Twisted Italian is an upscale casual Italian restaurant, they are known for traditional dishes with creative twists. Their food is delicious, friendly service, and a busy environment. I got the Fried Mozzarella (Hand Cut Breaded Mozzarella Strips, deep fried and served House Marinara. Uses Grande Cheese from Wisconsin for a superior melt) and the Chicken Parmesan (Hand breaded crispy 7oz chicken breast topped with Marinara, Bruschetta Mix (diced tomato, red onion, basil) and melted Mozzarella Cheese. Served over Angel Hair Pasta with Alfredo Sauce).

Great little hidden spot! Service was good, fresh bread and plates of oil with seasonings. Lunch specials are a great deal and the food was so tasty. I ordered the Mediterranean pasta and the house salad which were both great portion sizes and tasty. It gets busy and fast after opening at 11 so either show up early or prepared to wait!

The atmosphere was nice. The wait staff was fantastic. The food was delicious. We didn't have to wait Long. The chicken Parm was delicious. Chicken was juicy. I had the pepperoni pizza. It was fantastic. this restaurant is family friendly. Many options for beverages. I would definitely come again at my next visit to Arizona.

This was another amazing dining experience at Twisted Italian. Outstanding atmosphere and phenomenal service! We atarted with bread service and fried zucchini - the ranch was a perfect compliment. The king cut house lasagna was superb with homemade noodles. The salmon piccata was light with notes of lemon and capers. The noodles were sauced perfectly. We capped the meal with lemon blueberry mascapone cake was elegant, light and soft. Highly recommend Twisted Italian!

I've been here a few times before and really enjoyed my food. Once I ordered the Piccata Fish Friday Special and I've been meaning to return and order again. I've been craving it. It's very crowded here on evenings so there's usually a wait. This is a small, intimate Italian eatery with a mini bar/bar seating area at the back, and table and booth seating in the main dining area. There's a restroom for customers. Last Thursday, we wanted to celebrate a final meal with extended visiting family during Spring Break. We arrived around 2:30 pm to beat the rush. We were seated immediately at a long booth table. Our waitress was such a doll. She was ultra friendly and accommodating and took good care of all of us. We had such a good meal together. Oil and balsamic vinegar is on the table for the complementary bread basket brought to the customers. We ordered: - FRIED RAVIOLI STARTER - Ricotta filled ravioli breaded and deep fried. Served with Marinara - ZUCCHINI STARTER - Parmesan cheese breaded zucchini chips. Deep fried and served with a spicy garlic cayenne dipping sauce. YUM!! My favorite. The dipping is amazing too. - BUFFALO CHICKEN FETTUCINE ALFREDO - House made Buffalo Alfredo Sauce with Fettuccine Pasta, Red Onions, and Sautéed Chicken. Topped with Gorgonzola cheese. My daughter loved this! - GNOCCHI TELEFONO - Potato Dumplings baked in a Tomato Cream Sauce topped with Mozzarella and Basil - SAUSAGE & PEPPERS SANDWICH LUNCH SPECIAL (Good, Spicy Sausage. Very tasty, large portion) - MEAT LOVERS 16" SPECIALTY PIZZA - Sausage, Salami, Pepperoni - EUROPEAN SEA BASS Pan Fried Parmesan Crusted Branzino seasoned with Rosemary, Garlic, lemon and a touch of compound butter. Served with Angel Hair Pasta with Capers and Grilled Veggies. My choice - loved this! Everything was good and fish cooked well. - MEATBALL SANDWICH Toasted French Bread stuffed with House Meatballs, Marinara, and Melted Mozzarella. Served with your choice of side (twisted House salad with ranch) Hubs enjoyed his sandwich 4/5 - CHICKEN PARM SANDWICH Hand Breaded crispy 7oz chicken breast topped with Marinara, bruschetta mix (diced tomato, diced red onion, basil), and melted mozzarella. Served on a toasted French Roll. My nephew ordered and loved this. I was wishing I'd ordered this. It was very large and looked delicious - FETTUCINE ALFREDO Homemade creamy garlic Alfredo with broccoli. Served on Fettuccini Pasta - LEMON BERRY CREAM MASCARPONE CAKE - TIRAMISU

