The ladies behind the bar were wonderful, drinks were strong and cheap and fun was had - I love golden tee and they had all the NFL games on the TVs. Free pool on 7 foot diamond tables on Sunday until 4 pm WST..... Awesome! Only three tables but if you get there early your all good. Usually i come on friday afternoons o my day off with few buddies for a few hours to have a few beers and play pool. Usually a good experience and the staff is great...however the last two times i have had a few drinks i didnt order added to my tab.... once of the day shift and once on the evening shift. Im sure it was just a mistake but i do look at what the check is just to make sure its good....both times it was already closed out and i was told there was nothing they could do about it. I was offered another drink to compensate both times. The last time i was there when this happened one of evening shift bartenders gave me a hard time about it and claimed i was to drunk to remember....that pissed me off and im pretty i can count. i dont want free drinks or attitude i would rather be the check be right. It would be nice if they let you review your tab before closing it out just to make sure the check is good. I wont be leaving credit card open here again until that changes or just pay cash. read more

I play at this bar for the local pool league, and normally its a normal bikini bar, pretty girls and decent service, however on 1/7/19 when I went there, there were 2 new girls, all went well until It came to pay the tab, which was $15,50, I told one of the blond girls that that I want $80.00 and she can keep the balance, she came back and gave me $20 and said here, I told what the hell is this, she then told me that's what you said, told no way I,m tipping $60.00 on a 15 tab, So repeated what I said I want 80 and u can keep the 4.50, then she gave me another 10, told her to get the manager then she slammed, down 79 and said here, which is still not right, that is so messed up I will never tip another girl there, and for everybody watch you money back read more

Drove down here from Hollywood to check out the pool scene. It's a spot with 3 diamond tables so assumed it's a pool bar with strong players. Didn't find much here other than good equipment. No shooters, mostly packed with thirsty men trying to get somewhere with the servers. Service a bit slow but professional. Bright lights, cheesy vibe. Overall a pretty weird place but had 2 break and runs so enjoyed the experience. Wish there were more bars with diamond 7 footers in LA. Prob won't be back but no regrets. read more

I'm giving them a one in terms of going here to watch football. My friends and I wanted to try a new spot for Sunday football. Showed up at 9:45am and no one was in sight. Signs outside were promoting Football Sunday as well as email communications. I wouldn't recommended this place if you like to show up early for the morning games. read more

I've been going to this dive since the mid nineties. The new owners have really revived this place. Full bar, cute tenders and good grub most nights. Definitely worth a stop, if you're in the NB area and don't want the deal with the kooks and cops on the peninsula. read more

Turner's Pub is not what you think it is. All of the bad things you may have heard about the place was not Turner's Pub - it was the previous place (Eye Candy was the name, I believe). The place has new owners and it is a great little bar to come hang out at alone or with some friends. I came in with my wife last night (who was hesitant to come here due to the reputation of the old place) and she instantly loved it! Here's what we both think: PLACE: Clean - really clean (including the bathrooms); bright - definitely not dark and seedy like some other places; and other typical bar stuff (signs on the walls, etc) ENTERTAINMENT: Plenty - There are televisions everywhere and they have DirecTV for all of your sports needs; pool tables; dart board; new / digital jukebox; I also think there were some arcade games like Golden Tee STAFF: Amazing! Our first girl was Nessa and then Taylor came at shift change. Both of them were sweet, fun, talked to us a bunch, and made us feel welcome. And, well, they both are quite good looking. My wife and the girls were instantly friendly and talking non-stop. BOOZE: Cheap! Happy Hour lasts from 4-8, much later than other places; they have a full liquor bar so I had two shots as well as the beer which was only $3 during HH. I also saw that they have a much bigger selection of alcohol than you would expect such as a bunch of wine, Chive (KCCO) beers, and others. Can't beat the prices. ATMOSPHERE: Very chill - It was a rainy Tuesday night, but there was still a sizable crowd and they all looked like normal people having a drink after work. Everyone just hung out, had some beers and watched the games. We mostly just hung out at the bar talking to the girls, but everyone looked chill. FOOD: We didn't eat, so I can't comment on the food. OVERALL: Great place to come! My wife and I go to countless bars, restaurants, etc., but we also love having 'our spot' that feels like home - where we know the owners, staff, regulars and can just chill and laugh while having some drinks. We used to have that at another place that closed down a couple of years ago and since then, we haven't been able to find a similar place. Well, we think we have just found our spot! Fun bar, with fun and beautiful girls. The owners are amazing and seem to always be around greeting people. Locals make this place fun, and it's a great spot to watch any sport on huge flat screens. I ordered a pizza and a Bud Light-- did not get my pizza for an hour and a half after I ordered it, and to my surprise the pizza that I had ordered was just a literal Totino's pizza. 5 stars!! Pub33 is my favorite spot in Newport! The girls are super nice, the air conditioning is always going, and they have great music. I love coming here with my guy friends and my boyfriend because they like to play pool(their tables are great quality) and I get to sit at the bar and hang with the bartenders. So nice to see a bar with attentive staff, an excellent variety of drinks, and more than enough fun and entertainment, and all in one venue! Even the patio view of the sunset is inviting to the clientele, and that's without mentioning the delicious sliders being cooked outside by chef Kurt, a timid individual who knows how to express himself through his food!
