My husband and I were returning home from Thanksgiving weekend in Cleveland Ohio when our car left us stranded on top of Rarity Mountain, Tennessee. After calling AAA and having the car towed to Twin City Nissan in Alcoa Tennessee where a nice man named Brown said we could leave it after hours and that they would look at it first thing the next morning. That was so nice, given that we were stuck out of state and were trying to get back home. The next morning we called and spoke with a man named Jodie, who said their diagnostic work showed that we had a blown head gasket. Ouch. That's a huge repair. We decided that we would rent a car to get back home to Atlanta and have the car towed back home a few days later. Twin City allowed us to leave our broken car there for on the lot for three days until AAA came and picked it up. Not only did Twin City Nissan NOT charge us a three day storage fee, but they also didn't even charge us for the diagnostic. (Our dealer in Roswell GA would have charged us $139 for that). They were so friendly and helpful and we can't thank them enough. The kindness and caring nature of the folks here helped make a crappy situation a little better. :o) read more

I would not recommend this dealership. Went in to purchase a vehicle and expected the online price. I was not planning to negotiate and was willing to pay cash. They politely offered the same price as online and then when drafting the paperwork, added a $3200 "adjustment" and $1500 for fees in the quote, making the "discounted" vehicle more than sticker. When asking about the mark up, they were honest and said that is their additional profit and that they do not actually sell cars at the advertised price. I went to another dealership and purchased the exact same vehicle without the markup and with reasonable fees. Buyer beware. They will use deceptive practices to mark the vehicle up. We started receiving mail from a lot of places, telling us we could buy a new car to start over. I was extremely skeptical, to say the least! I also called Darrell Waltrip in Franklin, just cause it was a bit closer to home, and both are big, well known dealerships. Then, I hear from Mike, at Twin City Nissan. They didn't have a Rogue, at that time, that they could put us in, bit my wife found a brand new, beautiful blue Nissan Sentra, lots of bells and whistles, that we could get in with 0 down! Our 16 year old wants that exact car, so we decided to go with it, then, in a year or 2, get the Rogue for momma. We got there, and it was a beautiful car. Everything was good to go! But then...plot twist!!!! Then had received a trade in, late the night before, of a '21 Rogue SV, pretty much loaded with everything but a sun roof, with only 21,000 miles on it....Mike told us about it, and it's just gorgeous! Of course my wife was instantly in love. Our doesn't even have his permit yet, and is in no hurry to drive, so bam!!! Wow, this place made it a lot easier to purchase a car than I thought it would. As a daughter of a retired successful car salesman (and F&I Manager) and former employee of a large dealership in my younger days, I thought I knew what to expect. But this was much more of a breeze. I contacted TSN about a used vehicle I saw online and and received a reply ASAP. I met up with Pete (Chaney) the following day and 3 hours later I was driving around in my new car. . Once I had decided on the one I wanted - negotiated a bit without hassle. Was able to get an excellent deal. All of the salesmen I saw were polite and they didn't seem to have that stereotypical car salesman vibe. One piece of advice - if you're going to be looking at used cars - make sure you check out the prices online as they are quite a bit lower than the sticker price on the lot. The service department rocks!! I'm a military guy and was coming to guard drill from over 2 hours away. While on the interstate in heavy traffic, I couldn't avoid running over a big piece of tire tread that had come from an 18 wheeler blowout. This unfortunately ripped plastic from my undercarriage, and the metal skid plate was dragging the ground and causing a horrible noise. I saw that this service department was open and pulled in, and before I could even get out of my car, one of the service techs was under my car working on the issue (cause he heard me pulling in and saw the problem...lol). In only 10 minutes, he removed the skid plate so I could get back home tomorrow without all that awful noise. They also wouldn't take a dime, they thanked me for my military service and sent me on my way. Thank you for helping this grateful guard guy!! read more

