We were given a very good table in a private corner so that we could talk freely without disruption. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We never felt rushed. The ambiance is not the feature here, but there are nice river views and outdoor dining. We sat inside. The food was very good, even if not what I consider haute cuisine. For the first course, I had the watermelon and feta salad; it was nice and refreshing, even if the watermelon was a bit old. For the main course, I had a pork chop with a potato croquette, and my wife had the fish. We both enjoyed our dinners. We finished with two desserts: bread pudding and a Peach melba. It's a fun time either way to walk around and sample. I think you'll find something unique that you can't get at common grocery stores. The worker behind the counter was friendly, answered questions and explained the signs for each product that have ratings, nutritional info, etc. They charge a credit card fee of a few percent, but that seems to be the terms across this whole town.
