This post has nothing to do with plandemic conditions, this is all about the food. It's a completely hit or miss if food is good or sucks. Been over a dozen times and I would say more than half the time over cooked. Have gift certificates from family and won't waist my time to use them. Food is over priced for what it is. Was in the area and was feeling Italian, Have been to many other Tuscan's over my life and first time at this spot, Its giant! and super pretty, very similar to all the rest! So I knew what I wanted to eat, I often eat the same thing in most places, I know not really adventurous, but I know what I like and I like it - It does usually always tend to be the most expensive ish too, LOL - Im classy, NOT!! So I knew I wanted the Four Cheese Raviolis with Mushrooms on top (I get them and add shrimp) so the special that night happened to be Mushroom Raviolis, and I mentioned to the waitress, now I need to decide which ones to get as their were two, she was like we dont have other Mushroom ones, and then proceeded to argue with me - UM... Ive been ordering them for years, Then I realized the difference the ravioli itself wasnt mushroom but the mushrooms all over the top of them was what I meant, but I understood the difference now, but in my mind I was DONE!!! No reason to argue with a customer, I get what you THOUGHT I meant, but yeah - the debate and her tone didnt need to happen, so I ordered the special one because she guilted me into them but they were the best thing ever... and I probably wont come back to this location because she just turned me off from here, but I will def continue to visit Tuscan Kitchen because the food is PHENOMENAL! I have to say, I was a little thrown off as I read the Yelp reviews before heading to Tuscan Kitchen. My boyfriend and I had plans their for our six year anniversary. I decided to give it a chance even though reviews were not great. We made a reservation and my boyfriend made a comment in the reservation that we were celebrating an anniversary. We didn't necessarily expect anything free but an acknowledgement would have been a nice touch. we've been to other places who have gone above and beyond with nice touches. We got the grilled octopus, brassato di cingh the haddock. The food was generally decent/ok. Not amazing, not bad though. The service was a little slow. I didn't mind because I didn't have anywhere to be, but it did take them a while to come get our drink order (we were outside and it wasn't that busy). We ended up being there for two hours. Just a bit slower than one might expect. When checking out, we had a Phantom Gourmet gift card that's supposed to be accepted. They were having some issues with the machine I guess, so I guess they were trying to contact Phantom Gourmet about it with no solution. I did look up the gift card while the waitress was there to show her the balance was $100. We felt that they should have accepted it since we showed them live that it had a balance but instead we ended up putting the full amount on the credit card. We ordered more than we would have based on the gift card, so it was disappointing that they wouldn't do anything like that. All that said.. the food is decent. I don't feel like many restaurants in this area are going to knock your socks off. Would I return? No. read more

Way overpriced, food was mediocre at best and the service was awful. We had a group of 16 the last time I went and our boss had to stand outside our table for about 12 min to ask for the check because no one came around. Came to Tuscan kitchen on a Sunday night for a late dinner. We were unfortunately those people who showed up at 8:37pm when they closed at 9 but they still sat us at a high top in the bar area. Table was comfy, restaurant was empty, TVs on with the celts game playing. There's outdoor seating. The bathrooms are a trip down the stairs and a hallway. Put out order in quickly because we knew what we wanted. Onion bread and olive oil came to the table while we waited for our meals. I got the Toscana salad no ricotta, can't wait until I can eat cheese again because it would definitely compliment this salad. I also got a side of brown butter sage sweet potato, amazing! First time here. The place is spacious & clean. Started off with the calamari dish & bread. Both were delicious. Loads of flavor! Our entrees were also fantastic. The bolognese dish was amazing, complexed with layers of depth of flavor. Their shrimp fusilli was done beautifully. Shrimp & pasta cooked perfectly with pesto & pancetta bits. For dessert, we had the caramelized banana tiramisu. That was so good, ordered one more for the road. Ron, our waiter, may the whole experience so enjoyable. read more

I really enjoyed my outdoor dining experience last night. Our server Chris was the best. I wasn't very hungry, so I just got the Mozzarella En Carozza, and it was just right. Others at my table got the salmon and go there for it often. I just loved the atmosphere with all the white lights under the tent. We want to love Tuscan Kitchen, but each time we give them another opportunity they fail to meet expectations in new and creative ways. Tonight we had a wonderful server but the food was terrible and rather than make it right the chef essentially argued that it was cooked perfectly. Tonight I was served very undercooked scallops that tasted raw and fishy. The server took it back and the Executive Chef explained that they cook to a perfect medium rare and that they checked and the scallops were perfect and perhaps I should order something else. I found this to be an odd response, but I played along and ordered filet which they brought to me 15 minutes later as my wife ate her meal while I waited and then brought a poorly seasoned steak with the wrong sides and took nothing off the bill and offered nothing to improve our experience. This place charges a premium price for poorly executed dishes served in a beautiful facility. Standards should be higher and customer satisfaction should matter, but sadly the only thing consistent about this restaurant is their inconsistency. Please do better Tuscan. read more

