We went for my Birthaversary in early December. There is only one thing I go here for and that's the Sea Bass. It was a Saturday night, after 7:00 pm & they were OUT of it. I was beyond disappointed, and while what I had instead was very good, it wasn't what I wanted, or had my taste buds set on. Stuff happens & it is what it is. This was the first tome I've ever been disappointed. The food here is really great. Fried Ravioli, the Italian Relliano, the Lasagna you can have made the way you want to some extent, the Alfredo. My family loved everything they ordered. The lemon blueberry cake is divine. It's a relatively small restaurant with a full bar, a couple of large high-top tables & the rest half booth half chair. I really can't recommend them enough. That they were out of a popular menu item late on a Saturday was just bad luck/planning on my part. I suggest going before 7:30 pm on a Saturday if you want everything to be available; they are only open till 9:00 pm. That was the first time I've ever experienced them being out of anything. A small group of us visited on a Saturday evening for our first time. The host greeted us and seated us right away. Our server was super kind and sweet and made the experience even better. We started with a couple of happy hour appetizers, the calamari and fried mozzarella. I ordered the Gorgonzola Bacon Pear salad which comes with pecans, dried cranberries, onions, tomatoes, and with ranch dressing. I asked for a side of their strawberry vinaigrette instead since I wanted something lighter. I ended up enjoying it even more with the strawberry vinaigrette! This was another amazing dining experience at Twisted Italian. Outstanding atmosphere and phenomenal service! We atarted with bread service and fried zucchini - the ranch was a perfect compliment. The king cut house lasagna was superb with homemade noodles. The salmon piccata was light with notes of lemon and capers. The noodles were sauced perfectly. This is a popular spot during snowbird season. Even if you join their online waiting list and arrive when it tells you to, it's going to be a while before you get seated. I ordered the buffalo chicken pasta. It was quite salty, and sour and spicy. Kind of difficult to eat for me. I wish they had put the sauce on the side as that way I could have added the amount I wanted for flavor. As it was it was too strongly flavored and I could not separate the noodles from the sauce. But the portion size was good. Generous. The other 3 members in my party said their meals were about a 3/5 also, but in their case food was kind of bland...so that's our opinion. read more

I've been here a few times before and really enjoyed my food. Once I ordered the Piccata Fish Friday Special and I've been meaning to return and order again. I've been craving it. It's very crowded here on evenings so there's usually a wait. This is a small, intimate Italian eatery with a mini bar/bar seating area at the back, and table and booth seating in the main dining area. There's a restroom for customers. Last Thursday, we wanted to celebrate a final meal with extended visiting family during Spring Break. We arrived around 2:30 pm to beat the rush. We were seated immediately at a long booth table. It was a good dinner. Mom liked her spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parm was very good. There were a few things that wouldn't allow me to give them a 5 star but it was a solid tasty Italian meal. I think Yelp has it right just above 4 stars. The place wasn't huge but spacious enough inside to feel busy but not chaotic. They have a really nice happy hour menu with great options but we didn't take advantage of that. That's all I got for this place, but give it a go if you're nearby. read more

My family stayed at Cibola Vista Resort in 2023 and we found this place originally as this area was less developed; the Yelp reviews just looked SUPER YUMMY. Items we enjoyed: Calamari strips - so fresh my ASD child practically inhaled it! No curly bodies, but the strip were so yummy, I had to fight him for the last one. He had like 7 of them... LOL. Fried Mozzarella - crispy AND gooey, yummmm! Parents shared the Lasagna - That was definitely top 3!! SO TASTY!! #1 Hubby had the combo BF & SAUSAGE, huge sandwich and delicious!! #3 I had pizza Bianca, but I don't like CKN & SPIN on my pizza so I added MUSH & GORG instead. Got the large because everyone said it sounded so good. Ha! They kept stealing pieces, so good thing! #2 HIGHLY recommend the Sangiovese (POGGIO) and the Ruffino CHIANTI is always a winner!!! This small gem of a place hidden in a shopping center on Happy Valley. It is a bit on the darker side when dining in but I expect to see that in an Italian restaurant that has an excellent menu selection for dinner. My husband and I were given a friendly greeting and were served by a sweet lady by the name of Nicole. She was very polite and friendly, offered her insight when having trouble deciding. The service was phenomenal. Food: my husband and I shared these amazing gnocchi fried appetizer bites which were outstanding. When I say I would want to eat these all the time I mean it! Kudos to the chef. I choose to try their Sangria which was the BEST Sangria I've had in years! This is scary good, like I would drink it so quickly to where I would probably enjoy 3 on a visit here. I highly recommend it! Now food Hubby chose the Ribeye, veggie and pasta dinner meal which was delicious. They cooked it perfect to Medium rare. This is where it's a bit disappointing but to be fair it's only due to my dish being too much on the saltier side. I understand this is too taste but I couldn't enjoy my Lasagna because the lasagna sauce/ grated cheese and all the ingredients used as a filling kind of made it too salty. I appreciated the free bread that would allow me to dip in the sauce to make it taste less salty. I do want to order this dish again but perhaps I will skip the cheese grated on top to then have a fair judgement on this dish. I feel that this lasagna dish has so many variations that when combined make such a delicious dish. Again this is the only down side to everything. The dipping spices placed on a plate for us to enjoy with fresh olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette is so delicious. Thank you all again for delicious dinner experience.
