Well, wow. Our friends introduced us to this gem. The restaurant is casual but has an elevated bohemian vibe. Service was quick and friendly. The wait staff held the door for us despite carrying a tray of drinks. The star though is the food. My husband got the schnitzel (served on cheese grits and smothered in a lemony arugula) it was amazing! I had the salmon but with fries. Truly delicious sandwich and hand cut fries, all delicious. Our friends say they've never gotten a bad meal there. That's something these days because restaurants can amaze you one day and disappoint you the next. Make this a must visit restaurant if you're in the area!

Ate here for the first time this week. Been looking for a good spot between Canton and Alpharetta and this is it! The heated outdoor patio was a great environment. The food was amazing. The crispy outside on the fish sandwich was excellently prepared and the fries were homemade and done to perfection. The grilled salmon sandwich looked spectacular as well. My friend I ate with said it was his favorite thing on the menu. The service was excellent and super helpful navigating my first experience. I'll be back and I highly recommend.

Loved this place !! Food is delicious, service was amazing ! Food comes out very fast and prices are fair. It's a house looking building but very cute inside with wine bottles decorated in the front and cozy inside. They do have their own parking lot and area. Very nice restaurant for lunch, date, and family friendly. I want to go back and try more. I loved my shrimp and grits

The hanger steak was surprisingly tender and flavorful. Only negative was wide range of meat temp as in some pieces were medium rare and some well done. Overall it was delicious. The fries were hot and great flavor. Also, the salad that came with it was fresh and tasty. The shrimp and grits were just ok. Tasted more cheese and salt than needed. Also not as creamy as I expected. Good number of fresh tasting shrimp in the dish. The pizza for children was very good as the little guys enjoyed it. The pasta dish on the children's menu did not look as appealing. Service was attentive/very good.

It's a quaint modernized farmhouse (sounds oxymoron, I know, but the inside has a new industrial feel to it, while the patio area overlooks pastoral Milton). Our server was a young lady, very calm, careful & collected, but we were also one of only a half a dozen tables, so that's probably why she didn't seem rushed. The weather was cooperative, unlike most almost summer days here in Georgia, so we sat on the patio. The fresh cut fries are good and crispy as per my request. My fried grouper sandwich was texturally on point with the fish cooked perfectly, however, it didn't have any personality other than the crunch of the batter and slaw...no salinity, no acidity, no sourness, no spiciness, nor sweetness. Come on chef! Give me some flavors to savor. Add some sesame oil to the slaw dressing, some peppadews, pickles, olives, or hot honey so that it's not just the creaminess of the mayonnaise that's pulling the slaw together. Season the flesh of your fish with some salt & aromatics (thyme, lemon, smoked paprika, etc) before battering it, or put some granulated garlic or onion in the batter itself. You're mostly there, but the sandwich as a whole lacks depth. Hopefully my critique will give you some ideas to breath a little more life into a decent dish and make it soar. I'll definitely be back to check in on the changes.

Fantastic service. Love the ambiance. It's off in a kooky little location that you almost miss, but you're glad when you find out.

They are pet friendly on the patio and I had my boyfriend waiting outside with the dogs while I waited at the hostess station. The hostess was on the phone modifying a take out order and it took over 10 minutes for me to even be greeted. From what I remember in my hostess experience, you always serve the customers in person first - turns out this to go order was calling to get double sauce on their pizza and the hostess ran to the kitchen twice while I was waiting. Eventually, someone else greeted me and took me to a table outside. Our server was prompt, but actually kind of rude, and we were not impressed. I ordered a white pizza and it grilled chicken and my boyfriend got the meat lovers pizza. The price was standard for 2 pizzas and alcoholic beverages, but we much prefer other places in the plaza.

The building is…read moretucked away between a couple of large Alpharetta neighborhoods and has a true community vibe - it really bonds those living nearby together. There's parking in the dedicated lot that wraps the building, but while eating there I got the impression that most of their business is takeout. I visited while in the area with my brother-in-low who used to live nearby - it's a classic no-frills pizza joint where you order at the counter and the food is made to order - I went with the stromboli option while my BIL went with a calzone and I must say that it was perfectly made in a classic NYC style (the ingredients are pretty specific with more spicy salami and a finer vegetable chop). In a word, delicious. The place is a bit divey like I wrote, no frills so don't expect china or cloth napkins, just decent food at a decent price. Service was about as minimal as you can get - friendly but for the most part you have to ask for anything that's not already at the table or found near the napkins/forks. I'll be going back.

Wood fired pizza is one of my favorite food groups and being new to the area, I was looking forward to this visit. The prior visit to the Alpharetta location for non pizza items was frankly disappointing. Hmm, the pizza is one of the most disappointing wf pizzas that I have experienced and this pie certainly is nothing like a pizza from Campania, Italy. Obviously, someone has $$$ to invest in this growing local chain. It is time to stop growth and find a new head of culinary operations to revamp and improve. The crust lacks the signature complex layers that should bubble up from the extreme heat. Maybe the kitchen crew forgot to crank the heat as the dough is bread like. As you can see, skimpy toppings and spices on my non cheese order. I was so excited that I ate a piece in my car before leaving the parking lot. It is even soggy when too hot to eat. Skip this place unless you are seeking Americanized dough tasteless pizza and other food items.

Food came out promptly and I drove it straight home for the family. The pizza was some of the best I've had in the area and I will definitely get that again. The buffalo wings were pretty generic tasting and the lemon pepper didn't have any discernible flavor. In all I would not get the wings again. My kids raved about the penne and red sauce with meatballs, saying it was the best they had ever had,l and my wife enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip. I would normally give 3.5 stars, but am bumping it up to 4 since the kids loved their meal. Overall, I would go back for the pizza, pasta, and dip, but skip the wings.