I got my first Nissan Murano from Twin City Nissan Alcoa. Mike Ledford and Adam Bunch helped me out after I was searching for like 3 days of something and I did always wanted an SUV and I'm a truck type of person. So they pulled one out from the back and brought to me surprised a 2010 Nissan Murano LE, it have everything in it and I love it. The only thing that took me a while to get used to it was the tire/driving with that skinny type of tire which I wasn't used to, I always drove a truck or heavy duty type. Everything else work just great, I just do regular maintenance on it and all that but I only take it back to the Nissan Twin City Alcoa shop for the services except the tires/rotation/balance, I get that at Discount Tire. So far if I had any confusion or anything, they help me right away and deliver great solution quickly too. I'd say I got lucky though, I got it with 70k miles and that was back in 2017. Very impressive Murano, I'd get another one once I ran this one out of work in the long run. Now with something new - I got my Husband a 2017 Nissan Versa (manual trans) from someone who was selling it locally and we decided to take it up to Nissan Twin City Alcoa. I did notice a big improvement after 60k mile service maintained for the car and it runs a lot better! Mad props as I'm new to the car. I'm a big fan of their service!!!! read more

Ok, well for starters it's a car dealership. We knew what we wanted when we walked in and also knew how much our cap was before leaving the house. Upon driving up it was like walking into a bees nest. All the sales reps were standing outside waiting to bounce on their next victim. We hadn't even stepped out of the car when one of them approached us. We test drove a car and really liked it all the while the salesperson said nothing about it and didn't really know much about it when questioned. We arrived back at the dealership all the while telling our salesperson what we wanted. They came back with a quote of the car we test drove....not the car we wanted. This went on for several hours with several cars until finally the manager came by to find out exactly what we wanted. We told him and told him that we want to know the TOTAL cost up front including all that hidden stuff (tax, deliver, etc). Talk about confusing! In the end, we purchased a car. Was it what we thought we asked for? No. Did we get the total cost up front? No. We thought we did but turns out we didn't. Did we get a good deal on a vehicle? Yes, we think so, thus the reason in not saying too much. Moving on to their detail shop. I wanted my vehicle detailed. They have three packages. I picked the middle one which was to be a wash, wax, vacuum and wipe down. They kept my vehicle for an entire day. When I went to pick it up I felt like I just wasted $50!! While it was washed and vacuumed, it wasn't wiped down and it was barely cleaned on the outside. Door dings were still on the outside (wasn't buffed out). Mud flaps were not washed. Rubber molding around windows and doors were not cleaned. Area between bed and cab was also still dirty. I honestly do not think it was waxed. We called about it and they told us to bring it back in. We plan to do this, this week. While that's great they are "willing" to correct the problem, there shouldn't had been one to begin with. read more

To billk@twincitynissan.com, who I understand to be the finance manager, I would have appreciated an email response from the you letting me know there is an issue with approval. Gina just called and I nearly missed the call actually, and because I simply state I am not use to a car company that accepts emails but never puts anything in writing, she starts screaming at me how I have been difficult from day one because I expect them to drop what they are doing and come off the sales floor to email me (when obviously it's the finance guy I expect to give me financial updates via the same method he is willing to use to take my financial information)... I don't need people getting hostile with me when SEVERAL companies have contacted me about a car loan, it's the worst customer service I have ever experienced, especially considering I was willing to drive from Atlanta to Alcoa, TN to finalize the deal this weekend. Not to mention I have not had an attitude about the fact that both Mike and Gina as "sales" people and apparent owners of this dealership had to be called multiple times before I get a hold of them each time, and do not return my phone calls, I have to just keep calling. That's not how it works in car sales, it's the other way around, and you make the person feel good about buying one of your cars, not like you are doing them a favor. The rudeness and attitude about a normal fact of business (putting communication in writing and not bootlegging it with texts and phone calls on the fly since telling me she can text ignores the fact that anyone can pick up someone's cell phone and see their personal business and I did not sign any consent to be sent my info via text message) is a big turn off because at the end of the day no matter my situation, there always is another company willing to finance me a car. I don't know how you all do business with all this disrespectful attitude but I'm over it, I will continue on with one of the over 20 other companies that reached out me about a car. You guys conveniently put something in writing when you wanted to give me a coupon in the mail and put my name on it to come buy a car from you but after that it's like I'm begging you for professional service. I can't even get basic confirmation the email was received. Should have known the place was unprofessional when I called the main number one of the first few times and got Gina at the doctor's office... why the heck is the phone going to you on your personal time instead of someone who is actually at the dealership ready to work, during work hours? From I had to get a second number to call Mike instead of them making sure the main number goes to someone at the job during business hours I should have seen the writing on the wall and just moved on. Gina's increasing volume and level of hysteria in her tone over a simple observation about their inability to put any part of this process in writing like any other dealership has done in the past is weird and the last straw. And telling me they "can't" email is a lie, telling me the finance guy "won't" email is probably the only honest comment the whole conversation, which I cut short and emailed bill this and will now move on to car dealerships that actually know how to deal cars... read more

