We were greeted with a friendly staff and treated to an amazing meal! The tortellini dish was superb as was the mushroom appetizer. All the different dishes had unique and great flavors. We have been touring the Mediterranean for the past month and this was by far the top place we have eaten at. A must try if you're in the area!

Stopped here after seeing Sagrada Familia. Their seafood paella was very tasty. It was nice to have pizza as an option for the kids as well. The tomato bread was flavorful and a simple dish. They saved their few outside tables for people ordering food so we didn't have to wait too long. Friendly servers.

Classic tapas and pizza near Gaudi's spectacular Sagrada familia church...order the shrimp, the jamon, tomato bread and of course the Patatas bravas. 1 Small beer and 1 Cava under 35 euros !

Anastasia was a great host for us. She is from Russia and was so sweet and generous to us. We had so many good tapas. My favorite was the Spanish baguette with tomato spread on it. Many good tapas that were really filling. Nice lighting inside. Great Italian meal.

Amazing location with a view of La Sagrada Família. The pizza was absolutely out of this world and the service was exceptional! Shout out to Ros and Yuri!!

Service was friendly, attentive and welcoming. The pan tomato, mushrooms and squid ink paella made a great Spanish meal. The paella took about 20 to 30 minutes, arrived hot and was cooked well. The black rice was visibly striking and had a strong but not overwhelming seafood taste. The mushrooms were tender and buttery. I wish there was more variety in the mushrooms, but it was still very good. The tropical sangria was fruity, refreshing and not too sweet. The ambiance was casual and relaxing with light jazz music. Overall, this was a great restaurant.

This is 4.5 rating. This review is based on our first trip to Barcelona. H Found this place after visiting Sagrada Familia walking nearby streets. Loved the food. One of the best sangria! Great pasta, paella, coffee, and dessert. Tried to visit again on our 2nd trip to Barcelona but didn't make it here. Will make it a point to visit on our 3rd trip. read more

Convenience, not comfort. Friendly staff, lively conversations, and insipid food. If the owner had paid attention to the quality of ingredients, the place could have been a knockout! However, with nearly 200 million visitors to Barcelona, a good number of whom make the trip to La Sagrada Familia, the owner's clearly not incentivized to prioritize quality. It's a shame. Reasonable prices for tourist area. €13 for paella. Pizza special with drink was €8. Came here for the views during lunch before our visit to Sagrada Familia. Friendly staff with passable English. read more

A nice little restaurant to grab a quick bite and drink especially if you're already in the area for attractions like the Sagrada Familia. I went on a Sunday night around 9:30 at night, and the place was pretty empty. The staff and the owner were very friendly and gave me great recommendations on what to eat. I ate the roasted vegetables with Parmesan and the meatballs. Both were great but a little pricey for the quality and quantity; it was over 15 euros not including tip. However, the free bread they gave me before my meal was delicious and made up for it. I left very satisfied. read more

Delicious!! I had the lasagna special, and it was so good. I actually split it with my mom and grandma because we weren't that hungry, and it was very filling. Came to eat lunch here after reading the great reviews. We had some time before our Sagrada Fam tickets and were hungry and wanted to get out of the sun. It did not disappoint. Staff super friendly- salad, grilled veg, tiramisu and espresso were all perfect. Sat inside in their backroom. It wasn't air conditioned, but not hot or stuffy. Excellent food. Large salads. Very tasty chicken. The lasagna is to die for. Very courteous service. The first time we went by they had a power outage so the owner personally walked us to a nearby restaurant that he recommended. When we returned, he remembered us and made sure that we were well taken care of, although the entire staff seems friendly and courteous. read more

The meatballs were dry out of the freezer. The lasagna was definitely 3 days old at least. One of the worst paellas I've had...rice was undercooked, meat was overlooked, the shrimp was the size of a fingernail. All in all, not a good experience. Go to the rambla for better food. If ur hella hungry and impatient like I was, just suck it up and to somewhere else. read more

