Great group of people working there. There was a particular item I wanted, but couldn't find it at any other gun dealers or sporting goods stores nearby. I wanted an entry level product, and didn't want to spend thousands, since it's not a tool I will using very much. They happened to have it in stock and I got it before the July 1 taxation. Gotta love California. It's a very supportive atmosphere for those who choose to exercise their 2A rights. Besides that, they have a decent selection of fishing equipment and camping supplies. However, the majority of patrons seem to be gathered around the ammo & gun sales dept. The prices on some accessories were a little high, but I got a discount...they do give military & LE discounts. I don't think they do NRA discounts though, from what I understand. They have more staff available than at Sportsman's Warehouse, I didn't have to wait that long as I usually do at S & W, although I do enjoy shooting the breeze with the good folks over there also. Went to this location for the first time for Black Friday today. I arrived about an hour before they opened at 8am and stood in a line that wasn't so bad. They had an employee outside managing the line and handing out tickets for specially priced, limited items. The way the planned everything out worked great and kept the experience tolerable! This location is similar to any other Turner's. The only difference is the layout of the store. Given that I went during Black Friday, so it was more crowded than normal. I'm pretty sure the employees' good attitudes and the fact they they were prepared to handle a crowd helped a lot. Every question was answered without delay. It seemed that all of the workers were in the same page and they knew what deals were going on and were just very informational and straight to the point. We mainly came here to check out their specials on handguns, ammo and accessories. I'm glad we did because it was a great sale. I did observe the normal prices just to be aware of how much I was actually saving and though I got some major discounts in there today, their regular prices are actually decent. This store had a great selection of handguns to choose from, again, like any other Turner's location. I definitely will continue to be a customer and will consider this location when I'm in the area. read more

By far the worst place to buy a gun in the valley and we are limited here in Temecula. They never have enough people working the counter no matter what day of the week it is and there staff isn't knowledgeable on what they stock or sell. Heard a sales associate say the two handguns were identical even though one was striker fired and the other hammer fired. Additionally, instead of managers jumping in to assist their employees they walk around and look at you like you are a suspect in a criminal investigation. Walked in and was rudely "greeted" by an associate who literally said "what do you guys need"? I said we were looking for guns to which he replied "we ain't got none" . It was clear by the line of people waiting in the firearms section that they had some. We walked over and grabbed a number. When we were finally called we asked to look at a few guns. Regardless of any excuses, like an unforeseen surge in gun and ammo sales, the service there has always been atrocious. Take a number and wait a couple of hours. Again, It has always been like that COVID excuse or not. Two people work the gun and ammo counter with 40 people in line. If you make an appointment to pick up your ammo the first they do is have you take a number (like normal) and you wait with everyone else....so the appointment is useless. Go to other local stores in Temecula and Murrieta. Turners will just infuriate you. read more

I don't know what happened to Turner's in Temecula worst service ever I've tried calling three times to talk to somebody in the fishing department and every single time no matter what time it is they say that they're at lunch I've been down there twice nobody there to help me the other day they said the guy was at school he'll be there at 11:00 I waited an hour never showed up never called in so I figured okay I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and go there on Saturday afternoon I just called before I drove down there and they told me there's nobody there to help me absolutely incredible they've lost over $1,000 in the last week and her forcing me to go to sportsman's which I hate to do but at least they have somebody that works in that department, called and asked to speak to a manager was on hold for 15 minutes no manager ever came to the line so I just hung up Turner's sporting goods in Temecula you guys are horrible and are losing a lot of business I wish you the best read more

To All the people who are giving bad reviews for the wait time at any gun store is pathetic. I mean everyone walks in with their own agendas and wants to be in and out, but I mean common, you have to know going in it's gonna take sometime unless you did your part and woke up early to be first in line. But NOOOO!!!! Most of the complainers woke up without an alarm, and was I. No hurry to get to the store but as soon as they see the wait the day is ruined and they put that vibe off onto the others around them. Most of the people in a Turners or other box box stores are going to be first time gun owners and have questions, they're excited and nervous, they want to see and hold every gun in the store twice. Let them enjoy it, if only you could remember back to your first purchase you might relax a bit. Plus remember, they showed up early. Staff here is AMAZING, from front house to back. Literally the best experience as a first time firearm buyer. Salesman Gregory G. was sooooo nice!! I felt really nervous and intimidated walking in because I had no idea what the process was to purchase a firearm. Greg explained everything in detail and was very thorough. He pulled out so many guns for me to check out and was very knowledgeable about each one. I ordered a lower for my riffle They said it would be arriving in a week. 2 weeks later they said it would be be in tomorrow. 2 weeks after that they said the order hadn't even been processed yet. Asked for a refund they unapologetically had me wait for 1/2 hour, then gave me back my driver's license they had kept from my 1st visit. If I could select zero, I would have. The customer service I received this afternoon was horrible. The clerk used the F-bomb at least a dozen times in front of me while I was shopping. He never addressed me when I went to the counter to purchase my items, he had his head down on the register. When I put my things down, .instead of picking them up, he told ME to move my items to him so he could scan them...WHAT? Excellent Customer Service, Great selection of handguns, rifles and shotguns. They have everything in organized rows. Ammunition, gun cases, holsters, clothing nothing was left out in stocking the store. I've been looking for a Ruger LCP380 for a long time, none of the other gun shops in the area have them and didn't know when or if they where getting them in. Was able to get on sale $299 saved $100. The Shootist quoted me $459, Steelwater $500 and Faith Armory i would never do business with. Check the place out great service, easy to do business with, if they don't have they will get it. Also it's nice to see a father buying his 10 year daughter a new shotgun for her birthday. LOL she wanted the pink shotgun, she ended up with the standard black. read more