Slow service, understaffed, pretentious menu, and badly prepared food. We ordered the chicken parm with rigatoni - the food had a good flavor, but the pasta was an overcooked mess all stuck together, the breading on the chicken was soggy - like it was cooked in a microwave and there was very little sauce or cheese. We had a long wait for the food and it was cold when it finally came out - as was the coffee. But wait ... there's more. Not just bad food and bad service - but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. No salad included, never got any bread - even though we asked twice - and the price for this disaster of a dining experience was nearly $70 before tax and tip. Never again. Pasta was warm, chicken was ok Felt very sorry for the group who were next to us as they ordered before us and when we had I finished they still had not received their food. We had dinner here last night. We were seated a a bad table that was freezing and waited an hour for an actual drink. We asked for the heat to be turned on and it was for a while and then it wasn't. We finally were offered a new table in the restaurant. The waitstaff person was nice but really bad at service. She forgot our appetizer, we had to go get our drinks from the old table,, never came over to offer to get new drinks. The food was horrible pasta was really bad and really over priced. Our plates were never cleared by our server and we had to ask random people passing by if they would take them. The place was packed so no need to worry about customer service. They did bring us one dessert to make up for the horrible experience! I will tell as many people as I can about our rotten horrible ridiculous experience. read more

Went here for 1st time New Years Eve. Not impressed. Food horrible. Neither my husband and I liked our meals. His too much going on and mine too bland. We tried the scallop app and for 3 scallops they were burnt, no flavor (other than burnt) and way overpriced. Service was very slow and we went before the rush at 4pm. I genuinely don't even know what to say about this place. It always seems packed, so we figured maybe it would be an improvement from its sister restaurant, Tuscan Market. We were wrong. When my husband made the reservation online it asks if it's for a special occasion. He noted it was for our anniversary, unfortunately this was not mentioned or made special during our visit. The chairs outside are very uncomfortable. I ordered two drinks and felt nothing. When we initially sat down it took 15 mins to be greated and brought some water. Our appetizer was the burrata and they forgot the mustard. The cheese was great but the bread and sauce were not. My husband's meal was lackluster but mine was awful. I ordered the gnocchi and asked to sub. The lobster for chicken. Cool. I was still charged the full lobster price but the kicker was the portions. There were three maybe four pieces of gnocchi and bites of chicken. For $44 there should have been much more served. But it wouldn't have mattered. The sauce was so salty I couldn't finish. We made a reservation for 13 in the wine room this past Sunday night. While making the reservation, we requested two waitstaff based on the size of the group, but were reassured that one of their senior waitstaff would be tending to us and would be able to handle the workload. We arrived at 4:00, which is the time we had a reservation for. The "room" was not setup at that point. Apparently the restaurant had another reservation in the same room and didn't allow enough spacing between reservations to account for setting up the room on time for our reservation. Also, we had centerpieces delivered to the restaurant with explicit instruction as to which party they were for, and the staff put them on the table for the party before us. Thankfully they didn't take the centerpieces with them when they left. When they say wine room, this is misleading. It is not a room in the sense of a separate seating area. It is a two sided room with floor to ceiling wall racks and open ends, which other restaurant patrons were cutting through on their way to the bathroom. We were not sat until 4:40. We were immediately greeted by our waitress. About 15 minutes later, she took our drink orders. 30 minutes passed before everyone received their drinks and only half of the drinks were alcoholic. The rest were simple soda orders. It took another 30 minutes for her to take our food orders. We then waited almost an hour for salads we ordered to begin being served. The main course was not served for another hour. Once served, one of the dishes needed to go back to be remade do to being overcooked (was supposed to be medium rare and was well done). In addition, they completely forgot to make one of the dishes. 30 more minutes passed while we waited for those two dishes to come back out from the kitchen, which had all of us eating while those two people waited. The only thing the came out in a reasonable amount of time was dessert. During dessert one of our guests pulled the Manager aside to talk about our experience and voice their concerns. She seemed very passive and to be giving our guest lip service. Didn't really seem concerned or promise to remedy the situation. By the time walked out, four hours had passed. I was apprehensive about going to Tuscan prior to this experience, based on their lack of any traditional Italian dishes on the menu and the amount of seafood. This experience reaffirmed my previous decision and I will not be returning. Let me clarify, this was NOT a failure by our waitstaff, this was a failure of the management and poor oversight. read more

Not impressed with the menu or the food. Very good Red Sangria though. Group of 5 and we shared some apps. Grilled Octopus (I didn't try but people seemed to like it.) Margherita Pizza (burnt bottom and undercooked crust) I had the Tortelli Brasto (basically a ravioli stuffed with braised short rib). There was no short rib to be found. I had bad heart burn all night. Only one non ravioli pasta dish on the menu. Our server was excellent, pleasant and accommodating. For the price the value is not there. I came back for a business lunch, not by choice. They are still 1 star. Their service has slightly improved. Last time they put me at a little table by the stairs. Patrons we're constantly brushing up against our table to get by, their jackets brushing along the top of our table. They had the air conditioner on in January. I ate with my coat on, shivering, nose running. Our waiter said she couldn't turn down the AC because they didn't want to inconvenience the patrons in the center of the room where it was quite warm. She also wouldn't move us. Food was lousy and overpriced. This time I was at a pharmaceutical sponsored dinner and my entire team had a bad experience. The ambiance is fun, bright and upbeat. The host never looked up to greet me - just barked a table number and the sweet girl seated us. Ordered the bolognese and salmon.
