I went to Twin Lotus Thai with my family for a LIVE music event and had a wonderful time! I wasn't sure what to expect as the rest of the parking lot was empty, but was greeted by a clean restaurant and very welcoming employees. It was easy to make a reservation for the event and preorder food ahead of time. The food arrived just as ordered and could have easily been adjusted if needed. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Yellow Chicken Curry and Green Beans. All of the food tasted fresh and was in good portions for the pricing. The Pad Thai was one of the best I've had, it was a little sweet while also savory. The Yellow Chicken Curry had some heat, but very delicious and packed with vegetables/chicken. The green beans were cooked very well, but had less flavor than other restaurants. We plan go there again and LOVE their support of community artists! Highly recommend a family night out to support local live musicians and a taste of good food!

The food was excellent. Lots of sweet things on the menu. Got lucky and got a spot right by the door. Loved the chicken on a stick

Exquisite!! Been coming here for 4 years now and have never been disappointed once! Ordered the fried rice today and it was delicious as always~ the Tom Yum Goong is my go to though! Amazing atmosphere with friendly staff and talented musicians. Make sure to stop by if you want authentic tasting food and a great dining experience!

Utterly disappointing. I got their beef salad and the beef is almost inedible. Way overcooked. Dressing is very salty and the "salad" is sad.

First time dinning in with my husband. Though I have been ordering out for months now. My husband and I we like this food. When we came inside my husband thought that maybe it was a private event that I went up to the counter and asked if we were able to dine in cause there was a large group of people and they were singing. So we were able to sit down anywhere we wanted and we enjoyed the live singing that anyone that has the courage to go up and sing can. The food was good. The spicy basil was really good and lots of flavor. The fried egg I would have want the yoke runny . The fried rice needed more seasoning or something. Over all it was good. The dim sum they are super small. I can go to T4 u and get dim sum 2 of them half of price what I paid which it was $8. The shrimp roll it was different thin layer only with shrimp. I think it was $9 maybe not to sure. Would I buy it again? No. The ladies were working hard they were nice. They just gave us the wrong straws since we were not able to drink up the jelly's lol. Do I recommend this place?? Yes! I do!

Came here to watch a live performance on Friday evening. It was a full house. Luckily there was a table available for my date and I. We ordered fresh veggie spring rolls, sweet pineapple curry and chicken pad thai. Veggie spring rolls was too plain. No flavor at all. The dipping sauce that came with it wasn't enough. Pineapple curry and chicken pad thai were good.

    I loved the fresh rolls

I saw this place while in the shopping center, so decided to stop by for lunch. It was a good meal! The place is clean and bright, and has a nice atmosphere. Service was great, and my food came quick. For lunch, I decided to go with the fresh spring rolls, (wrapped in rice paper not fried), and the spicy basil with rice. I asked how spicy it was, and she told me to pick a number. I asked for spice level one, and when it came, I could just barely taste the spice. The fresh rolls were very good! Two rolls cut into six pieces. Normally, I bring a few home, but these were so good, I ate all of them. Very fresh, and very delicious. The peanut dipping sauce they came with was rich and delicious. For the Thai basil, I picked ground beef for my protein. It also had, green beans, egg, bell peppers, white onion & basil with oyster & soy sauce. They left off the bell peppers as I asked. Everything was so good. The veggies were done perfectly, and the basil also gave it a good flavor. I really liked the combination of the oyster and the soy sauce. The jasmine rice, which I love, was perfectly done. The only problem I had, was that the egg was pretty much solid. I don't know if this is the way this Dish is supposed to come, but I would order the egg differently next time, as I like my yolk to drip into the food. Other than that, an absolute home run. Half of the main course came home with me. The price was very reasonable, plus they offer a military/veterans discount. I will be back. Thank you.

they only use dried packaged noodles not the fresh noodles like other places. Flavor is ok nothing special.

Tried for first time because its close by and reviews seemed decent. I guess we cant rely too much on reviews. Pad see ew and drunken noodles usually use the fresh fat noodles , but this place does not. Its the dried packaged noodles flavor is just ok nothing stands out to make us want to try it again. The papaya salad was the worse, had no flavor at all. Barely any lime or fish sauce taste and worse they placed it between hot curry and noodle dish which made the entire salad warm. The curry was just ok, it was super watery and sugary! Dont think we will be back.

