Had to stop by for curb side pick up and get my twisted fried rice with shrimp . It's so tasty! I first had a taste at a Yelp event earlier in the year . Once I saw this was happening on IG, I went right over to the website and placed my order . My food was hot and ready right at 5pm. I did get the sauce on the side because, in my opinion, you only need a little . My only complaint is that I wish I had more rice , haha. It's just so good . Thank you guys for being available right now !

Go here for the boss hog egg rolls, these steal the show on their menu! They are huge with some sauces that compliment them perfect. On the other hand I would not get the shrimp quesadilla again it was very small and thin with some of the pieces with no shrimp. The fries though are great but not worth the price. Will definitely be back for the those egg rolls!

Recently while enjoying some wooden robot beers I decided I needed something to eat. Luckily the brewery has a kitchen where they make some truly unique and delicious offerings. The menu had so many interesting choices I had a really tough time deciding. My girlfriend went with their nachos which were piled heavy with meat. I decided to go for the buffalo flatbread. We both were blown away, the flavor and presentation went far beyond what I expected from a small kitchen inside a brewery. I always love going in for some beers but now I will be returning to eat as well.

Had the pleasure of trying Twisted Eats the other week while enjoying some drinks at Wooden Robot. The food concepts seem pretty crazy... (Disclaimer: you will want to order the entire menu) but I found the best way is to invite a group of friends, have everyone pick one thing on the menu, and have a nice sharefest... My band of three friends started with the 5 cheese beer cheese and pretzel which was AMAZEBALLS.... My pick off the menu was the fried ribs. Even more AMAZEBALLS than the beer cheese. The pork was fall off the bone and there was a nice crispy, little spicy sauced outer layer. So much goodness and so worth it. My buddies picked the duck quesadilla and Mac and cheese egg rolls. All very solid options. I love the fact that they collaborate with Wooden Robot. For example the Fried Ribs uses a base of Hop Rocks IPA mixed with burnt bourbon-mango Bbq. It's actually pretty refreshing to see a local brewery have a dedicated food truck to collaborate and pair their beers. Yes, you lose he variety, but I think he Twisted Eats menu has something for everyone (a great, unique take on food that compliments Wooden Robots brews). Looking forward to tackling the other eats on the menu!!

Very, very good food. I had the Mac 'n' Cheese egg rolls with the French Fries, and they were to-die-for. The service was a little slow because it was only one guy in the truck. I wish I had more beer to drink during the wait. That was the only down side besides the price.

I went to the new self dispense brewery called Pinhouse & this food truck was outside near the patio. We were hesitant at first because they don't offer a large menu & the menu descriptions do not do the items a justice. I enjoyed the Boa Tacos and the Egg roll Mac. Both were amazing, hot and hit the spot. It's the perfect combination with a beer. The picture speaks for itself. They even text you when the food is ready so it was nice not to have to wait right next to the truck. I'd have this again for sure.

The food was okay. Definitely overpriced for what you get serving wise, in my opinion. The flavor was good. The flatbread was a cracker, I've never had a flatbread in cracker form. I would recommend making that more clear on the menu for non regular guests. The toppings were minimal. There was a random piece of pork when it should have been ground beef. The onions were supposed to be diced, there were sliced. Subtle things, but for the price, I expected more. If you are drinking it's nice to have food nearby, but it's not that substantial. I did let the kitchen know that I was disappointed and they said they would let "them" know.

I just happen to be working in the area where Roaming Fork sets up on Thursdays out in Ballantyne and was able to grab some tasty lunch. The menu is varied and even has an Asian flare! I went with the recommendation of the cashier. I got the Porky Cheesy and the Truffle fries. The grill cheese had a good crunch and a good amount of filling. I love anytime you mix bbq pork and cheese and this didn't disappoint. The truffle fries get squirted with truffle oil after they come out the grease and have an amazing aroma. I liked the flavor but I love fries with a condiment so I felt like the fries could have used some ranch dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of items I would like to try. Hopefully I'm back in the area where they are located and can give them another try soon. Roaming Fork Thursday October 24, 2019 1pm

These folks may not give you forks, but they know what they're doing! Service has always been friendly and helpful, despite how busy the line can get. The cubanos are amazing - I've gotten the original and also the BBQuban. The OG is super solid, but OMG that BBQ one is just delectable and a great texture. Trust me. Try it. They also have the best yucca fries I've probably ever had. My issue with most yucca fries is that the texture tends to be pretty tough, but these are so soft inside - like they mashed the yucca first and then formed the fries. I don't know what magic they use, but they're incredible, and you must get some. We also got a churro filled with dulce de leche, and it came out nice and hot with lots of cinnamon sugar coating. I didn't love the dulce de leche filling for some reason - maybe I got spoiled by spending time in Argentina - so next time I'll likely go for the regular churro.

I follow these guys on Twitter and was always hoping they'd camp out in the Southpark area one day to draw a lunch crowd. To no avail, I was forced to wait until this weekend! Happy to find these guys at Small Bar in the NC Music Factory for PBR Fest. Churning out pizza and wings for the beer crowd. I had heard multiple cheers of praise and glory about this truck's pizza and wings. I was even a little intimidated approaching the order window. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with describing all of the menu items. We ended up getting two slices of cheese, a slice of the buffalo chicken and 5 Carolina Buffalo wings. We sat down with 24oz tallboys in hand and went to town. I was happy to say that the wings are AWESOME. Perfectly cooked, a little crispy on the outside, not dry, tender, slathered generously with amazing sauce. The Carolina Buffalo is a winner. Mustard-based bbq with a plethora of buffalo sauce thrown in. My taste buds were happy. Uhh...they need to make a Carolina Buffalo pizza. (No brainer, yeah?) The only thing that sank my happy sailing dinner experience was the pizza. A little lackluster and the sauce was a bit reminiscent of box pizza from the frozen section in the grocery store. Maybe our slices had been sitting out for a bit, but didn't have the freshest of textures. I did appreciate the crust and enjoyed sopping up the remainder of the wing sauce with them. I can't say that the pizza was banging on all cylinders or a culinary breakthrough, but is definitely reliable. The combo of wings and pizza in one meal from the street, though? Baller status. Grab a tallboy and it's all over. Foodtruck heaven. So happy to have finally tried these guys out and can't wait to see them at Chowdown Uptown in the near future! Carolina Buffalo Pizza, guys! Let's see it happen! Cheers.
