Stem Ciders Off Dry Apple Cider, Tustin RedHill Red

Hubby and I were so happy to find a brewery close to home! We actually walked here - took us about half an hour or so. The brewery had good vibes all around. When we arrived, they were pretty packed, but we were lucky enough to snag the last two seats at the bar. We wanted to grab some drinks and chill before we went off to our next spot for dinner, so we did exactly that. First round: I got their dry apple cider, and he got the RedHill Red. Both were very tasty - and service was fast too! Onto our second round! I ordered the Brewery X Huckleberry Hard Seltzer, and he opted for the Honey Blonde. Very good choices again. We both left in a very good mood, and def look forward to trying more of their beers on tap! Glad to find a brewery close to home with great service and selections!

First time at Tustin Brewing this past week and I thought it was pretty cool! I loved the ambiance and decor, the service was nice and friendly, and the menu items were exactly what I was looking for. To eat, I participated in Taco Tuesday with a couple al pastor tacos, priced at $3.75 each. I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. The beer didn't disappoint either. If looking for a cool spot to grab a beer at in the area, Tustin Brewing is an excellent option.

A feel good family spot with good eats and great beers. Went for our annual Pliny the Younger drop and they were so great. Amazing service and staff. Definitely making this our new hangout spot.

George Wendt (Norm from Cheers) passed recently and so have the places where everyone knows your name. Well, they didn't know my name here, although our server Lindsey sure acted like it. Lindsey and the neighborhood restaurant vibe were the best part of Tustin Brewing. Their beer gets a close second. The "award winner" brews are delicious and have a good alcohol content.... Strong. The food is what you expect from a brewery. Not quite restaurant quality but not bad either, especially when you've have a few beers in here. They have a trivia night here on Mondays that are fun and another good reason to drink. As if there ever isn't a good reason to grab a drinks. Stay thirsty friends.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon with my husband and a couple of friends. The place had plenty of indoor seating as well as covered outdoor seating--including a designated smoking section. We were seated right away and started with a cider, a seltzer, and an order of chili cheese fries. The drinks arrived quickly, followed by the fries. Although listed as a side, the chili cheese fries were generously portioned--definitely more like a full entrée--and it paired perfectly with our drinks. Later on, we decided to try the Margherita pizza. It was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, we had a great time. The service was solid, especially considering we were seated outside. Would definitely come back for a casual afternoon hangout!

Ask the Community - Tustin Brewing

ANY regard for Covid safety measures?

    Is there a full bar?

Yes, they do! The bartenders are very skilled and I'm sure will be able to prepare your favorite cocktail.

I notice the menu on the website mentions a giant 12 egg omelet sold during NFL Sunday breakfasts. Is that still happening these days?

Yes, I believe they would honor it if you mention it.

How many TVs are there? Will different Sunday morning football games be on each TV?

There's plenty of tvs, except they're all kind on one section. Which is fine, closer to the door would be best to watch the games. Not sure if it will be on every tv, but I'm sure a majority. U can always ask to change it.

It's often hard for people to agree on whether one is good, bad, or great. I had several guests come over so I ordered large pepperoni pizza with green bell peppers and onions. We all agreed - It was great, lots of toppings and the right amount of cheese and sauce. Crust was perfect texture. It was ready when promised so I quickly drove it home to a hungry group. There are many pizza places much closer to me, but I had to try this one. I am taking a class at Orange Coast College and one to the cooler classmates (Simeon) told us how great their pizzas are at his location in South Irvine. But I went to the one at Jamboree and Irvine Blvd. It was great there, too. It's in a shopping center with lots of parking and a short walk to Ralph's to pick up some beer and sodas. We were in the Costa Mesa are before we were going to head out back north and my crew wanted to have this deep dish pizza again. What we liked was the crust was so good. It wasn't overly cornmealish like some of these "authentic" Chicago pizza places. I grew up out here in the west, so I'm used to a more flaky light crust. My first Deep Dish Chicago pizza was Zachary's in Berkeley in the Bay Area. This Costa Mesa location is located just south of the 405 at Harbor Blvd. Go to Baker Street and turn left and it's right there. Easy Parking. One thing you gotta know about the deep dish pizzas, they take longer to cook cause they're just so big and need more cooking time, like maybe 35-40 minutes, depending on how busy the kitchen is. We get a classic combo pizza and have some drinks while we wait. It arrives and oh boy does that look good. Dishing it out takes a little practice, but we're good at that now! Everybody loves the flavor and crust. This isn't the cheapest pizza round, but well worth the price and wait. You want cheap go to Straw Hat or something like that.

We tried the buffalo wings while we waited for the pizza. They were perfectly cooked and sauced. Paired with their own ranch, so delicious! We did the traditional 9" pan pizza with only pepperoni. (You just have to keep in mind, the pizzas take approximately 45 min.) The sauce to cheese to toppings ratio was perfect. The cheese pull was soooooo good! I love a good thin crust, and the fresh ingredients really won me over. The price is also very reasonable. A large pizza is under $30, which I think is a great deal--honestly, I'd even say it's on the cheaper side these days. They don't have different pizza sizes. You can either order by the slice or get a whole pizza. One thing I really liked is that you can split a whole pizza in half and choose two different flavors. That's definitely a big plus, especially when you're ordering for a group. The pizza itself is surprisingly light and clean-tasting. Even though you're eating pizza, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all, and I didn't feel weighed down afterward. Now, one small downside: you have to pay for water, and even hot sauce or ranch costs extra. Since the pizza itself is reasonably priced, I'm not really complaining, but... if I have to pay extra for every little thing, I can't exactly say I'm thrilled about it. I did really enjoy their habanero hot sauce, though! It had a slightly unique flavor that I really liked. After eating with my friends, I seriously debated whether I should buy a whole pizza to take home for the kids. I loved how thin and light the pizza was, but for my personal taste, it was a little... ordinary. It wasn't quite a "WOW, I have to have this again!" kind of pizza for me. So I decided to pass this time and thought, "Maybe next time if I'm in the area." Would I come back? Yes! If I get the chance, I definitely would.
