I was introduced to this hole in the wall about 15 years ago. I don't come here often since I'm not really in the area. It is a little hidden because it's in the middle of a few businesses. I believe it's the same owners, they cook and serve, so it's a small team. This place is great for something quick and the portions are huge. I love their rice plates and noodle bowls. I've been coming here for years, not often, but regularly. The vermicelli rice noodles with pork remains consistently delicious! I love the spring roll that I get with it. The folks working here are kind and just attentive enough. It's not nearly busy enough for my liking though. Please come support this locally owned, consistently good place! Well, this was a lovely find. I don't live in Sac but was at Kaiser on Morse Ave. for an appointment and was looking for something nearby. I really wanted soup and pho seemed to fit the bill. Rice Noodle is a small restaurant but it was sweet and clean. My friend and I each ordered the pho and let me tell you, I think it is one of the best I have tried. I loved the broth which was rich and perfectly spiced. Everyone working there was kind and attentive and the prices were reasonable. What more can you ask? Another fantastic visit! This place continues to impress with its great food and service. I ordered the number 54 again with charbroiled pork, shrimp, and a crispy spring roll, and it was just as delicious as last time. My wife went with the number 48, sweet and sour chicken with rice, and she loved it. We also got an order of cream cheese ragoons, which were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. I love the Chinese/Vietnamese fusion here I was really surprised to see a vermicelli bowl with that Chinese bbq style pork in it- absolute genius! The vermicelli bowl was so so yummy and they gave me a solid amount of the sweet and tangy fish sauce and it was a solid amount of food too good bang for your buck. Update I'm not sure what's happening here but today's meal was not great. I had my usual shrimp rolls and number 56 which is a noodle bowl with beef. The shrimp rolls tasted like they had been sitting around for a while already. They were bland and completely dry on the outside. The beef in my noodle bowl was very dry. All in all, the meal was not as enjoyable as I'm used to. This has been the second time in a row, so I may look for another regular for now. read more