We came in for a recall on my wife's 2008 Versa. We were initially not really looking into buying a new car this week, but when we had some time to kill with the car being worked on we decided to test drive a few things. Of course with any dealership you get the salesman up your face as soon as you look at your first car on the lot. Usually this is an unpleasant feeling, but not this time. Tyler King came out and wanted to know what we were interested in and what brought us to the dealership. He was very friendly and approachable. We test drove a few cars with him, and he was very calm. Robert was another salesman that was mentoring Tyler and helping us out as well. Tyler was pretty new at this, he told us during a drive. We had lots of questions and concerns about garage size, back seat room, storage etc. Robert did a lot of statistics with us and helped Tyler during the process a lot. We left that day, and went to a few other places and drove some other vehicles. He assured us that he and Robert would be working the next day and gave us his phone number and said to text him with anything we needed throughout our buying experience. The next day we decided to go back and get a new Nissan Rogue. When we arrived Sal greeted us outside. He was VERY PUSHY and kind of rude, and I was not a fan of him. He said that Tyler was on break, and he'd be back. We told him we would wait, but he insisted that they worked together and if he can do it so can Sal. We asked for the keys to a Rogue and said we wanted to test drive it again and make sure it's something that we liked still. Once in the car we text Tyler and asked if he could meet us back at the shop, as we were not very happy with Sal. He did, and Sal still remained trying to help us. Tyler finally talked with him and then Sal left us alone. Tyler is new, you can tell, but he was genuine and proficient. He gave us the buying experience that we will remember. We would buy another car from Tyler. If our initial from would have been from Sal, we would have gone elsewhere once our car was finished. read more

My wife and I bought a Nissan Rogue from Twin City Nissan late last year. As a Nissan owner they said we could park our car on their lot and they'd drive us to the airport and call them with our return info and they'd make sure the car was there for us when we arrived. Lou Esch is the Sales Manager and who drove us to the airport. We were out of town for a week and we called Lou from Denver and told him we'd be arriving at 10:30 at night and he said "no problem". We arrived on time and after picking up our luggage made our way towards the parking lot where we were expecting to see our car. Lou flagged us down in the arrival and departure lane and was parked at the curb, he was waiting there for us. I was amazed and grateful, especially after being in airports for the last 12 hours. I can't say enough about Lou and Twin city Nissan. If you are in the market for a car, look at a Nissan and if you want a great deal and better service, look no further than Twin City Nissan and Lou Esch. read more

Do not buy a vehicle at Twin City Nissan. We bought a brand new Pathfinder with an additional full coverage extended warranty. Started having problems with the hood rattling and popping open while driving on the highway. We have gotten no help from their service department. We have brought the car in several times to get help. The hood actually popped open while driving to there. They say this is not a problem, even though there are posting all over the Internet of the issue. We have brought the car in 5 times, but Mr. Gordon says we only brought it once. That's bc they did not put notes in their computer, for every time he went outside and adjusted these two rubber pins in the hood. They won't admit the hood is defective . They just keep adjusting the pins and it wobbles again and again. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY WITH NISSAN IS A JOKE. They won't cover the hood, a loud rattle in the door that has been there since day 1 or weather stripping that comes out and flaps around in the wind. Twin City Nissan does not back their warranties and the customers are not the priority! Too many problems to list them all! read more

