They had a pretty nice assortment of beers on tap and my friend had a Chocolatini that was really good. We loved our food - he had a BLT with fries and I had the Buffalo Mac n Out, which is Buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese topped with fried chicken. It was delicious and the portion was huge. The only drawback here was the speed of the service. Yes, they had a sign at the entrance saying they are short staffed in the kitchen and wait times may be long. I get that. But I really didn't expect a one hour wait for food at 3:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. It just seemed excessive to me. Despite that, we still would come back because the food was so good. We'd just not come during a busy time, and we'd plan to be here longer.

The Vermonster and my all time fav. FOS The FOS was pretty good. Had a unique flavor that I enjoyed somewhat and the burger was great except for the bread omg I was dying of dehydration. But, the gutts of the burger was great.

Service started good until waitress got a third table. Waited 10 minutes for a glass to pour the (already opened) beer in. Do NOT get the flatbreads...gluten free was basically raw dough and the regular was terribly undercooked...both drowning in cheese. Requested cheddar on potato skins, rather than mozzarella. Came out with obviously mozzerella. Sent them back and chef (putting it kindly) came out with a package of unopened cheddar to try to prove we were wrong and "not to order something you don't like in the future". Just rude and gross.

So I was recommended this restaurant by somebody and I am so happy that I went. It reminds me a lot of a restaurant in Bucks County, PA that I absolutely loved and wished could have been franchised. Twiggs is the closest thing to that. It is all American cuisine, but it boasts a really diverse menu with a variety of food selection options. I settled on Chicken Tenders and Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese at the suggestion of Camille who was my server and the bartender at the time. I also was craving a Margarita as I hadn't had one in ages and being someone that had worked many years in hospitality and had to make drinks herself for work, Camille's did not disappoint. It was sweet and sour at the same time and paired perfectly with what I ordered. Camille herself was very friendly, as was her husband Lance, who took the time to stop by and speak with me. Both of them were quite personable and made my dining experience that much more pleasant. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the service-it all deserves five stars and it was a great recommendation. I highly recommend it to anyone who is stopping through or staying in the Saint Albans area:)

Great outdoor AND now indoor dining. Impressive list of locally sourced draft, spirits, and menu items.

While on a week long get away to the northern fringes of Vermont, Saint Albans is always a pleasant stop. One extremely favorable stop was Twiggs along the main drag. We had just walked the Main Street and beautiful historic park. Scoping each stop and Twiggs won our vote. Seated outside along the sidewalk, just mildly traveled with passer-by's, with an umbrella above a quaint table. Beside us a storefront, closed for the day, displayed trinkets from another day and time. Our server arrived, and as usual I had asked to see the draft list, my wife a Resiling. I chose a local from St Albans, 14th Star Brewing, "Valor IPA" (and later the "Maple Breakfast"). "Just up the road to the right" per our server. Both beverages quenching during the later side of afternoon. A light lunch and following the Maple theme: A Maple Bacon Chicken wrap and a Maple Bacon flatbread. The Bacon and Maple Syrup both locally sourced - this is a great agricultural region. We share 50-50. Smiles of pleasure and relaxation could not be avoided. As we slowly knocked off the last few bites, we kicked back a little longer to enjoy a second round before heading off. Twiggs is a place to visit and frequent when in Town.

Despite the packed house, servers were friendly and reasonably attentive, and while the food came out slow, that's to be expected. I wouldn't say it was unreasonable at all considering the volume, AND they were churning out a ton of to-go orders. No televisions in here, which I loved, and a great vibe. Tons of people just having a great time. Great non-alcoholic drink menu. About to celebrate three years of sobriety, and I truly appreciate that. The food was good-great, depending. My wife got a salad with pulled pork and I got the brisket. Both were just "fine" and the meats desperately needed sauce. The brisket was pretty dry, which was disappointing. We also split a side of the smoked mushrooms, which we thought were good, and the pasta salad, which was unfortunately quite bland and not very noteworthy at all despite using pasta from the acclaimed Gallus. Now here's the sleeper: the dry rub wings were incredible. Some of the best I've ever had! Don't miss out on these just because they're on the appetizer menú. If I came back I'd just get a double order of these bad boys. Sweet and smoky and cooked to perfection. Absolute 10/10.

While I didn't have the chance to try any of the food, the service alone left a great impression! Tucked away with a beautiful terrasse in the back, it's the kind of place you'd almost miss--but absolutely shouldn't. The service was fantastic from start to finish--attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. The food was equally impressive. Everything we tried was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with portions that are just right. The beef and mushroom tartare was a standout--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced--and the braised lamb cavatelli was simply outstanding. The lemon tiramisu for dessert was the best ive ever had. Overall, a fantastic experience. Can't wait to come back!
