Cool spot! Came to support my friends boyfriend. I've never been here. They've got a few food trucks to choose from, lots of outdoor seating and fans!! Parking wasn't the easiest but for the area, make sense. There's 2 bars, service is decent. This specific event was open bar. Giving dive bar scene but very eclectic!

Oh how I dig this place. It's got the quintessential old school Austin vibe flying high. Probably one of my fave places to see live music. Li'l Nonna's being parked out front is a supreme bonus and same can be said for Zucchini Kill Bakery located on the property. Straight up proper vibes with a slew of groovy patrons, performers, and employees. It's like family. Prices are reasonable and the drinks are amazeballs!!

Very relaxing and quiet during the day. multiple food trucks and souvenir items tattoo parlor on the same site!

The one on the left in particular IM SURE IS RACIST. The one on the right is completely an asshole.

I want to make this clear before I start. I'm a very respectful person, I understand having a rough day, and I don't care for great customer service however, there's a big difference between just doing your job versus going out of your way to be rude. These two did the former Both girls were EXTREMELY rude. I'm unsure if it was racism, but asking a simple question (about my drink being made) led to the one on the left being very much hostile. The one on the right isn't better at all completely co-signed her coworkers actions. If you are not a people's person (which they were with white people btw) don't be a bartender. Asking the one on the left " Is this my drink?" Shouldn't be met with " Well did you order this!?!" A simple yes or no would've sufficed. If it's not in your heart to answer SIMPLE questions from people who are making your ends meet, work somewhere else. Never going back here.

Beautiful bar! Spacious patio with beautiful lighting. The bartender is splendid and knowledgeable about the drinks. Their happy hour is 3-6 pm. Although they don't have food there is a food truck that comes on the weekends, which I am looking forward to trying! They also have a cute little tattoo shop in the back of the patio area. 5/5 will be returning.

The short: great drinks, people watching and flanked by amazing approachable eats. Dog friendly. The long: we had time to kill and Tweedy's bar caught our eye. It was a rainy overcast day in Austin but Tweedy's features both indoor and outdoor seating (both covered and uncovered). Its outdoor seating has a tiered /graded style which makes it fun for people watching. Flanked by counter culture and zucchini kills for eats you really can't go wrong. Complex frozen cocktails and a oh so solid Sazerac. They are dog friendly and have a poop bag station for all your canine needs. Tweedy's is making the short list.

I've become one of those people. The ones who quietly drift…read moreaway from coffee and discover matcha... only to become completely obsessed. No regrets. And if my bank account would cooperate, I'd happily be drinking a matcha from Cafe du Bliss every single day of the week. This little family-owned café has completely stolen my heart. First things first--it's tiny. Like, blink-and-you've-missed-all-the-seats tiny. If your goal is to settle in with your drink, get there when they open at 9:00 because those seats disappear faster than free samples at Costco. (I've also noticed people walking in and immediately grabbing drinks that are already waiting for them, so apparently online ordering is a thing. My next personal mission is figuring that out because I clearly need this knowledge in my life.) Now... the drinks. Every single one we've tried has been exceptional. My personal happy place is their matcha lineup. The Strawberry Matcha? Outstanding. The Strawberry Cloud Matcha? Equally fantastic. The matcha is beautifully vibrant without that bitter, overly grassy punch that turns so many people away. The strawberry complements it instead of overpowering it, creating a drink that's balanced, refreshing, and somehow disappears far too quickly. I keep telling myself I'm going to branch out and order something different... but then I see that beautiful green matcha again and all my self-control leaves the building. The Banana Matcha Latte is officially next on my list. I also "borrowed" a few sips from my twins' drinks (that's what moms do). The Mascarpone Tiramisu Latte? Dangerously delicious. The Dalgona Brown Sugar Latte? Equally impressive. Honestly, at this point I'm starting to believe they simply don't know how to make a bad drink. The only menu item that didn't completely win me over was the Strawberry Banana Croffle. The croffle itself was lovely, but for my taste, the chocolate pushed it over the sweetness line. Without it, I think it would have been just about perfect. (For those wondering: A croffle is a Korean croissant + waffle dessert.) And here's the thing... One menu item that wasn't my favorite doesn't even come close to changing my opinion of this place. Not even a little. The drinks are consistently outstanding. The service has been warm every single visit. The fact that it's a family-owned business makes me want to support them even more. Finding a café that gets me genuinely excited to try my way through the menu is rare. Cafe du Bliss has done exactly that. Now if you'll excuse me, I suddenly have an overwhelming craving for a Strawberry Matcha...

My friends put me on to this place, and it did not disappoint!…read more This cute café is tucked away in the Arboretum shopping center in Austin. It's kind of hidden in a corner, so if you're having trouble finding it, I recommend using one of the large maps on-site to make it easier. I ordered the Banana Matcha Cloud and a Blueberry Croffle. After my first bite, I immediately regretted not ordering a few extra croffles for the road--but I guess that just gives me an excuse to come back and try the rest of the menu. If you're unfamiliar with croffles, they're croissants pressed into crispy, buttery perfection in a waffle maker. They're topped with an assortment of mouthwatering ingredients before being served, making for an incredibly aesthetic (and delicious) treat. They also serve warm, freshly made taiyaki with a variety of fillings that are just as tempting. This place stays busy, and for good reason. Even if there's a line, it's absolutely worth the wait. They move through orders quickly, the service is efficient, and the quality never seems to suffer. I left completely satisfied, and this spot has definitely earned a place on my list of cafés I'll happily keep coming back to.

There is a parking lot that you can get validation for 2 hrs free, but after that you will be charged. Overall though, it's totally worth a visit! The bartenders are really friendly, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the inside of the place is really cute -- think kinda pink vintage? There are some tables, and big comfy couches around a coffee table in the middle of the bar which is where we sat. I had one of their happy hour cocktails that was similar to a creamy espresso martini, and they are 50% off on happy hour days/times! My friend got one of their floral cocktails which wasn't discounted but I LOVED it personally. I also got a strawberry matcha drink (non alcoholic) that was a little too sweet in my opinion; I finished it but wouldn't get it again. Overall though the cocktails and vibe in there are worth a visit alone! When it's not too hot, the area outside has little mini-chandeliers and is also very vibey.

This is a review about the coffee and food aspect of Simona's…read more It is over priced. In terms of coffee, they are middle of the pack. There is much better coffee in austin. They have premium prices still. They sell pastries and they have a taco food truck connected to it. Both are still very much overpriced. I get it, they are inside a nice hotel and so they will charge a premium but at least have the quality match that.