Came here for a transfer and Mike E was very nice and got the paper work done for us. He was very cool and made the process go fast. As for the the store they do carry a very large selection of guns, ar, riffles etc and accessories. They also have very good deals advertised that keeps them going strong. My reason for the 4 star rating is because the pick up process is ridiculous and takes way too long compared to my experience anywhere else. read more

This place is a joke, COVID aside, went to purchase a shotgun, knowing full well nothing was in stock. Took the gun safety test, passed and was told it would be a 2 hr wait to get to the gun counter, no problem. Got up to the counter paid for safety license, then asked about the particular gun I was looking for and the guy tells me, they don't carry it, but they do sell the brand, told me they can't order it, pretty much "tough luck buddy" was the attitude I got. No help or suggestions on pointing me in another direction just silence. Wasted 2 hrs of my Saturday, I've had this problem before with the staff at this store, figured I give them another chance to earn my business. FUCK THIS PLACE AND THESE PEOPLE!!. I will never set foot in this place again and I will encourage my friends to do the same. Would give them a minus 1 if it were possible. read more

I stopped here to meet a San Diego-based customer of mine for a mid-point private party transfer. This is probably the largest Turner's location that I've been inside so far, it's *much* larger than the one in Pasadena. Parking spaces are quite ample outside. The ladies working the cash registers were very nice to deal with. The store has the usual large selection of goods that all Turner's locations seem to be stocked with. The majority of our interactions were with the store's hunting department manager (Adam), and also (to a lesser extent) the store manager. Not a whole lot of emotional labor from these gentlemen, but I will say that they were both extremely polite and professional. I should also note that I didn't detect the wretched look or attitude of "uggh, you guys are here for a PPT?!?! I wish you'd GTFO!!!" from them, which I've unfortunately encountered at quite a few other gunshops in my time. Thankfully, the staff at *this* location seems to grasp the concept that I may actually come back here later on to buy something from them if they can resist the temptation to treat me like a leper. As a bonus, Adam efficiently knocked out the PPT in record time ... I think we were in and out after maybe 30 minutes, which is quite good for a Turner's (it seems to usually take about an hour or more at the Turner's in Pasadena). All things considered, this Turner's location seems to be a pretty solid shop, and you would be well-advised to check it out if you are in the area, and looking to enhance your capabilities for self-preservation. read more

No the rude man with a long beard proclaimed. "You have to show up at 7:00am and we will call you later in the day to come inside. And we are full for the day" I get the Covid-19 hype, but have a little courtesy for your customers. Also, what kind of a stupid policy is it to call your customers and expect them to come running? I came back today after getting all of the information that was needed and had a totally different experience than any of the prior times I came in. Another young lady, whom was a manager as well, indicated by her colored shirt, was a lot different than whom I had been dealing with before. She was a lot more patient with me in dealing with making sure paperwork was filled out, what was missing, and making sure to explain anything that I questions to and ensured that I was good before leaving. It is all about the recovery. I bought a gun safe on Saturday afternoon. Got it in it's spot in the house; cleaned the outside and was ready to open it and set up the shelves, etc. But....it would not open. NO, NOT USER ERROR- this one opens initially with the backup key so even a simpleton like me can't mess that up. I jiggled, tapped and racked, everything I could think of but it would not open. Sunday morning I tried again fresh, but no luck. I brought it back to the store and the manager (Richard?) got it to open while applying some persuasion to the lever. It was still sticky though so he swapped it out with another one. Thank you! My only gripe with Turner's (all locations I have visited for the past 20 something years I've been a customer) is the wait time to get help at the gun counter. I would really give this place no star, but I can't. Came in 02.24 for a 80% arms easy jig. Temecula was my last hope and when I found that they had one I was excited. When I got home, I opened it and everything looked fine until I picked up the bags and saw major rips... Pick it up and fingerprints were all over it and was already oily with NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL. I was pissed, but Temecula is quite a drive for me so I couldn't go back even the next day. Came in today, 02.27 and they refused to refund me. I did not spend fucking $130 for a used jig. So lesson learned: Turner's sells used items at brand new/retail prices. Maybe I should trust the swap meet next time. read more
