I was looking for a quick breakfast place, that was open early and was within walking distance of the convention center- with the help of my fellow yelpers I found this one. Located in the bottom of a larger building (not sure whether offices or residences) it took a minute to find the door (which is off the interior lobby). I got a breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese, and a large latte. There are a few tables back in the lobby so I ate there before heading back out into the chill. The price was right (although had gone up considerably from some of the other menus posted on Yelp) and the sandwich was not at all fussy but was tasty. I'm in Denver at a conference and an early riser, even in Central Time. I was stoked this placed opens early and are a quick walk away. They have elevated breakfast sandwiches made to order. Coffee is delicious. There is limited space inside, so you need to take your food to go. I got the salami one on an everything bagel and a Tuscan mocha. It survived the 10-minute walk back to the hotel and wasn't soggy at all. It wasn't the most stuffed bagel I've ever had (that award goes to a place in Philadelphia), but I enjoyed the bagels crispness. It wasn't chewy or rubbery at all. Ordered a Roman bagel sandwich this morning and found pieces of plastic wrap stuck to the prosciutto. When I brought it to Phil, who was working, his response was dismissive and rude saying, 'it's just a piece of plastic, you can take it out.' I also tried to order a matcha latte, but was told it couldn't be made without sugar, which seemed unusual. Overall, not a great experience, especially for a $13 breakfast sandwich. Stopped by this place before exploring downtown Denver. Phil is the owner and he took our order. He is very welcoming and open. He gave us great suggestions. Our sandwiches were hot and made to order. The bread was my favorite part. It had a great crust and then soft on the inside. They also did not skip out on the fillings. We also got coffee. I got the salted caramel mocha iced. The coffee was strong and a slight bitter but the sweetness of the Caramel and the salt balanced it out perfectly. Every one else really loved theirs as well. Was in town for work, I have a boring 5 hour seminar I need to sit through. I don't hit up da Bucks, and this was close to where I just got off the shuttle/bus at 16th & Stout. It's located near the corner at bottom of an office building, only a couple people in line when I came by. Morning pleasantries exchanged by the staff and I. I told the gentleman I would like a triple vanilla latte and I would like to try that banana bread item. Only took a few minutes to get that all together for me and I was on my way. Coffee was good, latte was made nicely and perfectly hot enough to warm your hands while walking down the sidewalk to your destination. Banana bread was pretty darn good, a lot of banana flavor, seemed like real banana and made in-house to me. Prices seem about what I thought it would be, staff was friendly. So I had the opportunity to conduct an experiment, yesterday being a two Cappuccino day. Got one here, and second one at Starbucks next to my hotel. No comparison - this Tuscany Coffee & Deli produced a far superior product. The steamed milk was heavenly, great, firm foam carefully piled high and wonderfully flavorful espresso and milk. Starbuck's was good - but their foamed milk was limp, and the espresso was poured through it. I didn't expect such a difference, and maybe it's just due to different ways of making this classic barista offering. But I'm back at the Tuscany again today, enjoying the best Cappuccino I've found in Denver downtown. read more

What an excellent place to grab a coffee or a delicious sandwich. There is room in their eating area for a group of friends, or if you just need to work on something by yourself. If you want to work here, and are considering interviewing, don't! The owner seems like an incredibly nice guy, until it comes time to actually start the interview process. He won't ask you ANY questions whatsoever, besides if YOU have questions. He seems to like to put you on the spot (which is fine in theory), but then seems to dislike whatever you have to say no matter what it is. You'd almost be better off if you started interviewing him!! He's so shoddy when it comes to responding to you post-interview that it almost feels like he *has* to be ghosting you. How discourteous!! I bet it's a lovely place to work, but don't waste your time interviewing with someone who values his time multitudes more than yours. read more

If you don't get anything else when visiting Tuscany PLEASE get one of the bomb fruit smoothies!!! OMG! The Mango Tropics is my all-time favorite but the berry smoothies are also delicious. I have to also mention how good the fresh breakfast sandwiches are ( I recommend going with the buttery croissant bread). The guy (who I believe is the manger) is the nicest person and really takes his time to walk you through the menu if you need it. There are a ton of great sandwich and coffee options. This place closes super early and isn't open on the weekends so it may be difficult for some to get here in time but for those who work/live near by I highly recommend making this a breakfast/lunch stop! read more

Walked here from our hotel to grab some coffee and breakfast. The drinks were okay and the food was just okay too. I would have given 4 stars, but our sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches had a slice of tomato in place of the sausage. That was disappointing considering we had already walked back to our hotel after waiting a while for the order. Overall this seems like a good spot if you're in a pinch and don't have too many options. Just check your order before you leave. The guys behind the counter were very nice. Can't comprehend the low rating, this place is amazing. Just moved to Denver from Houston and this place is quickly becoming our favorite breakfast spot. I can't speak to the lunch items, but the breakfast food and smoothies are top notch (get the mango tropics smoothie!).
