Posting for my elderly mother that was just taken by Kirstin in the service department. She came in because the car was turning off when driving. She had recently done the spark plugs and fuel module but the issue was more of a throttle body type problem. Reluctantly she brought it here. Kristin told her she needed a tube up with new plugs and a new brake module even though it had just been done. My mother not knowing what to do asked me. The labor she showed me was double book labor on both all data and Mitchell . She then told her she needed crankshaft position sensor and wiring harness again double book labor. I called and spoke to Kirstin and had to tell her how to find proper book labor and she then told me she would remove partial time. It was still a blatant overcharge of labor. I told my mother she should tow the car away but she is elderly and just wanted it back. Kirstin adjusted some of the overcharge and eventually two days later my mom got her car back. Kirstin had a terrible attitude and when I tried to ask for her manager she said he wasn't available. I will be filing a claim with the state. Shame on you Kirstin. read more

Brought my truck in ON May 21 for an issue. They determined we needed a rear differential. We had warranty so we had to wait a couple days for work approval. It is now June 16 and nothing has been done. We get lied to everyday that the part is being shipped and it will be here tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and goes and here we are. We told the service writer just put it back together and we will take it somewhere else, she said they would not do that. So, now our truck is being held from.us amd they wont be honest about where the parts are. read more

We were new to the area and we chose this dealership seeing its reviews.. I had my van breakdown in Farragut but we live in maryville. It was something wrong with the power steering. So we called around and found this dealership to have it towed. Everyone was booked solid. When we got to the dealership the most amazing employee christen advised us it was very busy and they didn't have appointments until the following week on Friday, but they would try to fit us in earlier. Well between chaos of appointments and people calling in sick the car wasn't looked at by Friday. She called and advised us the whole time of progress which was amazing. We weren't happy it was delayed but out of her hands. They can't make sick people get better like magic. Our repair was much more costly than expected but it's a well loved car and used a lot. Overall experience was amazing even with delay. We will definitely come back but I hope it's not unplanned because they seem to be a busy location which I can understand due to their quality of work and amazing staff read more

I'm a retired Firefighter of 31 years. I purchased a 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 on August 18, 2025. I should have gone somewhere else! Two weeks later the battery dies and I'm stranded. I tried calling my sales person and his phone is restricted so I can't contact him. I emailed him and he calls me back. He said he's gonna look into it. It's been 48 hours. I also emailed Cliff, one of the managers. I haven't heard anything. I told him it sure doesn't look good for Harper Jeep Ram to treat a customer like this. I shouldn't have to buy a $200 battery after making a large purchase on a 2025 Ram. So the customer service sucks. I can not recommend this dealership. They say it's about the relationship until you sign on the dotted line. Then you are just a nobody. I'm sure business is so good they don't need to treat customers very good. read more

So here's a little update on corrosion issue on my jeep. 8/12 I take my jeep to Harper Jeep Ram Chrysler Dodge FIAT in Alcoa to take pics of the corrosion. They take pics and supposedly send to Stelantis (Jeep) for approval to start the warranty work. 9/10 I call for an update with the body shop. Left message with Drake(guy over the warranty work at the Harper Collision) and he said he would look into it and get back with me. 9/17 call and leave message with Drake because I hadn't heard anything. 10/8 tried to call Drake and left message. 11/4 tried to call Drake and he was off spoke to the manager and he said he would look into it and call me back. 11/5 manager calls back and said that nothing had been submitted because the names on the registration didn't match their records. I guess the previous owner had taken it in for an oil change? So he said that they would reach out to the dealership to see what the hold up was on repairing the corrosion. I reminded him that per the TSB from Stellantis that it's not repair but replace the parts. He said he wasn't aware. I sent him the TSB paperwork. 12/4 I call Drake again to see what's going on, he said he would call dealership. 12/4 I called the Dealership and spoke to a Ricky Stoots who said he would look into it. 12/5 Ricky calls back and says that nothing has been submitted because I hadn't signed the contract with the dealership for $3300 in case Stellantis didn't cover it. I was never in the 4 months told about a contract!!!! I contacted 5 other Dealerships around the Southeast and all said that they would never require that, as the pictures is what Stellantis approves. Luckily I still have 4 months left on my corrosion coverage. The 4 months of round and round is what pisses me off. If you don't want to do warranty work then just say it. Don't string along a potential future customer!!!! So if you are thinking about dealing with Harper Jeep you may want to rethink it. read more

