It thus gets packed in a few seconds. It offers (firstly) coffee based drinks. It does have a kitchen where they make more than just pastries and the like. It's definitely more than a simple coffee shop for sure. Service, however, was quite basic. The lady upfront smiled but hesitantly. She wasn't rude but I simply didn't feel welcome. Hence describing their current customer service system or skills as "good" might fuel their egos (wow, did I really say that?? LOL!!) My quad latte was decent/good. I could have done less espresso shots as it sure was strong or too strong (this wasn't their fault; it was mine.) Yes, in conclusion, the shop can and should refine its service (upping it one more level might draw solid raves from the people). Well. The organic beans did their duty, though my nervous system could not tell the difference between these sustainable crops and the regular kind. The drink did its job with no particular ambition. The prices are exactly what you expect when you buy a liquid near expensive historic architecture. There is a five percent surcharge added to the bill. Three percent of it goes to preserving the old station, and two percent goes toward a fair wage fee for the staff. This means you are paying for history and economic justice at the exact same time you are paying for espresso. The staff members moved with the heavy, unhurried rhythm of a long afternoon. Nobody was unkind to me, but nobody seemed terribly excited about the grand human comedy of caffeine distribution either. They simply, eventually, handed over the cups. If you need to drink something before you walk out into Wynkoop Plaza or board a train, this establishment will do. It is fine. Some days, fine is all the universe has on offer.
