scheduled a service call to have the pump replaced. The repairman said it could be the pump or the control board. He was there to fix it but did not know what it was??? The company said the pump only had a 90 day warranty not one year like we had originally be told. When we complained to the office, we explained that they told us it was a one year warranty on the part and the only reason we called them to fix it was because we were told is was under warranty. We would never had called them to fix it otherwise. We told them who told us the warranty for the part was one year and the person we talked to wanted to know who and when we called as "they had no record of the call". We explained we wanted a refund of the service fee as we were told it was covered under warranty and they said no. They were rude and had no customer service. Obviously they never fixed the problem in April or it would not have broken again less than a year later!! Then they called a few days later to "repair our dryer"??? We called back and explained they were calling the wrong person as we had never called them to fix our dryer. They cannot even keep their records straight of who to call. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company for anything!!! I believe they should have refunded us the money as they told us it was covered. They were rude and have no customer service skills.
