Visited Lynny's for a late afternoon lunch on a weekday. We liked the cute atmosphere, free parking, and friendly greeting we received upon entering. My friend ordered the Blue Plate Breakfast and loved it. I ordered the Deli Lunch but received the Deli Breakfast and ate it anyway because it looked good. The biscuits were fresh and crumbly, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I love the idea of an "everything biscuit" - why leave the fun to just bagels? The price point is great, especially for something on the East Side. We also ordered a couple of iced coffees which were made in front of us and had good flavor. Lynny's food was fast and fresh, and we appreciated the creative biscuit combos. Given the size of the biscuits, I'd probably order at least three biscuits for two people to split if you're both hungry. I am hoping they will add more sides in the future, like hash browns or a fruit cup. You can tell the owners really care about the success of their business and the quality of their diner. We will definitely be back to try more tasty biscuits.

TLDR: cute, casual breakfast spot on the east side with easy and free parking, but could be improved in a few ways. I saw a TikTok recently about the biscuits at Lynny's, and I was pleased to find a new location closer to me. My fiancé and I headed over at about 10am on a Saturday and were pleased to find free parking in the open grass lot next door. We easily found parking and then headed inside. The place itself is small, and has several tables and booths, as well as some counter seating. Right off the bat, we were a little confused as to whether we should sit first, order at the counter first, etc. It would have been helpful to have a sign somewhere, even by the register or by the door, explaining this. Every single party who came in after us were also confused and had to be told what to do. In the end, we realized you have to first order at the counter, and then sit down. Drink will be left at the counter when ready, and food will be brought to your table. My fiancé got the sausage biscuit and I got the good morning biscuit and a cappuccino. The food and coffee were ready pretty quick, which was nice! Coffee was good, and so were the biscuits. The biscuit itself is a tad on the sweeter side, which is interesting. They are also really small. We both found ourselves wishing they were larger. For context, I cut mine in quarters and ate it in 4 bites. Also, a few things were left to be desired. First, other than a larger biscuit, it would have been nicer if there was something in addition to the biscuit sandwich on the tray. Even 2 strawberries cut in half, or a few grapes or blueberries or slices of banana would go a long way. Second, and maybe this is just because it's a new location, the place inside is bare bones. The entire experience would be elevated if there was a bit more decor on the bare white walls. I love the green trim on the windows and the cool "fried egg" tile at the door, but if this style was reflected throughout more of the place, it could be a lot more welcoming and inviting! Third, it's a bit odd that there is no separation between the seating/eating area and the fridges and kitchen area. Even just a curtain or a physical divider would create a little more organization and privacy for people enjoying breakfast. Other than that, this is a cute little casual neighborhood breakfast spot with some tasty options. I know it's a new location and they will make improvements and changes along the way, and I am excited to go back and see what they continue doing with the place as time goes on!

Neither of them could finish their entire glass of beer, so I ended up chugging the remaining half of both of theirs. The customer service was so sweet--I was struggling to translate the menu with my mom, and the guy at the front desk was truly helpful throughout. It really raised the experience of this place during what could've been a relatively stressful situation. Dirty Horchata - I was hoping for a stronger horchata taste. It's not bad, so it was worth the shot! Just grateful it wasn't too sweet. My BFF felt the same, as we're both horchata fiends from growing up in Chicago. Cherry Cider - The cider has a tangy taste. The cherry flavor isn't as strong, but it's a fragrant drink. The flavor slowly became sweeter the more I drank it. It grew on me, but it wouldn't be my go-to unless I knew I was munching on something salty that night. Violet Blueberry Blonde - My favorite of the two. This one has a tamer flavor with a nicer floral note. It was exactly what I asked for. I felt like I could've easily chugged a few of these. The guy at the counter definitely chose a great pick. I love the low-key ambiance of this place, the peaceful nighttime atmosphere, the fact that it's wedged into a cozy nook, and how it isn't so LOUD like many bars. Didn't get bit by a mosquito while we hung out there for an hour, so that's a huge plus. They were probably chewing on my friends' legs too intently to consider me, though. Wish I had something like this near my place in Houston. I would regularly hang out here on a weekday, no cap.

Tons of outdoor and patio seating, a few tables indoors in the AC. I ordered the Flapjack, hot, with double espresso in a larger cup, with half sweetness (effectively a large with less services). Delicious saltiness and cinnamon! I really enjoyed this. I tried the honey lavender latte which they said was the least sweet of their fort favorites. The lavender flavor was very forward and there was a hint of sweetness on the back of the tongue, so very accurate. I didn't get as much coffee flavor here so maybe double espresso if that's important to you. Friends also tried the seasonal coconut macadamia latte (they said it was nice, like a sweet nutty flavor). Really solid coffee spot with great vibes, I'd come back.

I live quite north so Noble Joes was a bit of a drive for me and honestly it's good coffee but a bit overhyped in my opinion. I bought two lattes - the seasonal blackberry crumble ($7) and the sugar cookie latte ($6), and although both had a good flavor, they both had all of the brown sugar that was supposed to be in them undissolved on the bottom and as best as I tried to dissolve it with the straw given, I had to wait until I was home (about 30 mins) to get a spoon to dissolve it. Personally I liked the sugar cookie latte the best! I would probably rate the coffee overall as a 7.5/10- definitely worth trying at least once! Service- 10/10 the baristas were very pleasant! Coffee-7.5/10 Parking- 7/10 (no parking lot but easy to find street parking on a rainy/slow weekday) Price- $15.16 ~ 2 coffees + tip, pretty standard for Austin

Ambience - I really like the way this coffee shop was organized and all the decor and everything. Small outdoor space, cozy couch space, barstools, a bike shop... this coffee shop had a hip inner city feel to it, like it was meant to be in NYC or Chicago. The Matcha latte I ordered was good - I'll be honest, I can only tell when a matcha is really bad or if the proportions are very off. I also ordered a vegan kolache, and was very surprised by the amount of flavor in the vegan sausage. Would definitely recommend giving it a try. Overall, I really liked the coffee shop and would come here again to meet with friends or another date!
