It was Saturday afternoon so we expected it to be busy but we opened the door and people basically spilled out. The place was absolutely packed to the rim. It was defiantly over capacity plus with Covid I was in shock. We literally couldn't walk in so we walked back to our car. Great brewery. Beers were very good, not outstanding. The sour was great- we ended up taking some cans home. They have a ton of outdoor space and had tables sleazed right inside for Covid concerns. Agreed with others that the food was not great. (And the good prep person was the only staff not wearing a mask, so eat at your own risk), but it's a brewery not a brew pub. It's there for beer, go down the street to Meredith center for lunch if you want food. Very convenient place, we'll be back. read more

We spent a fun and relaxing evening sitting outdoors and having our burgers, beer and cider. The service was friendly, they suggested their apple burger and I really liked it, it was the regular burger we love together with pieces of carmelized apples, delicious! After we paid our tabs, we were accused of drinking in the parking lot and not closing our tabs. They declined to give us basic human respect and dignity and treated us like dogs. My husband and I squealed with glee as we drive by a brewery not far from the lake spot we were staying on for the week. So of course I went onto yelp to check out reviews, menu, etc. as we have our toddler with us on this trip. I was shocked to see such just a handful of reviews and later learned they are under one month old. We headed there after a day at Clarks Trading Post and it was quite busy. They have a sign that states you order your beers and food at the counter and then find a seat at the big picnic tables (shareable if you are a small party as they sit 8. The place is literally two barns conjoined into one big room (red barn and a black barn) and they have a ton of board games and coloring books for kids. I was actually surprised by the amount of kids there! We enjoyed the flights and ordered some more beers afterwards. The food did take a bit long but there were a lot of people there and the kitchen staff seemed to be two people. The food was good, loved the sausage and peppers special, Mac and cheese (although we ordered the one topped with bbq pork and there wasn't any) as well as the bbq pork pizza which was my favorite as well as the warm soft pretzels. My daughter likes grilled cheese and I ordered it asking if it was cheddar as she won't eating anything else, and we were disappointed to see it was a ciabatta with pecorino or Parmesan melted on it which of course she didn't eat but she ate the chips and that was really it. I'm sure they are still feeling out the menu and this will be a great spot once they are up and running. We got stuck in a big rainstorm at a brewery so no complaints from me! read more

The servers are in such a rush to push you out the door and the food is prepared in a similarly rushed way so much so that our burger buns were burnt dry and the meat was as well. It's a really nice place to get to eat outside but honestly the food is constantly a miss and the service matches that theme. read more

Great beers (5 stars) with below-average food (2.5 stars). We had their breakfast stout, wheat beer, and double IPA. All the beers tasted very good. It feels like another brewery that built a brewery before they brewed the best beer they could. Great place with beautiful decor. Beer was average. The flight pours seemed a little light on the size. Listed as 4oz...but more like 3oz. They were more expensive then most breweries. Some $3 for each pour. The beers were average, some lacking more than others. They provide a plethora of board games and cards for entertainment. All around great place to stop and grab a beer and pretzel. Not five stars because I couldn't take any beer with me!!! Great set up. Large tables with an open concept. You can look down into the brewery which is pretty cool. Food: got the wings and buffalo dip. Wings were meaty and had good flavor. The buffalo dip with great and came with plenty of chips. Beers: had the Hayloft American Wheat- great taste and very drinkable. Followed that up with the Palmer town IPA- hazy, cloudy 'ew England style, went great with the food. Easy spot to get to with plenty of parking. I'll be retiring for sure read more

I'm not sure if the service is normal for this business but I'm guessing it is a result of COVID, if not that should change. All orders are placed at the bar and there are no servers. A bit odd but again if this is in response to COVID we should get over it. The beers were very tasty we tried most of them and we all had our favorites for different reasons, I particularly enjoyed the Lake Cruiser, my wife enjoyed the Keep NH Brewing IPA. We tried their pretzels which were served with a beer cheese sauce and Dijon mustard, the cheese sauce could have been thickened a little but the flavor was great, I wanted to drink it after we finished the pretzels but the wife wouldn't let me. For entrees I had the Hog Burger and the wife had the Cowboy Burger. They were very tasty, large and well cooked. The one downside is the burgers come with house made chips, they were good but I'm just not a fan of salt potato chips. I wish they offered up some seasoning to make them barbeque or something similar, it wouldn't be hard to do; its just a bunch of spices ground up in a coffee grinder and served in a pepper shaker. All in all we really enjoyed the beer and the food, we didn't play any of the games but there were plenty to be had. read more