    Chicken pad Thai

Delicious pad Thai with a hefty portion! Friendly and fast service, clean restaurant.

That it is customary in Sacramento. Ok then, what about to those that are elders or disabled who can't bring the plates? I was lucky I had few of my fam to help but there's no warmth to this owner. No one even checked on us at all! We would have left but we had to pay upfront before we found out we had to be the waitress. Food wasn't even worth it (papaya was bland, pad Thai was average). Update: owner replied to this post. Everything that she stated wasn't true at all. I asked why we have to bring all the stuff in and she insisted that it's customary in Sacramento-- she did NOT asked us at all or did we asked, the owner said it immediately when we got seated that we HAD to bring it in. Yes I was upset AFTER we were told to bring the plates and everything in; we just came back from a vacation so we were in a good mood). Please don't make it seem that you were innocent as you also keep mentioning that is how things are in Sacramento and asked where I was even from. Also, we would've been more understanding if we didn't give us an attitude from the start and told us to get our own plate and bring it back in. A word of advice: please hire more staff since that would give some politeness to ALL customers. If you were so busy, how would you even have the time to explain why you wanted us to do waitress work. Please, you straight up and said we have to pick up our our plate of foods WITHOUT any of the understaff part. Again, owner keep trying to make a costumer experience in the wrong since honest review will hurt her business. Never in my Yelp reviews owner is so against a bad review --this just verifies how the owner is very defensive and keeps justifying without taking accountability of what actually happened (like how we even know she was working alone since we're outside). Also, please don't make any assumptions, they're not my husband or daughter (we never mentioned this and how inaccurate the owner perspective is). Further customers, please be aware when you leave bad reviews, expect the owner to persist that you're in the wrong (like she did with other previous bad reviews).

I'm not sure if management or chef has changed but their food is not what I remembered from years ago. We initially ordered their tofu pad thai and gai yang and immediately noticed how pricey their menu was. They have a wall of specials and I remember being shocked that their orange chicken was $24. I didn't mind paying more than what I was used to for my pad thai because I remembered their food was delicious but I was shocked when my pad thai came out. It was literally drowned in sauce and looked like it was a bowl of noodle soup. I was still optimistic hoping that it tasted better than it looked but it just tasted like sweet rice noodle soup. I was hesitant to bring it up to the waitress after two bites but so glad I did because I would have hated myself if I left without saying anything. The waitress was kind and offered to remake the dish. Instead, I opted for something else because I was afraid to be disappointed again. I ordered their tofu drunken noodles since I've gotten it here before and remember it being tasty. I confirmed that the drunken noodle was going to be a dry noodle dish and thankfully it was. It was good but not the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had their gai yang which is a marinated grilled chicken dish. He said it was pretty dry without the sauce on the side but the sweet chili sauce provided was pretty tasty. It's probably not worth $26 given the how dry the chicken was and he said he would never order it again. Overall, the customer service was great and portions were good. I had to deduct 3 stars from my previous review as the food quality has significantly gone down in my experience and doesn't justify the high menu prices in my opinion.

We wanted to explore the menu so we ordered a variety of items to share, knowing we'd be taking home leftovers. We ordered the Green Curry ($17), Lao Pho ($18), Pas See Ew ($17), and pineapple fried rice ($19). It was truly a feast. All the dishes had a generous portion size and our server made sure we had extra bowls and plates to share the pho and other dishes. My personal favorites were the pad see ew and Lao pho, the noodles in the pad see ew were delicious and I always like eating this as fresh as possible so the noodles are steaming hot. The pho broth had great flavor and I loved that this Lao version had tomatoes in it. The meat in the pho was also delicious. The pineapple fried rice is a customer favorite, but didn't blow me away. I tend to like savory and spicy more than sweet and savory, so this could by why. The Green Curry was a bit too thin for my preferences, I like a thick curry. It was tasty though and I'm glad I gave it a try. I would definitely stop in again to try more of the menu, and when we stopped in the Lao sausage was sold out, so I'd definitely order it next time if they have it.