Bought a 2019 370z heritage within 200 miles transmission sounded like it was going to fall apart and check engine light came on they told me it was a tune issue and they fixed it , left the dealer drove about 200 miles and check engine cams back on then was told there's no fix ! And they buffed my car to get out scratched and there are bigger swirls over the entire car and they won't answer ! And not one scratch was removed they just waxed it to hide everything once I rinsed it off everything showed back up but with buffer swirls and dull paint ! I know a lot of people in the car world and I will make sure none ever buys a Nissan or from a twin city dealer again ! Been painting for 6 years and have never seen such a screw up before !! I can't believe they knew it was this bad and tried to hide it with wax !!! Only works ti you wash it ! And had a horrible time purchasing the vehicle! Purchased a 2009 Civic with 50k miles, cash. Sales Rep said that it was inspected and had no problems. Driving it home I noticed a loud clicking sound, turned out to be a $400+ fix. Also the weather stripping was dry rotted and came detached within a week while driving, banging against the paint and window on the interstate leaving scratches. They said they'd fix it at no cost so I took it back to Alcoa dropped it off. They called me back and said it needs more fixes and will cost me. I refused their service and am taking it elsewhere. Be careful dealing with these people. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the Twin City Nissan dealership. I was traveling from NY and while in Knoxville, my car started making a concerning noise in the driver side front tire. I thought it might be a problem with the brakes so I wanted to have it checked out before driving 700 miles back home. I took it first to Fenton Nissan in Knoxville and experienced the worst nightmare of my life there. They ignored everything I told them about the noise and where the sound was coming from and insisted they couldn't even look at my car without me agreeing to a diagnostic test. They came back to me and said it was my transmission and it would cost me $6500 to have it replaced. I have a warranty on the car and they tried to tell me the warranty wouldn't cover everything even though I'd spoken with the warranty company who told me that the problem would be covered 100%, so all I should have to pay was my $100 deductible. When I confronted the dealership over this, they blew up and started screaming at me to shut up and that I couldn't have my car back because they put a lien on it. After threatening to call the police, they finally gave my car back, but told me that if I was to ever set foot on Fenton Nissan property they'd have me arrested. I then took my car and went to Twin City Nissan. They had no open appointments, but said they would fit me in and help me out. I explained the noise to them and they sent me out on a drive with the mechanic so I could point out the noise as we drove. Upon hearing the noise, the mechanic said it sounded like the backing plates and rotors and that he could take care of it for me. At that point, I told him that someone else had told me it was my transmission failing and he said, "No, that's not a transmission noise." He took it back to the dealership and had it fixed for me in an hour and my cost was only $175. Twin City Nissan was a DREAM to deal with and handled the situation exactly as a professional should. I will recommend them to everyone I know!! Brown Rudder and Stacy Williamson at Twin City Nissan are the best! They were a pleasure to do business with and I would go back to them in a heartbeat. read more

Being that I am a very inexperienced car buyer, I was extremely nervous about the overall process of purchasing a dependable car. A few days before my experience at Twin City Nissan, I had a rather terrible experience with another used car dealership in Knoxville. The salesman at the other dealership was pushy, unorganized, and was not in any kind of hurry to get me in a car. At Twin City Nissan my experience was the total opposite. The salesman, Mike Jones, was enthusiastic and personable throughout the entire process. He listened to what I wanted and worked with me until he found the perfect car for my family. While the Business Manager, Bill Keeton, drafted the paperwork, Mr. Jones took the time to sit and talk with my fiance and I, and he provided a carfax without me having to ask for it. Bill Keeton was also great to work with. My credit is not that great, but he helped me to finance a car without judgement or negativity. This was my first time dealing with Twin City. Salesman was very nice and knowledgeable. Not overly pushy as some can be. However, when time came to negotiate the price and trade, I saw how their sales manager really treats people! Was lured in with a newspaper ad that they then would not honor. Then they misrepresented the price of the vehicle by saying...they would sale me the vehicle for X price and pay off my trade. However, with just a quick glance it was obvious that the trade pay off was then added onto the backside of the loan. When I questioned the salesman he told me I was wrong. After I got up to leave he got the sales manager who proceeded to not only tell me I was wrong, but speak to me like I was an idiot. Incapable of understanding such technical math.
