Checked around a bit looking for an F150. Walked onto the Maryville lot, met Andy, told him what we wanted ... two days later the truck was delivered! Exactly as specified but below our top price. Excellent experience. Best vehicle buying experience ever. Nice job guys.

I purchased a Toyota Sequoia from S&S Auto Solutions as an out-of-state buyer. Before agreeing to…read moreanything, I provided my full Georgia address, ZIP code, and county, and specifically asked for the out-the-door price. All negotiations were conducted by text message and are documented in writing. I was clearly told that sales tax was included in the out-the-door price. I even have a photo of their computer screen showing the calculated Georgia sales tax (within about $100 of the correct amount), along with screenshots of all our price negotiations. We agreed on a price pending an independent inspection from a local shop -- an inspection they initially told me was unnecessary because they had already completed a "127-point inspection" themselves and through the auction. The independent inspection revealed several costly issues, including ball joints with an estimated repair cost of approximately $2,500. Based on those findings, we renegotiated and agreed on a revised out-the-door price. I informed them I would be paying cash via cashier's check and driving four hours each way to complete the purchase. They assured me the paperwork would be ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of trusting that everything matched our written agreement and did not re-review the paperwork carefully before signing. Later, I discovered that the Georgia sales tax had been removed from the deal, effectively increasing my cost by over $1,100 when I went to register the vehicle at the tag office. An "out-the-door" price has a clear meaning, especially when sales tax is explicitly discussed and documented. I have written proof of the agreement and will be submitting all documentation to the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs regarding deceptive practices and bait-and-switch conduct. I strongly encourage anyone considering doing business here to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly review every document before signing

MY rating is less than 1 star DON'T DO IT!!! So...I am a mature single woman and just bought a car…read morefrom this dealership. I did do perhaps a 2 mile test drive, and it went well. It was getting dark, guess they were in a hurry. I asked why the radio was coming in clearly, he didn't know. I got the car and have driven it all week, in that time I have figured out that the radio doesn't work because the antenna does come up and it's a convertible and of course it does not go down, the trunk will open but will not stay up on its own. I am unable to even charge my phone because there are no working plug-ins (cigarette lighter) Hydraulics were thrown in the back of the car. The main problem is the brakes grab aggressively, at first I thought it was simply me not used to them but then I realized it's dangerous! I am making a turn and the brakes grab, very unsafe!! I make this known right away, they wanted me to bring it to their service, so I did call and service guy said, I wanted to let you know that you have to pay at least $80 just for the diagnostics, anything else that's wrong, you are responsible for. I did not go, as I am not paying for diagnostic test when they should have done that in the first place. The sales person did let me know today that he only makes $250 off the sale and that he was paying the diagnostic testing out of his own pocket, and he would pay for any issues with the car as long as it's $150 or less. I bought this car as an "As Is" and understand that there will be flaws (there are cosmetic flaws with the paint/worn), but I expected/trusted they'd have every vehicle checked out before even putting them out to sell. I was given 5 days to return vehicle (if the cost was too much for me). I've fallen into the rabbit hole. I am reading all the negative reviews!! should've done it before

WARNING: Steer clear. They did not follow through on their end of our contract. It's been a year…read moreand a half and I'm still fighting them. Part of the "We Owe" contract was that they would replace the brakes and buff some scratches on our vehicle. We signed the contract, and they told us we'd get a phone call from the mechanic they contract to perform the work. Recently, Jake H (sales) told me that we no-showed for our appointment, even though Jordan (manager) confirmed with me they messed up the paperwork and never even submitted the order. We had to go back and sign additional documents under threat of repossession twice after the original sale. This place is an absolute scam. NEVER purchase from them.

This dealership has proven, IN WRITING, that they will change their story, refuse to honor their own offer, and then insult and attempt to intimidate you when you call them out. I was contacted by an employee named Brooklyn on Facebook Marketplace and invited to bring in my car for an appraisal. On October 17th, I was given a $17,000 verbal offer and told it would be good for 30 days. I returned exactly 14 days later -- well within the timeframe I was given -- ready to complete the sale. Instead, they suddenly dropped the offer to $15,000 and refused to accept even $16,000, which I offered in person. When I reminded Brooklyn of the original offer, she did not deny the amount or the date. Instead, she wrote: "i also know that we never say a month, we say 2 weeks." That makes the situation even worse, because I returned on day 14 -- exactly inside that "2-week" window -- and they still refused to honor the quote. She later confirmed the offer had been real by writing: "offer stood, then it went away." That is not a misunderstanding. That is not a negotiation issue. That is a dealership knowingly making an offer, acknowledging it, and refusing to stand behind it. After I left, calmly, without raising my voice or causing a scene, the messages from Brooklyn became openly unprofessional. She attempted to intimidate me by writing: "i sat right here and recorded your whole interaction." She was not present during the conversation she claims to have recorded. Tennessee is a one-party consent state, which means it is illegal to record a private conversation you were not part of and do not have permission to record. So she was either lying as a scare tactic, or admitting to doing something unlawful. Neither reflects ethical business behavior. LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR: If this dealership truly does have a recording, I openly invite them to post it in response to this review so everyone can see how I conducted myself. I remained polite and professional the entire time. I have nothing to hide, and they already know that. Once the intimidation angle failed, the tone shifted to disrespect and sarcasm. She wrote: "you clearly are having trouble selling it for what you want. what would make you think we would want it at that price..." and finally: "im sorry your feelings are hurt." That is the level of customer service this dealership considers acceptable. I walked in with a clean title, a well-maintained vehicle, and a willingness to sell. I was met with dishonesty, bait-and-switch tactics, and childish behavior when I pushed back. If this is how they treat someone who hasn't even purchased a car from them yet, imagine what happens once they have your money and you're stuck with them. There are dealerships in East Tennessee that honor their word, communicate professionally, and don't threaten or mock customers when confronted. Ole Ben Franklin Motors Alcoa is not one of them. I will never do business with them again, and I strongly recommend others avoid them as well. Full Messenger screenshots are attached to this review.
