As a woman, I've definitely felt taken advantage of by other mechanics in the past, so finding someone I can truly trust means a lot to me. Cathy's team did multiple checks, over multiple days, and eventually solved the problem for me, at an incredibly reasonable price. If I could give them negative stars I would. These guys shouldn't be offering powdercoating…read moreservices - they seem valid at providing quick tire fixes or replacement options. They are outsourcing the work and not even remotely worrying about the quality of the finished product. Their solution to a bad finish is "we can take em back and redo them". Nah fam - my time is way too valuable to be messing with you guys and this redo stuff. This review is based on few things: + they are going to tell you they can turn them around in 1 day... it's a scam to make you think they are going to be of high quality. + the first time they turned them around I noticed lots of running paint that was dried up. + they claim that nobody powdercoats the outer barrel of the wheel yet they advertise wheels that are fully powder coated inside and out. They literally gave me back two tone gradient wheels and didn't bat an eyelash -- the audacity + on the redo I gave them ample time to make sure they provided me with a high quality job only to receive a job worst than the first job. + $150.00 to repair rashed/bent wheel + powdercoat seemed pricey.... For the quality of work, I'd pay $50/wheel -- I'm being generous with that number. These wheels make me want to vomit + take a look at the images I posted so you can get a good idea of the amount of blemishes on these newly refinished (x2) wheels. $653.02 after tax for this job. I'd rather pay a fifth grader this money to give me a splatter job with house paint lol. I'm laughing straight to the bank with this one... can anyone say CHARGEBACKKK?!?! I called Jimmy's Rims & Tires as my tires were 9 1/2 yrs old and we were heading into winter again-…read moreplus we'd had an issue during a bad rainstorm snd a mechanic told us- part of the problem was the tread was going. Called Jimmy's as I'm local to Subset park. He texted right away- asked for a photo of our current tires so he could match them. I did- he had to order them. Once they arrived, we made an arrangement for me to drop the car off- his crew was very attentive... and they replaced the tires within a couple of hours. All went well! Sadly- one of the tires got a huge nail stuck in it a couple months later- was out of state at the time so replaced it at a Midas. I'd never asked about a guarantee at Jimmy's and it wouldn't have mattered that time- but I still need to ask! But good local business, made the process easy, and a nice crew.
