I tried this yesterday after hearing good things about. The service staff were all wearing KU attire, but I won't hold that against them, after all, KU was playing for a shot at the final 4. The service was really slow because of short staff in the kitchen, but the waitress was so nice about it, we let it go. We weren't in a hurry, anyway. This was My first time at any Twin Peaks location. Visiting Kansas for work. I'm guessing Wednesday nights are good time to go because it was definitely packed. Hard to find a parking spot. This particular location is in a plaza type location. The food was very good. Our waitress was nice and accommodating. I had the Nachos which were huge serving. Got full off of those. My coworkers said the wings were good as well. They give you huge glasses for beers, which was a plus . Food is reasonably priced also. Did not get a chance to visit the restrooms while I was there. My wife and I stopped in here around Christmas time because we were shopping and we got hungry and wanted a drink. We had no idea that it was similar to a Hooters until we walked in. However, once we were seated we were extremely impressed by the service, how nice the staff was, the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of food. Hey smoke some of their own meats in house and brew some of their own beer in-house as well. It has a pretty diverse menu and is not super loud. I will say it was not what we expected. Ice cold beer- is no exaggeration. It's amazing how much better a beer is when served that cold. The food is decent bar food. I tried the appetizer sampler: fried pickles, mozzarella bites and buffalo chicken strips. Nothing to write home about but we somehow seemed to eat it all. For wings, they offer bone-in, breaded bone-in, breaded bone-out and grilled. I tried the grilled wings with jalapeño butter, they had a sweet low kick, not too spicy and I really enjoyed them. Also tried the garlic parmesan breaded bone-in. The fried breading alone was delicious and something new to try. Not my favorite garlic parmesan seasoned wings but they'll do. Great environment, especially to watch sporting events. Coupled with the awesome environment is an awesome selection of food that tastes great. My favorites are the wings and ribs. The ribs were recently added to the menu and even for Kansas City standards, they are extremely good. Definitely try the spicy Thai ribs. One of America's most well-endowed chains has made its way into Kansas City's suburbs and it looks like it could be here for a little bit. Among other things, this restaurant is all about its sports and events. TVs line the walls, hang above the bar and sometimes find themselves in between the tables. There's not a chance you'll miss your team, be it the Chiefs, Jayhawks, Wildcats, maybe the Tigers (pssh) or even maybe a UFC fight or two. The servers focus on the drinks, whether they're double tall beers or some specialty shots. The food is decent, but not overly spectacular. Dishes range from burgers and sandwiches to country specialties and even over to fish tacos. Friendly service, good food, tons of TVs and a great view ;-) I got the chicken fried steak, it was very good. The whole 29° beer thing is the only downfall. Beer at that temp is fine for crappy BMC beers but if your drinking a good beer you want it around 38°. All you can do is wait, and by thst point the ice that was on top melts and ruins the beer. Overall good place to grab a bit and look at some girls but if you are drinking beer go elsewhere. read more

Have you ever been to a place where when you eat the food it's as if the cooks are already checked out and ready to go home? Well that's what happened to me tonight at Twin Peaks. 1. We ordered two kids beef burgers for our dogs and when I opened the box it was one and multiple small pieces. It looked as if the one burger fell apart on the grill and they threw them in the box on top of cold and moist sweet potato fries. 2. The beyond burgers we ordered were decent, one was dry. The regular fries that came with it tasted as if they had laid under a heat lamp basking in salt becoming hard. Similar to fast food:( 3. The only thing that was good about this visit was the staff was super friendly to our dogs. This is the only reason for the second star. Food gets a 1 . I would say pass if you're in the mood for high quality of food, but if mediocrity is your thing, then this place is for you. Very disappointed:( read more

Went in for some beers and apps with some buddies...is clearly a guys' place. Now I like scantily clad coeds as much as the next guy. However these girls have uniforms to wear and as minuscule as they are, I just don't want to see spare tires and flabby bellies. I know, kinda shallow. But if you are selling that..... Even with spouses you'll have a good time. Fairly normal beer and wine selection, but the food menu is very good and the portions are more than ample. The servers (while scantily dressed) are very friendly even to middle/late-agers and very sweet girls! Good good and usually big enough for two of moderate appetites. We occasionally visit here for the food surprisingly & not for the "view". I started with a man size Angry Orchard - so glad many places have it in tap now. As advertised it was cold & satisfying. I had the catfish/shrimp combo with Mac n cheese with some input from Kelsi our waitress. My 2 catfish fillets where fried in panko crumbs so they were hot, crispy & had a good flavor. This catfish would rank as one of my favorites because it has quite a bit a flavor so no sauce would be required to give it some taste. . I swore I ordered chicken blackened but receive the shrimp instead. Kelsi our waitress assured me I ordered shrimp. The shrimp was also hot and tasty. It was spicy & flavorful enough to eat without the sauce. The mac n cheese, once you stir it a bit is definitely cheesy and has a good flavor. So I came in 30 minutes early because they don't take reservations and told them I had a birthday group coming in for myself and warned them we had a group they told us they could seat us in the man cave in fifteen minutes I said ok that's great then they said we can't seat you there because another group has reserved it but we don't do reservations so then they said I can seat your party at two different tables in different places I said fine we are here we will take it then they told us they would not be seating us because they seated someone else in those two tables and told us we would have to wait even longer and started getting rude because we were upset about getting the run around I'm a army veteran who had his young kids waiting in the cold to be seated and never ended up getting seated don't recommend eating here staff was very unhelpful read more

Upon arriving to this establishment, I can say with a certain amount of confidence, that I had high hopes. What I discovered however after entering said establishment was on par with what I could only assume someone from a lower class slum would enjoy. The sign boasts "Twin Peaks". Peaks being the key word to which had drawn me in as a man who fancies rock climbing and taking images with my 35 mm Nikon, which is the true way to take images. The lack of peaks or any sign of peaks that were twins, which I must admit is very rare, was appalling at best. I was informed that the establishment was a restaurant and the peaks were meant as some kind of innuendo. Personally, I feel as if the owners would have been better served calling it "women serving poor tasting food in underwear". At least that way, it would not have been a lie. For shame sirs is my response. I will however note the beer was rather tasty. read more

Decent food at an average price point. I love their spinach dip and blackened chicken quesadillas. I order both of those every time I come here. They also do have great prices on beer and they show you the exact temperature of the tap at all times. The beer comes out icy cold and the food comes out nice and hot. Have always had good service here as well. Never have had to wait for a table here as they have a large dining area and bar. I love that they also have a section that can be opened during the summer months but can be closed during the winter months. read more

This is our go-to place when we are meeting friends for a casual bite and some beers. Always seems to be a great, fun crowd, especially during big games. When it is a nice day out, it is great to sit on the patio, which is semi-enclosed, so you still feel like part of the crowd in the restaurant. The twin peak girls are always friendly and fun, all while providing great service. Definitely get a "man-sized" beer - much better value than the "girl-sized." And the beer is always cold, aimed at 29 degrees! They have a couple of in-house drafts, which are pretty good. We always enjoy the pulled pork nachos for an appetizer, and I usually get the boneless wings as a meal. The sweet bbq, Thai chili, and classic wings are delicious. The last time I was there are waitress name was Nyasha I think when we left, she said to ask for the hockey player if we wanted her again. Twin Peaks has the best atmosphere and coldest beer in town when it comes sports bars. Though it may be on the restaurant side of things, this place is always hoppin'. The service is great, the girls are pretty and the food is hot. The cabin decor makes you feel like you're in the mountains. We come here a lot and will continue to come in the future! read more