My family stayed at Cibola Vista Resort in 2023 and we found this place originally as this area was less developed; the Yelp reviews just looked SUPER YUMMY. We couldn't remember the name, but I searched and searched because we all loved it!! We thought it had closed, which ended up being a completely different restaurant THANK GOODNESS (and no bad ill to those people.) Imagine my surprise when the restaurant we show up to, with call ahead was the restaurant I had been searching for from 2 years ago. Krista was our server and she was AMAZING!!! We wanted and needed for nothing!!!! WHICH ADDS A LOT TO ONE'S DINING EXPERIENCE. Everything is reasonably priced, which is much appreciated. Items we enjoyed: Calamari strips - so fresh my ASD child practically inhaled it! No curly bodies, but the strip were so yummy, I had to fight him for the last one. He had like 7 of them... LOL. Fried Mozzarella - crispy AND gooey, yummmm! Parents shared the Lasagna - That was definitely top 3!! SO TASTY!! #1 Hubby had the combo BF & SAUSAGE, huge sandwich and delicious!! #3 I had pizza Bianca, but I don't like CKN & SPIN on my pizza so I added MUSH & GORG instead. Got the large because everyone said it sounded so good. Ha! They kept stealing pieces, so good thing! #2 HIGHLY recommend the Sangiovese (POGGIO) and the Ruffino CHIANTI is always a winner!!! My three boys + two nephews enjoyed the pepperoni pizza, fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken fingers with fries off of the kids menu, along with a side Caesar and more fries!! Be sure to get the CANNOLI!! The bread was also SO FREAKING GOOD!! THANK YOU KRISTA AND TWISTED ITALIA FOR SUCH A LOVELY EVENING OUT!! MY FAMILY IS STILL RAVING ABOUT IT!! (Even my picky mom!!) Don't tell her I said that. HA-HA!

It came with grilled ciabatta, arugula, shaved red onion, and a Calabrian vinaigrette. The burrata was incredibly creamy and paired perfectly with the tomatoes, while the crunchy ciabatta added a wonderful contrast in texture. My husband chose the Sicilian meatballs, which were served over creamy polenta with rustic marinara and grana padano, also a very solid dish. For our entrees, we had the hot honey & smoked prosciutto pizza and the strozzapreti, a pasta dish with herb-roasted chicken, mushroom, spinach, parmesan cream, truffle, and pine nuts). Both were fantastic! The pizza nailed that sweet and savory flavor profile, and the crust was absolutely perfect. The strozzapreti was also delicious -- rich, creamy, and packed with mushroom and truffle flavor. Last time we visited the North Italia Phoenix location, the pasta was a bit too soft and lacked that proper al dente bite, but this time it was cooked flawlessly. Unfortunately, the desserts were a letdown. We tried the hazelnut torta and the tiramisu, but both were overwhelmingly sweet. The tiramisu tasted soggy, like it had been sitting in the fridge for a long time instead of being freshly made, and the chocolate balls on top felt unnecessary and cheapened the dish. The service was also a bit of a mixed bag. Somehow our desserts were brought out before we had even finished our entrees. As a result, the ice cream on top of the hazelnut torta just sat there melting by the time we were ready for it. It made the end of the meal feel rushed, like they were trying to turn the table over quickly.

Of course it was always during the day when they weren't open and it was quickly forgotten. Finally the universe brought us nearby while we were on our way to dinner to another restaurant and the lightbulb went off "what about that Italian place near XXXX" and the rest was history. My goodness are we happy we had that epiphany because we just found our new favorite Italian joint. First off the service was fantastic and that was all courtesy of Sal. He is very knowledgeable and just cool about everything he says and does. It's like you're having dinner at his house. He just wants you to have the best experience without any pressure because he knows the food will deliver. I know It's so annoying to ask for recommendations but he didn't seem bothered by it at all. In fact he encouraged it and after taking his recommendation i understand why he was so confident. This place is just so damn good. Starting with the bread, it was fresh, warm and delicious. We had the soup (tomato basil) and summer salad special which were both great. Onto the entrees, the lasagne bolognese and the eggplant parm with ravioli instead of the sautéed spinach as recommended by Sal. Both were so DELICIOUS. The eggplant parm was light and flavorful which the lasagne was dense but packed with so much goodness. It was a lot of food so we had to take most to go, which will be another 2-4 meals for us. We finished with a chocolate peanut butter mousse dessert which was the cheery in top of a great meal. I'm so happy fate brought us here. I can't wait to go back.

I don't know why the other locations don't offer this as an option. Im not sure when they changed their Italian Farm salad to the Italian Cobb Salad but its very similar and still delicious and refreshing. This has some zucchini, green olives, sun dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, salami of a couple sorts, different cheeses, pistachio mortadella, mixed greens and oregano vinaigrette. I always go for the Roasted Salmon as it's a perfect balance of colors and taste. There were mixed in cauliflower and a bit of broccolini. I would definitely love to have more broccolini though. I ordered this as part of the summer menu which it comes with a choice of their daily soup (which was a creamy chicken soup on a Saturday), Sicilian meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Simple Salad or Charcuterie plate. I went with the charcuterie plate which had a array of foccicia bread, pitted green olives in an olive mix of rosemary or thyme theme taste, sweetened figs over a soft cheese spread, pecorino cheese I think, candied nuts, a jalapeño forward pickled veggies such as carrots, cauliflower, prosciutto, speck (another type of prosciutto). Other dishes were kids Alfredo pasta, Margherita pizza and the ricotta cavatelli which has lump crab meat and shrimp, mint and lemon olive. Our server was absolutely 100 percent as well as the rest of the staff. This place used to do valet but when we came for lunch there was no valet which I appreciated as the lot is just a regular private parking. It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!