Very close to the Sagrada Familia. And the server is very welcoming and nice. He continuously checked if we liked the food. The food was nice, but not amazing. This is the best food I had while on a short trip to Barcelona! I split a seafood paella with my grandparents and it was to die for! Both the seafood and mixta paellas were great, but the seafood was the best. Our waiter Victor was wonderful! It looks touristy from the outside, but is definitely worth a try while in Barcelona. This was by far some of the most delicious Italian food we have ever had. The restaurant is owned by Italians, per the waitress. Who by the way was awesome! She had great recommendations and was super funny! We had the polenta with mushrooms and the patatas bravas for appetizers and the lasagna and seafood spaghetti for entrees. Great place! Sangria was very good, best sangria I've ever had. I had the Milanese chicken which was good and moist but not my favorite. My husband liked the chicken parmigiana. My brother thought the paella was ok. My sister in law really liked the speciality pizza. I liked the pizza too. The bread was so good and freshly baked. I couldn't stop eating it and they didn't charge for the bread like other places. The waiter was awesome and super helpful. He spoke good English. The prices were about the average in Barcelona. Overall good experience at this restaurant which was a short walk away from la segrada familia. I recommend this restaurant, if anything have the classic sangria and have another one like we did. Small but great atmosphere and fresh food. read more

We had a nice dinner, we were a bit skeptical when we saw it was both Italian and Spanish fare, but both were great!! The kids devoured (as did mom) the spaghetti with tomatoes sauce and we enjoyed the Spanish omlett, meatballs and tapas of the day. All delightful and the staff was great! 4 of us eat with 2 alcoholic beverages for 30 euro, good deal! read more

Save your time and money and do not eat here! I was sucked in by the raves about the paella but I found it awful! The rice was hard and gummy, the clams and mussels were tiny, and when I broke off the head of the shrimp it was filled with green liquid. Overall, it was pretty flavorless. One of my kids was happy with her spaghetti, and I do have to admit the tomato sauce was good. The other kid had the margarita pizza, which I also found to be sub-par. Husband found the tapas acceptable. I can't recommend it for the view as we were seated in the back room. The staff was friendly and attentive, but that was about the best thing there. Don't go to this tourist trap, there are much better places to eat in Barcelona. read more

OKAY, my favorite restaurant in Barcelona. Truly the best paella I have ever had in my life, refreshing and delicious white sangria, amazing bread and papayas bravas.... sensational. A little off the beaten path which is so nice, and a cozy and friendly atmosphere that locals and tourists both seemed to love. The Sangria is AMAZING. Made by one of the waitresses there I think and she, along with the rest of the staff, were so very friendly. We went for drinks and tapas and stayed for an hour and some change but it was the highlight of our day, honestly. read more

Food was a solid 4 but the service was an absolute 5! They gave us a free sangria as we waited for our take away order. The sangria was delightful and then they let us pay for a pitcher to go! They gave us one of their plastic pitchers and just asked us to return it tomorrow. Very impressed with their service and kindness! Would rate it a 4.5 if I could. read more

My Greek salad was very authentic and was as good as any salad I had while I lived in Greece. Very fresh vegetables, great Feta and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp scampi under the Tapas menu with garlic was equally good and oh so tasty. The smallish inside restaurant is best described as rustic and a tad warm. Instead I opted for the outside dining area, which has just a few tables but offered a very pleasant ambiance in the small side street this business is located on with low foot traffic and a very nice breeze on the warm day I dined here. The relaxed dining on the outside is definitely the way to go here especially during the summer months. From a negative standpoint, certain aspects of the service were too slow. I was seated pretty quickly upon arrival but I waited a tad bit too long to get my order in. Once ordered though, the food came pretty quickly on a positive note. However, for all intents and purposes the service stopped at that point where I had no follow up and literally had to walk inside the business to get my bill. Overall, the dining experience was still great for me slow service aside as the quality of the food and outdoor ambiance far outweighed the negatives. I would say if you are in a bit of there rush you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a relaxing dining experience with great food than this business will be definitely fit the bill!
