Visited Lynny's for a late afternoon lunch on a weekday. We liked the cute atmosphere, free parking, and friendly greeting we received upon entering. My friend ordered the Blue Plate Breakfast and loved it. I ordered the Deli Lunch but received the Deli Breakfast and ate it anyway because it looked good. The biscuits were fresh and crumbly, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I love the idea of an "everything biscuit" - why leave the fun to just bagels? The price point is great, especially for something on the East Side. We also ordered a couple of iced coffees which were made in front of us and had good flavor. Lynny's food was fast and fresh, and we appreciated the creative biscuit combos. Given the size of the biscuits, I'd probably order at least three biscuits for two people to split if you're both hungry. I am hoping they will add more sides in the future, like hash browns or a fruit cup. You can tell the owners really care about the success of their business and the quality of their diner. We will definitely be back to try more tasty biscuits.

TLDR: cute, casual breakfast spot on the east side with easy and free parking, but could be improved in a few ways. I saw a TikTok recently about the biscuits at Lynny's, and I was pleased to find a new location closer to me. My fiancé and I headed over at about 10am on a Saturday and were pleased to find free parking in the open grass lot next door. We easily found parking and then headed inside. The place itself is small, and has several tables and booths, as well as some counter seating. Right off the bat, we were a little confused as to whether we should sit first, order at the counter first, etc. It would have been helpful to have a sign somewhere, even by the register or by the door, explaining this. Every single party who came in after us were also confused and had to be told what to do. In the end, we realized you have to first order at the counter, and then sit down. Drink will be left at the counter when ready, and food will be brought to your table. My fiancé got the sausage biscuit and I got the good morning biscuit and a cappuccino. The food and coffee were ready pretty quick, which was nice! Coffee was good, and so were the biscuits. The biscuit itself is a tad on the sweeter side, which is interesting. They are also really small. We both found ourselves wishing they were larger. For context, I cut mine in quarters and ate it in 4 bites. Also, a few things were left to be desired. First, other than a larger biscuit, it would have been nicer if there was something in addition to the biscuit sandwich on the tray. Even 2 strawberries cut in half, or a few grapes or blueberries or slices of banana would go a long way. Second, and maybe this is just because it's a new location, the place inside is bare bones. The entire experience would be elevated if there was a bit more decor on the bare white walls. I love the green trim on the windows and the cool "fried egg" tile at the door, but if this style was reflected throughout more of the place, it could be a lot more welcoming and inviting! Third, it's a bit odd that there is no separation between the seating/eating area and the fridges and kitchen area. Even just a curtain or a physical divider would create a little more organization and privacy for people enjoying breakfast. Other than that, this is a cute little casual neighborhood breakfast spot with some tasty options. I know it's a new location and they will make improvements and changes along the way, and I am excited to go back and see what they continue doing with the place as time goes on!

Their fried chicken sandwich was audibly crisp with fresh tomato and lettuce that I made two meals out of. To end the perfect meal... my husband actually coordinated with staff to create "Gender Reveal" pancakes! I didn't realize what they were until I got to the yummy surprise! Their cream is delicious! The pancakes were soft and sweet! The experience, unforgettable. It brought happy tears to my eyes and we really appreciate the thought and care put into our day. We will DEFINITELY be repeat customers!

I ordered the migas, and the amount of onions in the dish was overwhelming--so much so that it felt like I had ordered a plate of onions rather than migas. The masa cakes were definitely the standout item and were absolutely delicious. However, the rest of the dish fell short. The sauce was extremely rich, making it difficult to enjoy or finish the meal. That said, the restaurant itself is adorable, and our waiter was fantastic. The service and atmosphere were both great. While this breakfast wasn't a hit for me, I'll still return and stick with favorites like the fried green tomatoes and taquito salad, which were excellent during my previous visit.

Their burger is easily one of the best I've had in Austin, especially paired with their thin, crispy fries. It's my go-to order almost every time. One thing I love is that they switch up the steak portion of the menu a few times a year, and it never disappoints. Right now they have the steak au poivre, which is incredible, although I'm still craving their steak frites and hoping it makes a comeback. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, which keeps us coming back. I definitely recommend making a reservation since it tends to get pretty busy, especially during peak hours.

They specialize in crepes. They have a handful of small tables as well as couch seating. You place your order at the counter then the staff brings it to you once it's ready. I ordered my go-to drink, an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon as well as their Lox n' found croiffin. The latte was great. The Lox n' found croiffin comes with a toasted croissant roll, smoked salmon, ricotta, avocado, arugula, capers, pickled onions and dill. I added an egg for an additional charge of $2. This was a beautiful and tasty sandwich! It was very filling, too. I highly recommend checking out this unique spot!

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there. I believe you can also place your order online using the QR code on the table, but I didn't try that method. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers. The menu says it also comes with a side of roasted potatoes, but mine didn't come with that. The sandwich was delicious and filling, so I definitely didn't need them, but I do feel like I didn't get what I paid for.
