Nice bar. On your way in you pass the smoking patio and bbq grill. When you walk in you are greeted by pool tables. Seating along wall. To your left is center tables for groups. And then you find the bar along your left. Good seating. Draft beers are visible along with liquor bottles. Lots of TVs to watch games. Lakers were on. Good surround sound. Had pacifico draft. The staff at turners is amazing great attitude and great service except for management/owner who quite unsettling refused access to my service dog which i had Prof of registration and identification and while only being there less than a few moment's which BY LAW is UNACCEPTABLE for a SERVICE ANIMAL and handler to be denied access and was told to not even allow my dog to wait outside while not causing any sort of disruptive behavior regardless we had left as to not disrupt the staff while they worked. I highly suggest the owner of the establishment brush up on the laws and rights of service animals as it's a violation of legal rights. I came here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon with a couple of friends. There's a little parking lot and free street parking all along Newport Blvd. I'm guessing this place gets busy at night, cuz they started setting up a grill out on the patio for the evening crowd. The patio area is small with a few tables & chairs AND allow leashed dogs...love that! I would just say that you should first ask how much the shots are...in case one brand is more than what you'd like to spend. There are lots of big screens inside, 3 pool tables, shuffle board, darts, and smoking skimpy clothed waitresses & bartenders. The gals that work here are great! Beautiful, friendly & don't leave much to the imagination...lol! Our waitress made sure to ask if I needed anything else before our pizza arrived. I feel like she was paying extra attention to me being the only girl with my two guy friends...and being the second female in the bar at the time. I like that she was making sure that I was comfortable...just in case I was uncomfortable around a bunch of men & her 1/2 naked co-workers. But I wasn't...I think more & more bars should allow their ladies to wear or not wear whatever they want. Authentic Mexican street tacos! Everyone says they have street tacos, most lie. If you like the actual kind of tacos you buy at 2am in TJ, come here on Tuesday, Friday or Saturday nights. Josephina will hook you up. Also the girls are beautiful and the pool tables are Diamond. It feels like a dive but I left a $300 pool cue there last week and several days later it was still in the office when I went back. This place is great. I've been about ten times and you'll see me there again (only on a Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday though for the tacos) I wish every night was taco night! read more

This place is a great place to hang out be it your just looking for a cold one and watch some TV or shoot some pool. The pool tables are all very well maintained and they also have shuffle board and golden tee. The girls all seem to be outgoing and fun they all seem to make great and a lot of the time halarious conversation, with a bonus of being great to look at. Even with all of that the service is still solid Britney the day manager some how manages to pump out drinks while still making time to talk to everyone and joke around. Went there today during lunch time, very bad service. I saw two guys walk in sit down for 15 minutes without anyone asking them what they'd like to drink, after 5 minutes more they ended up leaving. It seems the bartenders (Brie and Mandy) were more interested in other guys buying them drinks and socializing with them at their tables then seeing if their other customers needed anything. I've seen at least 4 guys today walk out because they couldn't get service. That's not good for Pub 33, or their customers base. I'll find a new Pub to spend my money at. read more