I'm a 70-year-old man was in Knoxville My car broke down I had no choice but to take it too Harper Jeep ram I own a Jeep It would not start I drove over and asked in a company car if they could help me they said that they are too busy and the only thing I can do is disconnect the battery and put the battery cables back on at 70 so I did I had to have it towed in they gave me a 1:30 appointment at 1:30 appointment was a day and a half later they went to proceed and tell me that I had a dead battery and I had to buy a new one and I said okay my final charge out the door was what's $717 out the door for a battery at 72 I couldn't believe what they were doing to the elderly so I'm posting this so that if you're an elderly person be careful because I could about the same battery for 200 bucks don't you just love it Harper Jeep Chrysler you're the best read more

I have never been to a more courteous and friendly dealership with wonderful employees. We came in for a bad coolant sensor and radio issue. Tyler got us all fixed up as quickly as possible and back on the road. Got our issue taken care of with our warranty and we couldn't be happier with their service. Only 1 star is for Helen who answers the phone when you call. She was extremely polite, helpful, and understanding. I called the service center a week in advance, and got an appointment for 9:30am on a Friday. I arrive with my car around 9:20, and asked "will you be hanging out here to wait for it?" I said I had a ride to go back home and they said they'd call me after the initial $200 diagnostic before they went any further. Around 2 I get a text that says they haven't gotten my car in yet, they'll update me next week. I tried calling back and no one would answer from service, this is when Helen was extremely helpful, personally asking for someone to go get Jeff from service, and never even putting me on hold. In the end, I wasted a day, but was refunded the $200 diagnostic charge, since they didn't do it, and got my car back. In the end, find another place to take your car. The appointment time means nothing to them. read more

Do not buy a car here. Got a price today they had over $5k in fee's, nitrogen for the tires witch is complete snake oil. Also offered $7000 less for my trade than 3 other dealers and carmax. Got a price from another dealer in knoxville for the same jeep and same msrp and the out the door price was over $13k less.Be very careful when buying from them. Also watch out for the forman on the service side, he is very rude and actually swiped my wife's hand when she was trying to show him a issues with her car. this place is a joke. my trucks been there for 3 months. I took it in to have the glow plugs changed took 2 months and the broke one off in the head. had to fight to get that fixed by them. got the truck back had it two days and it broke down on my way home from work causing me to almost get hit by a tractor trailer. now another month later they say it's spun a rod bearing and that it's not there fault. they quoted 27000 plus tax to fix it. the service writer told me half way trough the new head the tech was unfamiliar with the engine in it and that he " watched some youtube videos" to do the work. they never answer the phone or return to phone calls. I have never in my life dealt with a shop or dealership this bad and how there in business still is beyond me. I will never own a ram or mopar product again. they need to own up to there mistakes and fix this truck but it looks like I will be dealing with ram cares and hiring an attorney 10 out of 10 I would never recommend this place to anyone unless they want to be screwed over read more

Have moved express lube to the old fiat building behind the dealership. Made a 10:30a appt, arrived early, and no vehicles were waiting ahead of me. Was asked if I was leaving the vehicle, and if not it would be one hour, that if I wanted to bypass a tire rotation they might complete in 30 minutes. Told them i would rotate my own tires in the garage when i got home. This is no longer express service and slower than any drive thru oil change in town requiring no appt. Either not a good change point for the dealership, or they need to improve the new process. read more

Our Dodge Ram was leaking gas. We had it towed to Harper from Sevierville where we had travelled for Thanksgiving. The service rep we worked with, Tyler, could not have been more responsive, helpful, and professional. He worked us in and got us on our way. the dealer where we purchased our truck had not tightened the fuel line during the recall so we were spewing gas. We have had the truck for about four months and it just happened. Tyler recognized we were in a bind and needed to get back to Murfreesboro. As an act of good will, he had the diesel mechanic tighten everything, and because the previous dealership had not done their job, he did not charge us for the repair. We were surprised and relieved, and Tyler was our hero! We highly recommend this service department!! If only every service center had a Tyler!! 10/10 read more

