This location has a sign out front that just says the OG "Wetzels Pretzels" so Im unsure if this is still classified as a Twisted by Wetzel location? Either way, we walked in and it was clean and empty, though there was an odd smell. The employees were kind and took our order, kindly informing us that there would be a small wait for some of our order since they had to be made. No worries! I was so excited for this to open and I'm so happy after my first visit. Firstly, the interior is so cute and the merch is adorable. Wetzels always reminds me of my childhood and this retro decor hit me right in the feels!! The staff is nice and on top of all orders. I came on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. The Baja boardwalk hot dog was picture perfect and tasted DELICIOUS. The sauce was savory and everything was well seasoned. The buns were fresh and everything stayed well put together on the dog!! Stopped by today for the first time. My daughter really wanted to go. Was greeted and handed a menu when we walked in. My daughter order the pretzel pizza bites and a cheese dip. I paid $11.11. The cashier mention to me that the pizza bites were in the oven so it would be a five minute wait ( no problem I thought , very happy for fresh pretzels ). If I am not mistaken, the actual sign on the store front does say "wetzels pretzels" and nothing about being "twisted". I think ownership might have changed very recently or something...anyways. I was hesitant after reading the reviews and seeing the ratings, but had a hard time convincing about 20 5th graders that there favorite snack item would not be present at there Christmas party. Contacted the site and no catering trays available for such a large order was the worst thing-I heard in this whole deal. Was told that 17 orders of hot dog bites would only take 30 mins, and sure enough-it did! Went in at 2:00 was delivering 150 ea fresh and hot wetzel pretzel hot dog mini bites by 3:00! They asked me to put five stars to get something for free, it's so bad that I didn't even want the free item. We go in and I hear the girl infront of us complain that her lemonade taste "expired" and they just opened this store... we wanted the cookies and cream chimney cake but for some reason, they had no cake. Again they just opened? So they charged me for a soft serve. We waited for a good five minutes, in that five minutes I saw all four workers standing around looking confused and bored. The first thing you see entering the store is the employee who obviously doesn't want to be there. As I get closer, she has a pink dental floss pick in her mouth. Did she throw away the floss? No, she continued taking my order with the floss in her mouth. I felt more embarrassed walking out empty-handed. I think I'll stick to the original Wetzel's from the mall. read more

I tried their Baja Boardwalk dog and the Dog bites and both were really good. We had to wait a bit while they made the pretzels but it was worth it since they came out very fresh and soft. The Baja Boardwalk dog has a lot of lime and tajin so if you are into that then definitely try that one. read more

The weenies in our pretzel hot dogs were brown on the outside and pink on the outside, who knows how long they had been sitting out. Did not taste fresh, we did not finish the food. We did not notice right away because of all the toppings. I do not recommend anyone eat here. And to the establishment, do better. read more

I came in 2 hours before closing and they said they were out of pepperoni twist and wouldn't be making anymore. I only like the getting the classic pretzels from here cuz their bitz are always stale (probably cuz they sit there all day until they're sold). I was already there so I decided to roll the dice with the pizza bitz and sure enough they were stale and hard as a rock. PSA NEVER get the bitz from here, 9/10 they are old and stale and you'd spend $10 just to be disappointed. Better off just going to the mall and getting your pretzels there in my opinion. Sucks because I'd be here all the time if the quality weren't so bad. The frozen lemonade is also not as good as the ones you get from the mall either. I was looking forward to have a pretzel, my daughter ordered the piggies in a blanket.. i noticed they would brushed melted butter on them before handing us our order.. making our snack grossly greasy.