There is no table service. I don't like that. I also don't like that the menu is limited and served in what I would call cafeteria style. The food was just OK. I was also very annoyed that when we went to pay that the credit card machine was pre-set to an 18% tip when the staff did zero work to earn that tip. That's the bad. The good is that the atmosphere is excellent. I had the pilsner and the blackberry beer tonight. They were excellent. We went for trivia night this evening and it was MUCH better than other local trivia nights. Really enjoyed that. Three stars. Came here for dinner and beer and both were great! We played corn hole while we waited for our food. The raspberry sour and the Lake Cruiser Double IPA we're both very good. The food was awesome and better than expected, given we assumed a brewery would have great beer and ok food. We split the bbq flatbread, pork Mac and cheese, wings, pretzels, and buffalo dip and all were fantastic and bigger portions than expected. My fav was the flatbread and Mac and cheese. We visited the new North Woodstock location and loved it! The beer was great, the employees kind and the atmosphere cozy yet romantic. I had the special experience of unknowingly asking one of the owners for help with my dress zipper. I was in the restroom trying to fix it and she was so kind and helped me. Of course when I asked to buy her a beer she refused so writing this review and giving my business is the best I can do. Go check them out! Great spot, I really like the rustic barn. Inside is nice and spacious with games to play if there just to drink, but I've heard from multiple people the food is outstanding, especially the pizza. GOOD! Probably 3.5 stars at this point, a month in. Really excited that this place is around. The inside is lovely, the staff is friendly, and it is a big spot. I hope they have plans to survive the winter months, when there aren't as many tourists in New Hampshire. My grumble is that I felt like the food was a bit of an after thought. And in this big of a space, it really shouldn't be. Specifically, they have a handful of burgers/sandwiches, but how about some French fries to go with it? Similarly, 8 wings for 12 bucks is 1) a little pricey for this area; 2) really should come accompanied with carrots and celery, like most any other place in America that serves it; 3) how about some chicken on the menu? Or a few salads? You guys are charging 12 bucks for wings, so obviously you're trying to attract a variety of folks...work on diversifying the menu! I don't know...I really liked the place. The stout beer was realllllllly good. The board games are great. I just feel like the price points were a little high, and I wanted to be more satisfied by the food. read more

Friendly staff and good beer make this an excellent stop on your trip to New Hampshire. I am a dark beer drinker and loved their Below Zero (if you're looking for an 11%er). Otherwise, their Porter and Blonde are delicious. I didn't eat any food but their burger and pint deal (Thursday's) can't be beat. read more

Great place! Nice selection of brews on tap, and I really enjoyed their wings with Carolina sauce. I sat at the bar that they had set up outside in the era of Covid-19. The bartender was really nice - she wore a mask the whole time. I was given a buzzing pager when I ordered my food, it wasn't a long wait at all, then I walked inside with a mask to pickup my food. The chefs were all in masks. Made me feel great and safe. I even brought my Frenchie with me - he stayed outside in the bar area. The bartender gave him a bowl of water it was nice to see they were dog friendly. I've driven by this place and seen it really packed, on this weekday late afternoon in July there were maybe 15-20 people there between the bar and the Adirondack chairs. Bonus points for having at least 6-8 cornhole boards set up. I'll be coming back for sure. read more

The reason for one star is because our first round we had the Sandbar Blonde Ale- enjoyable so I asked my husband to get another round. Well, the keg kicked after pouring mine so my husband got the new keg. Ummmm, wrong beer. It was very clearly the Hayloft American Wheat. Husband brought it back to the bar and they re-poured him the Hayloft since it appears to be tapped to the wrong line. Staff keeps saying it is the Sandbar. They are insisting is is just a different batch. Does your beer vary THAT MUCH in taste that you can taste the glasses side by side (mine vs husband vs friend that was drinking Hayloft)??? You would think a manager would do some quality control. I'm at least glad I got the last of the Sandbar, husband suffered through the very hoppy Hayloft. read more

Stopped by for lunch and a quick beer on my way to the lake yesterday. I have the say I was pretty impressed with Twin Barn. For food, we ordered a pulled pork sandwich and the meatloaf sandwich. The pulled pork was tender and smoky. I really wasn't expecting it to have that much flavor. My fiance loved the meat loaf. I think the only complaint we both had was that they were served with a side of chips. Maybe fries or tots would have been a better option. Overall I was more than pleased with the food though. Now for the important part: the beers. I ordered the Lake Cruiser Double IPA. It had a medium-heavy body, very hip forward, smooth finish. It's kind of scary that this one is 7.8%, because it has the mouth feel of a crush able 5% IPA. That being said, I was a fan. My fiance ordered the Palmer's Town New England IPA. It was described as having a deep laziness, which I didn't really quite see. It was more akin to a Maine Lunch. Great flavor, very hoppy, bright, but not too citrusy. If they start selling in cans, this would be a great one to bring to the golf course with you. Overall, I'd say it was a great experience. This place hasn't been around for long, and I think they have a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more