It took 1 oil change and 1 recall to realize that these Yahoo's (which I won't mention...Secret City Dodge, Ooops!) are incapable, incompetent, and no longer getting my business. Jim Hicks answered the phone, had the parts, and told me to bring it in any time because it wouldn't take any time at all. I brought it in, met Jim and the crew and was gone in 15 minutes. I wanted to write a review on Harper Dodge since they really went out of their way to help us during our vacation in Pigeon Forge. On our second day of our vacation, my front strap on my gas tank broke on my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 truck. I had just filled my gas tank so it was very heavy and was only secured by the back strap. The front of the tank was hanging down, just barely off the ground. We had to call AAA to have the truck towed. Fortunately, we broke down near a jeep rental facility so we were able to rent a jeep. Talk about bad luck and good luck at the same time! We needed a four-wheel drive vehicle to get back to our rental cabin which was located on top of a mountain. Uber was not going to take us up the mountain! The truck was towed to the nearest Dodge dealer which was Rocky Top Dodge in Sevierville. The following morning I called Rocky Top Dodge and spoke to a Dodge Service Rep. who stated that he was too busy to get the truck fixed this week. I told him I was on vacation and was scheduled to leave on Saturday and was hoping there was something he could do to get the truck fixed. I am basically stuck. He said to call back, he was going to have someone look at the issue. I called back and he proceeded to tell me that they could not fix the problem. He stated that the straps needed to be welded and they did not do that type of work. I said what? You're a Dodge dealer. I said "how can you not fix the problem. The strap on the gas tank is broken. Dodge can't fixed that? I think the service rep name was Triston. I hung up and called Harper Dodge. The Dodge Truck Service Rep. by the name of Tyler asked what the problem was. I proceeded to tell him the issue with the gas tank and that the vehicle was currently at Rocky Top Dodge and that they told me they could not fix it. Tyler asked some background questions and then asked for my VIN. He then proceeded to tell me that Dodge had extended the warranty relating to the gas tank straps and that they could fix it. I had the truck taken from Rocky Top Dodge to Harper Dodge and they fixed the issue the next day. Did not cost anything since it was covered under the extended warranty. Amazing how Harper Dodge could fix the problem and Rocky Top Dodge could not. If I lived down that way, I know I would be taking all my Dodge vehicles to Harper Dodge for service. Rocky Top Dodge is worthless!!!! To the owner and management at Harper Dodge, Tyler is an excellent service rep. and knows how to deliver customer service. Thanks again. read more

I recently sang the praises of Harper but having a tire rotation and 4 wheel alignment performed on my 2016 Chrysler 200, I have serious doubts about returning to them for any more service. They screwed my alignment up really bad and almost ruined a brand new set of tires. I didn't notice anything until several weeks later as the car hadn't been driven that much so I new there was no need to say anything as I would get no results. I took the car on an out of state trip and that's when I realized something was very wrong. I wound up taking it to a tire company that did the job correctly for a lot less money. They charge a big price for this "service" and do a poor job, be very careful. read more

I'm am absolutely stunned at the service department. Back in July of 2022, I took my car back to this dealership where I originally bought the vehicle. The stripes began to peel and it was still under warranty until August of 2022. The supervisor for the department took pictures, said he put in a claim, and said he would call me within about 30 days. 60 days roll by, no phone call. I call them in September and they say the guy is no longer there. They say they found my order but it may take a bit longer to get here and they would contact me about it. No big deal. I schedule an appointment in December, and I check on the status of my stripes. They can't even find me! Then I tell him it was placed in July and he said it was pushed back again. We are now nearing April of 2023 and no word. Frustrated, I called Dodge Corp. and they tell me no warranty claim was EVER put in. I call today to find out and they leave a voicemail saying I need to come in to take pictures again and restart the entire process over! So since July, I have been lied to each phone call! I just called another Dodge dealership and was told they have my specific stripes in the department right now! I'm in shock. 8 months for something that could take 7 days. Pathetic! read more
